Everything was excellent, especially staff (Annalisa and other employees were very pleasant and nice). They gave us plenty of excellent recommendations for restaurants and everything else.. The place is very clean, peaceful, and with nice lower temperatures compared to Taormina, so you can really enjoy next to beautiful swimming pool. One of the best staff members that we ever had an opportunity to meet (compared to a lot of 5 star hotels we've been) gave this beautiful place additional quality and full recommendations. They are also producers of local food so during your stay you should try these products.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Beautiful pool area and great location if you want to discover the etna. Good stay for a few days, but not for a full holiday week.

Unfortunately the atmosphere is less cozy than the pictures on booking.com suggest. It looks more like a business hotel from the inside and not very charming. The breakfast was disappointing, the food was good but there was not a big variety at all. it was held in a sober room with closed blinds every morning. We didn’t have working WiFi in our room, only sometimes in our bathroom.

After the confirmation of the booking we have been contacted by Annalisa with the needed details for the location and proposals for our dinner. We arrived later because of a bad weather but the welcoming was warm enough. We have been given an upgraded room. Everything spotlessly clean. The bathroom amazing. The view, the present waiting for us from local products, the decoration and of course the delicious dinner in their fantastic restaurant with the best wine cave… Giovanni and Annalisa made their best for a pleasant comfortable and unforgettable hospitality Highly recommended Hope to see you soon

Amazingly beautiful location up in the hills, yet also quite close to some small towns, which is quite convenient. Rooms are modern while retaining a Sicilian style. You can also message them anytime on WhatsApp if you have any questions about the room, or just for more general advice, for example the best parking spots in Taormina. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable.

This is an absolute gem of a small hotel. The hotel is amazing, the staff is extremely helpfull and like family. They will do anything to help you and are so warm and sweet. I am deeply impressed!! Never in my 25 years of traveling the world have I tried anything like this. I have been to so many 5 stars hotels, that doesn't even come close to the service provided by the staff here. The hotel and room are brand new and very nice designed. The pool has a spectacular view of the valley. The area is full of some of the best wineyards and is around 1000 meters above sea level. This gives fresh air and cooling wind that is quite refreshing in the hot summer. The temperature is about 3-4 degrees (C) lower here than that on the valley and beaches. The manager Mr. Sorbello and receptionist Annalisa made us fell like royalty and family at the same time. They set a new very very high standart for the staff of my upcomming travels. The place and the staff was so amazing that during my round trip I actually cancelled a two day stay at the vest of the island, just to return and spend two more days at Santoro. This place gets the very highest recommendations from me and my wife.

Really fantastic and definitely worth a stay (if you’re like us, travelling around Sicily). Staff exceeded way beyond expectations and the restaurant is truly fantastic, superb wine. GREAT breakfast. They helped us organise a tour to a winery nearby and that was also perfect. Swimming pool is definitely on the larger end of what we’ve seen in Sicily. smart TV with all that comes with one. Good parking facilities and nice bathroom. Overall, cannot recommend these guys enough! Quiet and relaxed stay!

You can see that they are trying really hard, and then you want them to succeed with perfection. Some friendly recommendations to get there: add more cozy lights on the slopes to show the beautiful landscape, add some more secluded relax areas outdoors, tell the stories behind the food when served (it would add to the experience). One other note: there were quite a few children when we were there, but maybe that’s the due to the season. In conclusion: we loved it.

Beautiful place at the wine region of Sicily. The place is new and very clean, very nice swimming pool and gardens. The food was amazing at the restaurant. It is a very small hotel so it is very calm and quiet. Above all the service we got from amazing Annalisa was above any expectations, she helped us so much at everything we where needed.

It located at the countryside so must have a car. I would recommend to the place to put some indoor comfortable sitting areas lake a lobby, so it will be possible to relax when it's cold out side

Beautiful facility with incredible views of Etna landscape. Brand new rooms, very clean. Amazing swimming pool with a view in the midst of Etna nature Annalisa, the Property Manager, was just great and made our stay very pleasant.

Breakfast was to die for! Daily fresh and local products and great selection of items in their restaurant (Ruvi). Staff was very courteous and super helpful.

you need a car to travel around etna wine country. while the funicular train runs near the property, schedules are opaque and timings are infrequent. Rent a car.
