It is charming places, close to the old part of Bari and on walkable distance to the train station and intercity bus stop. The most amazing is the host, Carla. She is very responsive and kind lady, providing tasty breakfast and fresh fruit every morning. The big advantage is shared breakfast nook which you can use during a day, so you can prepare yourself a coffee/tea and take some snacks and fruit anytime. Plus each room has its own fridge.

It can be noisy at night due to noisy cars and motorbikes.

I personally don't have breakfast, but my boyfriend does. Based on his feedback, the amount of the breakfast quantity is suitable for 1 person, rather than two. There was no understanding with the owner that it will be a breakfast for one only, so it seems a bit strange. The breakfast was mostly on the sweet side, however, I would like to note that the owner made sure we had coffee, tea, milk and juice every morning. Additionally, she had left some crackers, chips and biscuits to use freely. The owner was also very sweet and accommodating. She doesn't speak English, but we speak a few words in Italian. We managed to use a mix of both languages to understand each other on a basic level. The location is great, very close to the old town and main sights to see. It's also a 15-minute walk to Lidl, if you want some groceries. The bed was very very comfortable, as well as the pillows

One of the main issues we faced there was the humidity in the room and how cold it was. Given we were there at the end of April with plenty of hot days (top/shorts appropriate), when we were in the room, we were freezing. The ceilings are very very tall and there is only one small air-conditioner in the room. It can't warm the room and moreover, when it's turned on, it would smell like mold. The bathroom only has one small window. An instance for how humid it was we would take a shower in the evening and by morning the mirror's fog still hasn't cleaned up, although the window was open all night. The room smelled due to the humidity, and in turn, our clothes started smelling as well.

This was my second stay. I would always stay here when coming to Lecce. The owner is very helpful, she received my luggage for me when it finally got delivered! If you are looking for a place to stay while exploring Lecce and the surrounding area, this place is perfect!

authentic Italian style and decor, that made the room very nice, with all necessities you can think off. There where snacks a plenty and there where served a traditional sweet breakfast but we fortunately got lots of fruit which was very nice. Very homely vibe and the host where very friendly and made you feel like you stayed in their home.

The B&B where located on the ground floor out to a noisy street, so you could hear traffic all through most of the night, so for our part we needed earplugs… the bathroom door was broken so needed a hook to attach.

it was very clean and comfortable and so close to the historic centre. Our host Carla attended to all our needs and was accessible at all times. Highly recommend this b and b.
