Breakfast only opens at 8:30 am so all guests are having breakfast at the same time. It creates some stress for the waitress who does not smile that much. The bed is too soft and it is convex in the middle, very uncomfortable.

Everything!! Eduardo in the morning was the best cappuccino maker and so kind and welcoming. And Serena upgraded us to # 10 a beautiful space after I accidentally booked a room with too many stairs. There is a lift to 10. Highly recommend this room. Living area with extra bed, kitchen and beautiful bedroom. High ceilings. Small balcony with street view. Funky little neighborhood just outside doors of old town Lecce. Perfect. We were able to park with ease everyday outside of property. Inside is a beautiful, relaxing oasis!

Housekeeping was not very thorough but they did clean room everyday.

Wonderful location, easy walk to the old town. Parking available out the front of the hotel so very accessible. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was also cleaned daily. The breakfast was exceptional. Lots of choice and very fresh and we ate in the garden at the back of the hotel, which was shaded and a lovely area. The breakfast was Something we looked forward to every day. Very friendly staff, always happy to help and gave great information about the local area. What to see, best beaches, best local foods, etc

It was a very good surprise to stay in this hotel. we arrived earlier and our host allowed is to leave our bags there and also affered us a breakfast. The bedroom was big and beautiful. They provided all support that was necessary for us. The accomodation is 800m from the old center, is possible to do everything by walk.

When we booked the hotel there was information that the parking was avaible, but there´s no parking there. But our host was very kind and provide all information about where we could parking the car ans was possible to park just in front of the hotel and it was safe.

Palazzo Dei Dondoli was perfect for our family trip to Lecce. Its excellent location, just outside the old town, allowed for easy walking access and convenient car travel. The facilities are outstanding, but the service is truly exceptional. Serena went above and beyond, helping us with travel plans and offering invaluable tips for exploring Salento. Edoardo's amazing breakfast was a daily highlight. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Lecce!

We loved everything.

What a find! I felt like we were living in a palace. I was not prepared for the opulence of what lay behind the red doors. The courtyard was gorgeous, especially in the evening when the lights came on. On arrival Serena walked us to our suite. Absolutely gorgeous! The bedsheets were linen. She also took the time to hand write a list of everything we should do in lecce. Restaurant recommendations too. Free parking on the street. 5 min walk to the old city gate. Leece is a gorgeous Italian town. .

We stayed at the Palazzo for three nights, it was a great base to explore Puglia. It was also an easy 4 min walk to the old town of Lecce. We had a car and there was plenty of free street parking near the Palazzo. The Palazzo is a little hard to find at first as it just has a plaque on the wall beside the front door. The staff were very friendly and explained everything about the Palazzo and also things to do and see in Lecce. They were very patient and answered all our questions. Our room was up three flights of stairs but luckily they had installed a small lift so we were able to send the bags in the lift and we walked up the stairs. Our room was large with a kitchen, eating area, separate daybed area as well as a large bedroom and bathroom. We had lots of French doors on to a balcony so we could open the doors at night and catch a breeze. It did have air conditioning. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I always think beds in Italian hotels look so uncomfortable as they have quite a small hard looking mattress but when you lie in them they are very comfortable. The breakfast was served in a lovely room on the ground floor, there were plenty of options. Lots of sweet treats, the pasticciotto was divine....make sure you try it if you go to Lecce. We had a great stay here and would highly recommend it.

The only thing that could be improved at breakfast is perhaps a toaster and maybe poached eggs. I heard a few people ask for them and I would have loved to have some as well. Not a deal breaker, just a suggestion.

Exceptional property. Wonderful location so close to the old town and with easy, free on road parking. We got caught up in traffic but access was sorted without fuss and the room was immaculate and a welcome sight. We could easily and quickly shower and get out for supper. Communication was still available for suggestions of fabulous restaurants and we had a lovely evening and ate at La Scarpella. The following day we had a great time exploring the city and had a lovely lunch at La Bottega del Corso which I highly recommend. The host could not have been more accommodating and helpful.

Lovely hotel b&b right outside the old city walls with a gorgeous breakfast included. Nice spacious room with a comfortable bed and all the facilities required. Staff were very helpful and on hand for advice. We would stay here again.

It is quite pricy for what it is, however I think this may be the going rate for Lecce. Also we had an ant problem in our room however it was quickly dealt with when we raised it with the staff.

Location was excellent. It was only a short walk to the historic section of town where we spent most of our time, and close to a range of good restaurants. Our room was very good. Very comfortable and on the ground floor with a garden outside. There were places to sit in the garden or on the roof top bar/deck. Breakfast was good, service was excellent. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. Parking on the street outside was easy enough to find. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
