This is a charming little oasis of calm in the beautiful city of Lecce, right beside the Porta Rudaie entrance to the historical centre. Thanks to extremely prompt, efficient and very helpful communications from our host Vanesa, checking in was easy, with plentiful free parking right outside. All queries during our stay were also answered quickly, with excellent restaurant recommendations thank you! Self service breakfast was great and the room was very clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly too! The little plunge pool for the 2 rooms , with towels provided,was very welcome on with the heat of the city and after our day trips. Ideal location for both a city break in Lecce, and for driving out to visit the rest of this part of Puglia.

There was nothing we didn’t like, and we would not hesitate to return!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Casa MaHe. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the centre of Lecce. Parking on the street was free and easy (busy at certain times but you can always find a space nearby). Our room was clean and comfortable with towels provided. Vanessa was very efficient at communicating before check-in, she provided all the information we needed and also shared some local restaurants recommendations. Alessio couldn’t do more for us during our stay, he was a wonderful host while Vanessa was away. The light breakfast available was a lovely extra that we hadn’t expected (tea, coffee, juice, yoghurt, toast etc).

The next door neighbours were a little noisy at times.

- very cozy and comfortable room, especially the bed was like a cloud *-* - lot of free parking options nearby - just a short walk the city - good WiFi - nice outside area (we couldn't use it because of bad weather) - Check-in via key box the outside area and kitchen/dining area is shared with a second room

- the neighbours were during the day noisy (seemed a bit like under construction) - the bath had some signs of water damage from the past - included breakfast is very limited (Toast, honey, Nutella, cookies, bananas, plums) - unfortunately not as good as other people described

This is a true gem. Vanesa has created an oasis in Lecce. The space is beautiful, airy, and thoughtfully decorated with natural materials. It is not cookie-cutter, Vanesa has clearly put so much love and thought into her space. More importantly, we loved staying with and getting to know Vanesa and her daughter. We were greeted with so much warmth, we quickly felt at home. Between the proximity to the old city, great restaurants, the comfortable bed and luxurious shower, the pool to cool off in, and the sweet chats with Vanessa and her daughter, we loved every minute of our stay and even ended up staying one extra night. We hope we can come back soon!

Easy to find Convenient for discovering Lecce and within walking distance of train station. Vanessa was really friendly and made you feel very comfortable in her b and b. Lovely room, fantastic shower, lovely splash pool and a seating area outside for each of her rooms. Stay on a Saturday night and you will get lovely pancakes for breakfast ! We arranged an earlier check in and our room was ready. Otherwise we would have been able to leave our luggage. Thanks to Vanessa for making our stay in Lecce memorable.

Everything - location, comfort, breakfast, etc. Vanesa is a phenomenal host, an interesting person to speak with and she gives great recommendations. For instance, we were heading to Otranto for a day, and instead of going where Google Maps suggested, Vanesa suggested a better, more scenic route. Things like that make your stays worthwhile in my opinion.

If I were to give one criticism, it would only be that the room got a little hot through the night, so maybe just requires some more ventilation. This did not wreck our stay at all though, just a tiny criticism. We still slept very well!

Everything. Vanessa and her family were so helpful. The accommodation was beautiful as is the plunge pool courtyard. Breakfast was delicious with Lecce pastries every morning. The accomodation is right beside the old town so a perfect location. We were sorry to leave.

Casa MaHe feels like home! Beautiful place with a lot of attention to detail. Perfect place to relax, explore Lecce and the area! Easy parking (for free) and most importantly: an amazing host - Vanesa! Thank you for your time and tips and tricks and making us feel so welcome :) We would love to come back one day!

Really nice accommodation, really close to the entrance to the old town, and plenty of parking on the street outside. Vanessa was so friendly and welcoming, with plenty of suggestions where to go and where to eat. Pool was really good to relax by at the end of the day. Lecce is a beautiful city and this is a great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

Sometimes hot water didnt work properly (not a huge thing but maybe they may need to check it out)
