This is a lovely old house owned and run by Atilia. She made this stay such a lovely experience. You feel like a friend being welcomed to her home. The pool and garden were such a treat in the very hot weather. I stayed with 2 friends sharing one room. I was here for breakfast on the morning of my birthday and it was so special.Thank you Atilia for the lovely bubbly and to my friends for arranging a lovely cake for breakfast! The location is great - just a short 5/10 minute drive or taxi into central Lucca.

Lovely place! Rooms large but a bit basic perhaps, but that suits the entire place's laid back atmosphere very well, a home away from home instead of the average clinical mass hotels, Owner Atillia is always ready to help you out and presents a wonderful extensive home made breakfast each day, and virtually anything is possible. Good and safe free parking space nearby.

Hot water in the shower came and went a bit. Quite a walk to the old city center of Lucca (40 mins) but there are free parking facilities near the city walls so no problem.

The location was only 5 minute drive to the old centre of Lucca. The garden area was lovely and the pool clean and well maintained. The property had character as it was converted from an old monastery

It would have been nice to have some essentials for the kitchen such as dishwasher tablets, cling film/tin foil, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar etc. The kitchenette did however have a full range of accessories

Huge house 10 min by car from Lucca. Our room was really big with a comfy bed and all the facilities needed. We also relaxed at the swimming pool in the garden, perfect to get some fresh!! And the breadfast was delicious, all homemade and super tastefull. 100% recommended, the owner really took care of us!

What a great host, she was just wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was like from a mom - on a garden of the property, so cool and romantic. The reconstructed monastery has a huge soul. Really lovely place to stay ❤️.

Parking is not available, we had to drive around for 15mins to find one spot. Poor lighting in the basement room. Otherwise very good ;)
