Excellent position.

Photos promoting hotel were misleading with breakfast area. Breakfast was in the basement with no windows or views. There was no mention of breakfast being available on the verandah as pictured until after June.

Fabulous location….unbeatable …noisy on the street but does not take away from the location…well worth it...lovely buffet breakfast and charming room …

No air conditioning..room was very warm ….no info on how to get from the train station to the hotel which is confusing as when you arrive you have no idea where you are..the hotel and the town centre is quite away from the station..so any information on transportation to the hotel would have been greatly appreciated…and, almost all information generally about transportation to and from the train station was different from every source ..very frustrating..but the town in beautiful and now we know our way around would stay again. Unbeatable location..

Absolutely perfect location and the hotel is charming. Breakfast was great, lots of fresh pastries, fruit and cake plus hams, cheeses etc and the most amazing views over the bay. Rooms were quiet at night and so comfortable. Most definitely would stay here again.

Located just on the main lovely tourists street. Everything is in a walkable distance. Very convenient!. 24/7 reception, nice and comfortable rooms (we had also a small balcony which is nice), and everything is very clean and safe. We parked at the public parking and used the free shuttle to town center (takes 5 min).

The only thing was that Breakfast is very poor, very few pieces of each choice (which ends quickly) and filling takes forever (looks like they have limited amount of gradients, and wants to spread all over breakfast time).

Location! In the heart of picturesque Taormina! I had originally picked a hotel down the coast but changed my mind because it was too far from the central district. Air conditioning! We had to keep the window closed because of late night pedestrians so the AC was extremely helpful. Note: our room did not have a view of the water, probably because asked for a queen size which was street side. Taormina was a perfect location to visit Mt. Etna. Luckily, we booked a private tour to pick us up near the hotel. The service after checkout was unparalleled. They WhatsApp’d me immediately upon finding my husband’s passport in the room. They recommended Mailboxes Taormina to handle its return. We received the passport promptly. Hotel Isabella handled the situation perfectly.

Parking was confusing. They should have provided clear instructions on where to park with their booking.com description because there was no parking next to the hotel. We wasted an hour finding the garage and then shuttling back to town. There was no bar or liquid soap provided for the sink, bidet or shower. In this situation, I had no problem buying a bar of soap from a nearby pharmacy so I didn’t notify housekeeping. Second, there were extremely long drapes, both solid and shear, and both drapery rods did not operate. Had to close manually. The desk tightly held a small refrigerator whose door was hard to open.

The location was excellent. The hotel is located in the middle of the "old town" main street which is mostly a pedestrian road. The road is only used by emergency vehicles and by other transport for early morning deliveries to shops and restaurants. Loads of restaurants, trattorias, coffee shops, general shopping around. The staff at the hotel was lovely and very accommodating. Good breakfast.

There was no shampoo or body wash. This is not a deal breaker but more of a convenience. The beautiful terrace with a view of Mt Etna was closed, again not a deal breaker.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and caring, always going out of their way to ensure guests felt welcome and comfortable. Special thanks to Elena and Carmello, who were incredibly helpful in recommending great spots to visit in the city. They were always friendly and attentive, and even arranged breakfast packages for us when we had an early flight. Their efforts truly made our vacation memorable. The hotel's location is perfect, with easy access to various attractions, dining, and shopping options. This convenience made it simple to explore the area and enjoy all it has to offer.

However, due to its central location, the evenings can be quite loud, with noise from the surrounding area continuing until late at night. And breakfast could have had more savory variety.

Because the Isabel Hotel was in renovation I was offered the room in Villa Diodoro hotel, probably ran by the same owners. Isabella hotel has very good location in the middle of "the old town", but Villa Diodoro is not very far from it, but it offers stunning views from every room. My room's view towards lower Taormina, the bay and Etna (corner room with corner balcony) was absolutely fantastic. Very good comfortable bed and very nice breakfest for both sweet and salty lovers. a definitely recommend that hotel, specialy with the off-season price which is very low imho.

I would say, that changing corridor rugs is the only thing I would recommend. They seem to be a little used. Everything else was more then good.

Location was great right in the middle of everything

Nothing about the property. Just our room was facing the main street which is a bit noisy at night with people walking & also then in the morning with the garage trucks coming & vendors getting their deliveries the balcony doors are not that sound proof Also our attached blow dryer didn’t work I told the front desk thought they would fix or give one but they didn’t. Our daughter’s room had a portable one so I just took theirs. We were only there 2days. The breakfast was great though

We booked this hotel as we were attending the Roberto Bolle and Friends Gala in the Teatro Antico. The location couldn't have been better. It is a few minutes walk to the theatre and the location of the hotel is in the main shopping/restaurant area of Corso Umberto. The hotel staff were all friendly and spoke good English. The open air terrace gave amazing views of Mount Etna and the coastline. The continental breakfast was good, and the croissants and torte di Nonna were delicious. We used the local CitybySee hop-on hop-off buses, located just a few minutes away, to see all the sights and to take us to the beach. We used the cable car, also just a few minutes away, to bring us back from Isola Bella beach up to Taormina centre.

Everything was as expected for the price we paid. If you wish to have a bigger room / bathroom / cooked breakfast then you need to find another hotel. This was perfect for our needs.
