The location and view was great. Bus straight outside the door every 20 minutes to downtown Sorrento. We went down most nights for dinner as atmosphere in Sorrento was fantastic. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice for dinner (we stayed eight nights) and the steak was very good. Rooms were lovely. I was on the second floor and two elevators to rooms. Pool was very good for a hotel pool. On the roof with bar and meals. Staff were always very helpful and friendly. Cleaning of rooms was immaculate. Bus from train station was great. Dropped us off right outside the front of the train station from the front of the hotel when we were leaving. We didn't realise this on arrival in Sorrento and it was 50 Euros for the taxi vs Euros 2 for the bus

The hotel was absolutely stunningly beautiful, so so pretty with huge comfortable rooms with old school charm and gorgeous decoration. Very comfortable and stunning views. All the staff were just fantastic and owners could not do enough for you, we had amazing serving staff at breakfast, the bar staff by the pool made gorgeous cocktails and the best snacks! The perfect place for sundowners on the roof terrace as beautiful views of capri..rooms were kept immaculately clean and the restaurant staff served delicious food always with a smile and lovely warm atmosphere.. A special mention to Francesco who works the night shift in reception. What a lovely man! The welcome we got on arrival by him assisting to stop traffic and park the car, from arranging trips and recommending little coves and beaches and places to eat just his warm personality helped make our holiday very very special! Thank you all :-) we will be back as soo as we can! Go to this hotel if you’re visiting the Amalfi coast it’s just honestly an absolute gem❤️

Absolutely nothing not to like.

Everything! This is a superb, family-run hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Anna and Lucia in reception and Rafael in the dining room, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, decorated in Mediterranean colours. Bellavista is well named, we loved having breakfast each morning looking over the bay to the island of Capri and watching the sun set over Ischia from the rooftop bar. A great breakfast buffet and a dining menu with lots of excellent dishes. A bus stop immediately outside the hotel made it easy getting into Sorrento or Massa Lubrense. Many thanks to the Francischiello family and staff for a memorable stay 😊

I don't know if I've ever stayed at a nicer hotel. The staff were amazing and so helpful. They assisted with booking trips to Amalfi and Capri. Whatever we needed they provided, the breakfast was amazing. The views were unbelievably amazing overlooking the water and seeing Capri in the background from the patio, it was spectacular. It was a perfect location to Sorrento and getting to Amalfi. If you were looking for a phenomenal place to stay, that's super convenient with amazing staff, services and view. This is the place. Can't thank the staff enough and highly highly recommend.

There wasn't one thing that we didn't like. It was all amazing.

After traveling by train, then shuttle, we were worn out and looked it. The gentleman at the front desk said, "We will take care of you and help make any arrangements needed to get you to your upcoming activities". They were wonderful. The room had a view of Capri, beautiful. We thought we were in heaven after the in town hotel we had in Rome. The last evening, we got massages, best we've ever had. Lovely place. Wish we had the time to take advantage of all it's amenities.

We loved the breakfasts but not in love with the dinners we had chosen. On our last night, my daughter chose something she just couldn't eat and she is not that picky. She told the waiter that we had had before and who had been very nice, that she couldn't eat it. He was not happy. Didn't say let me get you something else, nothing. They kind of avoided us and my daughter lost her appetite. They gave us the bill and didn't take off the meal that was barely touched. She asked for them to do that and they did so. So much for the good relationship we had with the wait staff.

This is a gem of a hotel, with views across to Capri wonderful staff a beautiful roof top pool serving drinks and food, Spa and an authentic restaurant serving fresh pasta, fresh sea food which was always delicious. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and it takes about 15 minutes into the centre of Sorrento. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We were originally given a ground floor room which didn't have the best balcony asked to be moved which was done straight away, best to ask for 1st or 2nd floor rooms.

Loved the view and the pool area was fantastic

Restaurant staff were lovely initially but the final meal we had there was a different gentleman there who not only got our order wrong but also others. He argued with everyone that they were wrong which is not something I would expect. We asked him to let it be but he continued until we eventually left.

The rooftop pool is fantastic, and everyone who works at the hotel, from the pool bartenders to the front desk staff to the cleaners, is lovely and welcoming. Rooms were very clean, and you can tell the building is well cared for. We loved raising the shutters every morning and seeing Capri out the window. In spite of facing the road, our room was pretty quiet at night (although my partner did sleep with earplugs). There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel to take you into Sorrento (about a 10-minute ride). Very robust breakfast every morning.

The beds were very firm, which we encountered at several hotels in Italy; adding a thicker mattress pad or featherbed would do wonders!

Great views, particularly from the pool deck. Bed was comfortable, good showers. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful Housekeeping was flexible, efficient and thorough Pool was amazing, clean and sunny Restaurant food was quite good Location is great on the main road away from Sorrento

Tv was difficult to use, a lot of the channels didn’t work. The bottom floor rooms were quite loud with doors open, you could not have the balcony doors open due to traffic noise (I think it was mainly reverberation of the noise on the hard walls) The property was slightly dated, there are some areas that would benefit from upkeep and painting. A shuttle into town (with small fee) would make this hotel amazing. Sauna facility should be included in room fees

This hotel was the highlight of our trip. Incredible people working, very nice and polite. Rooms are large, spacious and clean. We had an amazing view too! Breakfast was great, you can find something for everyone. Parking is conveniant. Pool was heavenly, just no words, we are already planning our next visit. All in all really great place on Amalfi Coast, worth a stay

Only one thing we would like, a better gym would be amazing, but still, for us experience was superb.
