Roomy and well equipped. Would have been great for a family. The location was very pretty and full of birds as the name suggests. The owners were very kind and helpful, even giving me a lift into town. Also the breakfast option was very useful for the first morning.

Without a car it is a little inconvenient, but very doable. If you’re careful with the buses, you can get one a couple of times a day from very near the place, otherwise it’s a 15 minute walk down the roads (which do have footpaths though, just about).

Margherita is a wonderful friendly lady. We arrived very late travelling from Pisa, but we had told her and were able to WhatsApp her and got the key from a safety box outside the b&b. The room was big, beautiful with a very comfortable bed and bathroom, with gorgeous views of the fields and hills. The cleaningles was top. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was fresh with lots of sweet options, muslie, cheese and ham. Nice bread, and tea and coffee, made fresh to order. The car park is outside the b&b and it is very easy to reach from the airport, but if you are arriving at night we would recommend you take the motorway. Google directed it us to a secondary road from Pisa, and if you are not used to drive in Italy, it can be a bit hard. Lucca is a lovely town with great unique shops, from fabulous food to clothing and leather goods. The centre is small and easy to see in 1 day, but definitely very good to use as a base to see northen Tuscany. We are definitely going to stay at Le rondini again. It was very good value for money. Margherita is helpful and runs a great facility.

- Location is not central but we knew that when we booked it. You need a car to reach Lucca city center - No elevator so it is a little bit challenging to reach your room if you have big suitcases or mobility issues

Very comfortable and spacious. Easy to handle the air conditioner and the temperature in the room. Beautiful and decorated with good taste, really cosy apartment. Self and easy check-in procedure and good communication with the host. The only downside if there is one is the distance from the old town, about 40 mins walking. But you know it beforehand; it's very suitable with a car, since it has free parking and you can also find free parking outside the walls (~10-15 mins from the old town). Really recommend it.

The stay was very nice, and the hostess was very kind.

We were on the third floor and beings I was staying with my mother I wish I would have known there was so many stairs. It was and excellent stay though. We still gave them a ten out of ten.

The owner tried to make everything as good as possible Breakfast was tailored to our needs and the owner sent us information on local reaturants which proved useful

This is a true gem. We were warmly welcomed by the manager, who was always ready to help us with any questions. The house is truly beautiful and original. It is located in a rural area at 2.5 km from Lucca. To visit Lucca, take the car and park along the medieval wall of the city.

Very good place where to stay with family and friends. Very clean, cozy, light rooms. It's possible to ask for simple italian style breakfast served in the morning, a good option if you don't want to go to a cafe. It's a very good place if you have your own car, free parking.

Everything was great! Room was really nice and clean with plenty of character. Host was mostly helpful and really lovely! We really enjoyed our stay! Very good breakfast as well!

Sometimes the WiFi was little unstable.

This is a lovely place with a very friendly, helpful owner. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed, the WiFi is excellent. Initially we didn't book breakfast but added it on when we got there. Well worth the extra €5 euros each. The walk to Lucca town talks about 25 mins at a leisurely pace.
