Lovely perfectly located hotel. Very clean , Breakfast was good, and served in typical Sicilian setting, and the ladies serving breakfast ( amongst them Gabriella) could not do enough for you. Salvatore , the owner also always helpful, and Luigi and Pierro always there to help with bags, explain directions, and provide any help one may need. Always with a smile, Loved my stay and will be back .

The only issue, which applies to all of the accomodation on this Main Street, - cars are not allowed, so no taxi can simply take a visitor to the hotel. Anyone staying at this and other accomodation in this location must walk with luggage from the location allowing motor vehicles.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—right in the heart of Taormina and just a 10-minute walk from the central bus station, which made getting around very easy. Despite being so central, it was peaceful and quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep. The room was clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of a balcony. The 24-hour reception was convenient, especially for late check-ins or questions. Breakfast was satisfying, and I appreciated that it included eggs, which isn’t always a given in Italy. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Taormina!

Located on the Corso Umberto, the main-drag pedestrian walkway, Hotel Victoria is centrally and conveniently located. Its a boutique hotel (my preference in hotels) with hand-painted furniture. My single room was small but had everything I needed: a comfortable bed, desk (containing a refrigerator), cabinet to hang clothes, good plumbing in the bathroom and reasonably-priced as well. Lighting is good too, which so often is a problem in hotels. Twin brothers Luigi and Piero run this lovely hotel and are most helpful and kind. It was a pleasure interacting with them. The breakfast room is lovely and staff is very accommodating. Good selection of fresh foods and coffees too. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Victoria and high recommend it.

Can't think of anything, which is a good thing! I would like to point out that since Hotel Victoria is located on a pedestrian walkway, no cars are allowed there so that means taxis cannot deliver you to the door. Patrons need to advise taxi drivers to drop them off at the Gate of Messina, which is about a five-minute walk from the hotel. Really easy!

The location is perfect. Right in the middle of Corso Umberto, the main shopping-dining street. We booked two rooms. My son stayed in a single room, we stayed in a double. Both rooms were basic but very sufficient. We had a balcony, which was fun. The breakfast was very good with many options. Pastries were always fresh. The guys sitting at the reception were all very helpful and nice to chat with. Taormina is built on steep hills. I'd recommend to book a hotel close to Corso Umberto since you'll spend a lot of time in restaurants, bars, cafes. Booking a room down the hill, close to beaches, is tempting but you may end up going up and down throughout the day.

I don't know whose fault it was (booking.com or the hotel), but at the time of our booking there were two prices for the same room: one with "high-speed internet" written and one without. The price difference wasn't very high, but it was there. Anyways, we booked a room with "high-speed" internet. It turned out that all rooms had pretty good internet, irrespective of what you paid. The hotel (or the guys working there) thought that was a mistake in the booking process.

We had stayed at the Hotel Victoria years ago and were thrilled to be back. This time we were given complete instructions for parking. The decor is totally charming. The men at the desk are helpful. The air conditioning was out the night of our stay (fortunately it was a cool night) with repair unavailable, so we were upgraded (without our asking) to a beautiful room with a balcony. Our friend easily found a quiet space for a necessary Zoom meeting. A tasty breakfast was served in a lovely room. Highly recommended.

This is a characterful hotel, decorated accordingly.. Oscar Wilde stayed here in the 1890s when it had a direct view to the sea. Now it overlooks the main street. The entrance leaves little impression, but go behind to the street parallel and the wrought iron work on the doors gives you a idea of it's former grandeur. The reception and breakfast staff were warm and friendly without exception and breakfast was plentiful. The room was a decent size, the shower had good pressure and the bed was firm. We stayed in 5 different places and this was the only one with hot drink making facilities in the room. We had a small balcony with an internal alleyway view ahead, but turn to the side and you can see the chapel on the top of the hill. On the third floor of the hotel there's a large, attractive function room with a balcony overlooking the main street, where you can take your own drinks and avoid the extortionate tourist prices changed locally.

There is nothing not to like about the hotel.

Perfect location, in the heart of central Street. Very good breakfast (including pastries, yogurts, ham and cheese, fruits, and a very good coffee). Super friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and clean room with a balcony and a nice view of the pedestrian street.

Lack of power outlets (but reception provided a splitter on our first request). Lack of shelves in the closet. A bit small shower cabin. The mattress was a bit uncomfortable. But overall, great hotel that I would recommend and definitely would come back

I spent 10 wonderful days in Taormina. The hotel is located in the city center on the main tourist street. Despite this, the room was quiet. The hotel staff is wonderful and friendly.😊 They will gladly advise and share information if you need it. The room is cleaned daily and changed the towels too, which was a pleasant surprise for me. Breakfast at the hotel is quite modest. Only the pastries satisfied my tastes. But you can also eat outside the hotel, because in Taormina there are restaurants and cafes for every taste. 💦🏊‍♂️As for the sea, there r several ways to get there from Taormina: 1.Mazarro, you need to go by cableway (10 euros there and back - 3 minutes on the way) or by your own transport. 2. There is a bus to Giardini Nexos for 1.90 euros one way - 10 minutes on the way. In general, I was satisfied with my stay both at the hotel and in Taormina. I recommend everyone to visit Taormina and Sicily in general at least once in their life. You will not regret it. 😉

Great location. A short bus+walk away from the car park which was super convenient for us. The hotel is right on the Main Street in Taormina, making it perfect for our short stay in the town. Our room had an internal courtyard view so was nice and quiet. Nice decor inside and great, friendly staff.

The mattress was pretty much completely collapsed, didn’t realise until we were actually in bed so couldn’t ask reception to change it. All in all non a crazy uncomfortable night’s sleep but could definitely be better.

Authentic old style Hotel, excellent condition. Staff and owners very pleasant and helpful. extremely centrally located, walk out the door to Main Street Corso Umberto in old town, close to restaurants, Pasticceria and gelato. Easy to park in main parking lot Lumbi. free shuttle bus to old town and just a short walk to hotel. Just a short walk to cable car which brings you to the beach and Isola Bella. beautiful dining room with excellent breakfast.

Not much could be better! would have liked to have been advised of the excellent balcony on the 2nd floor that we eventually found where we had a glass of wine and enjoyed watching all the action on the Main Street.
