A traditional building, it had some nice features and we liked the quirky paintings! The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Stella (lady originally from Taiwan) Plentiful breakfast, lots of choice and quality items. Our bed was large and comfortable, room a reasonable size. Room was clean, plenty of towels. Aircon worked well. Parking right outside-but only three spaces, so may have to park nearby (easy enough) Walking distance to the city-flat all the way.

Only negative was some noise from other guests (walls thin but an old building) and angle of shower doors made it a bit awkward to get in and out.

The decor was absolutely gorgeous like something from a film and all the bedding was so soft and the paintings added such a charm to the property, we had a lovely view from our window and were greeted by a delicious breakfast in the morning for only €8 each :)

There were some issues with the water in our bathroom sometimes the shower would just stop running whilst you were in it and sometimes the toilet wouldn’t flush other than that it was a delightful stay :)

Corte dei folletti is just as enchanting as its name suggests: hidden into an unsuspecting building and magic on the inside. The high wooden ceilings are paired with beautiful furniture pieces mostly made of wrought iron and solid wood and the bricks walls are filled with paintings of some of the cutest inhabitants of the fairy worlds hand made by artists. The luminous patio, accessible through the entrance hall, is enclosed amongst the privacy of high walls and features a lovely garden with a fountain. The size of the place makes it just as calm and intimate as a rental apartment but with the extra feature of being cared for by the kind and lively personnel that makes the magic of the hosting arts come true. Corte dei Folletti had me sweet dreams assured.

Such a wonderful place to stay in Lucca, the hotel was whimsical and fun and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast was delicious. There is a pizza restuarant directly accross the street and the "walled city" was a 20 minute walk with lots of shops and restaurants along the way. Thank you for a lovely time!

March is very rainy, I wish we would have waited until April or May to visit.

It was nice and cool. It was charming. We loved the goblin theme and artwork on the walls. The hostess Simona was incredibly helpful and booked a very good restaurant for us. She also pointed us in the direction of a local launderette - which did a stellar job. We enjoyed the walk into Lucca - about 15minutes - it’s better to be here than inside the old walled town - impossible to park or drive easily inside the old town. The breakfast was very good - and there is also a nice cool green garden to the rear of the property- great place :-) !

We arrived later than the closing hour but the staff arranged and gave us all the details for getting to our room without problems, really appreciated. Room and bathroom were clean and well equipped.

We slept with our window open (1st floor) and smoke came in from the people smoking downstairs in the yard. Make sure you have some mosquito repellent if you want to sleep with the window open.

Very nice room with bathtub in a bedroom. Perfect for romantic getaways.

I understand that this is B&B but lack of a person on the reception through the whole day can be problematic. We wanted to order a taxi to the center and taxis company were hanging on us, each time they were hearing english language. We couldn't ask for a help at the reception because nobody was there. But this is just a small remark. Everything was perfect and I highly recommend this place :)

The breakfast was the very best thing we had. It had everything we needed and was very fresh. The young lady working at that hour was lovely. The rooms are ok and we slept very well. Of course the wall features where you see the bricks are awesome. The garden is lovely.

It's a very small building. The stairs are very tight and the breakfast area is small as well. The bathroom was very big but the shower was too small. It was strange to have that much space and not use it in the shower.

The Italian bath in the room was amazing. The room is cosy, with a good mix of stones and wood. The bed is comfortable. The team contacted us to give us the instructions for the check-in. The wifi works well. We really appreciate having a kettle with tea, coffee, cappuccino and biscuits. The small garden is beautiful. We can't hear any noise from the road from our room.

The water for the bath was not very hot.

It is very charming and whimsical with a beautiful garden with a pond, decorative red fish, and a cat:). The lady at the recent was very kind and adjusted the breakfast menus to accommodate our requests. The cappuccino was absolutely excellent! Lucca is more interesting than expected, we recommend a day there for all attractions.
