Luca, the owner, was absolutely amazing—he genuinely cares about his guests. We’re incredibly grateful for his help during our three-day trip in Taormina. When our flight was delayed and we missed our pre-booked taxi, I contacted Luca, and without hesitation, he personally drove to Catania Airport to pick us up. That generous gesture saved our entire vacation plan. The property itself is beautifully designed—comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully maintained. The lady who prepared breakfast was also incredibly kind, making us feel like part of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The location was excellent, close to the restaurants and other amenities of Taormina, with fantastic views over the bay. Having someone to take charge of our hire car and park it for us, then bring it back when we were leaving was very much appreciated as driving through the narrow streets of the town isn't the easiest. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of pastries, fruit, eggs, yoghurt etc and including gluten free options - all cheerfully served by the very helpful Gabriella!

It would have been great to have a small fridge in the room and a kettle to make tea or coffee. Although the property provided a bar service, this didn't operate after 8.30 pm.

As previous reviews have said Casa Arico is a perfect stop over point in Taormina for those like ourselves who prefer small, owner run establishments to big impersonal hotels. Whilst Casa Arico is a little tricky to find ( even with Waze) our host was very helpful in guiding us. He has a link up with a private car park and our car was collected and returned by a very helpful driver. Using this facility is strongly recommended as driving and parking in Taormina is a nightmare! Location of the property is perfect. Quietly situated yet only 5 minutes walk to the main street. The very quirky (in places) but stylish decor is a real feature. Our room was large, tastefully furnished and with a nice little balcony. Bathroom worked well. Excellent breakfast served . We loved it!

Luca was extremely helpful and responsive, arranging valet parking which was a huge help given the narrow and steep streets. The suite, located in his family home, was both comfortable and charming — with beautiful touches and a welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect: quiet, but just a short walk from everything we wanted to see and do in Taormina. Luca also gave great restaurant recommendations that helped us avoid tourist traps and enjoy a more local experience.

Seaview is perfect, ambience is sophisticated matching the standard of high class boutique hotels. Location is very central avoiding steep walks. Very quiet despite being close to restaurants and cafes. Gabriella prepared a superb breakfast and made sure our room was spotless clean. A lovely lady. Luca is a great host always available to give tips to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Everything was very good. Coffee/teamaker in the room for an early morning drink would be a useful and highly appreciated addition.

Our stay at Casa Aricò was phenomenal. The vibe is that of a high-end bed and breakfast or boutique hotel. We were blown away by the attention to detail and tasteful decor. The staff was superbly attentive. The breakfast was the best I'd ever had in Italy. The house attendant, Gabriella, was phenomenal and easily one of our favorite things about this experience. The pictures do not do this place justice and the location could not have been better. I highly, highly recommend it.

We rented a car to go to Taormina, and I strongly advise against that. To be clear, this has nothing to do with Casa Aricò, but it was the only stressful part of our stay. If I had to do it all over again, that is the only thing I'd change. Having said that, the staff at Casa Aricò were very accommodating and took great care of our rental, so if you absolutely must drive there, the parking options are both excellent.

Elegant, spotless facility, from beautiful common areas to the exquisite suites. The cleanest place we've ever stayed! It felt like we were staying in a (most comfortable) art museum. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating to any/all needs (thank you Luca, Gabriella and Enrico). And we really appreciated Angelo parking and retrieving our car for us - a very helpful option. Finally, we enjoyed seeing Romeo, the house cat each morning too!

Our bed had a low spot in the middle, maybe time for a new mattress? Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect!

The property is a beautifully stylish boutique hotel with the most amazing rooftop terrace. Everything about the decor has been carefully thought out and our room had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Even toiletries and beach towels! Luca was the perfect host and the breakfast laid out every morning was superb. Add to that the location, just minutes from the old town, and it couldn’t have been better.

Luca (the owner) was great. He really cares about his property and makes the guests feel like family. Plus the breakfast was amazing and the location was excellent. It’s just a few minutes walk from Corso Umberto, but on a nice quiet and non-crowded street.

Wonderful breakfast and lovely Gabriela fussed over us making sure we had all we wanted for breakfast. Beautiful home with an incredible collection of art. Location was 2 minute walk from the old town but far enough away sp one can easily relax and rest without all the noise. Luca was a great host and provided plenty of restaurant recommendations and things to do in Taormina

It was a distance from the beach but easily accessible by cable car.
