Beautiful property surrounded by fruit trees, in a peaceful location with incredible views from the room and the pool. The room had lovely decor and felt light and airy. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and we had dinner one night which was also fantastic. Every single member of staff goes out of their way to be kind and helpful.

It is hard to find anything negative about our experience. The only thing we can think of is that the shuttles are at certain times and they don’t always work with ferry/train times so if you are going to be dependent on the shuttles, you need to plan your day around them.

I am someone who did a lot of research before choosing a hotel and chose the Palazzo del Barone because of its rating and excellent reviews. And I was able to confirm EVERYTHING I said. I will point out exactly everything: starting with the people who are AMAZING. Everyone is extremely friendly and good-humored. Barbara is always very kind, the breakfast guy and the dinner guy too (I don't remember his name), always very kind. The room is very nice with a beautiful view, incredible view. Daily room cleaning and impeccable. Very complete and delicious breakfast. I also suggest you have dinner at the hotel a few days, because the food is very tasty, we had dinner 3 times and everyone was very Chinese. There is always a different chef who makes the dishes of the day. If you have more time at your stay, I suggest taking a cooking class, because it is a different attraction, but if you have a little time, I suggest enjoying the Amalfi Coast more. One more detail: it is a little far away (15 minutes from Sorrento), but they offer transfers all day long, both to and from Sorrento (practically every hour, and even then they leave the time flexible, sometimes to be arranged with the guest). For those who want to enjoy the coast, I recommend renting a car so you have more freedom, and to the islands you can take a ferry leaving from Sorrento, it is very easy. For those of you who are reading this review, you can stay at this hotel without fear. I am demanding and I questioned myself in every aspect. It may seem like an exaggeration, but my stay was really complete. They deserve all the praise. I would stay here again and I will recommend it to my friends. - The hotel was amazing, the staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast every morning was lovely and freshly made to order. The hotel is very small which I liked and the rooms were clean and ours had a lovely balcony with a sea view.

- The hotel is far out from Sorrento centre but the hotel puts on a bus service in the morning down to Sorrento and then pick ups in the late afternoon till evening which was really helpful as taxi’s were very expensive!

The property was amazing , well maintained , clean . Rooms were also very well designed and comfortable with an outstanding balcony . The property has a very homely feeling while having the hospitality and services of a hotel. They serve you breakfast in your room which is very well plated and curated and is absolutely delicious . While being about 10-12 min away from the city centre which could cause a bit of a problem In travelling , they have complimentary shuttle services every half hour to take the guests too and fro city centre and hotel. This saved us a lot of money in transportation. The shuttle service is on time , the cars are clean and well maintained and the drivers are very helpful and friendly . Among all the fabulous things about the property mentioned above , what truly stood out for us was the hospitality of the staff . They were extremely helpful and friendly . They helped us with a very easy check in , check out . They contacted us two days before the check in on WhatsApp and were available 24/7 on WhatsApp to assist us with everything that we needed. I am in no way related to the property , this is truly an unbiased review . I generally do not review hotels unless I truly have a great experience , and this was one of them.

Our room has exceptional view of Naples, though we didn't get to see it clearly the first day and a half due to fog. The weather cleared up the following two days and we were lucky enough to enjoy both sunset the night before and sunrise the night after. The breakfast and dinner were very good. We had a rental car and the staff helped us get the car in and out of the garage through the extremely narrow street. To visit downtown Sorrento, we took advantage of the free shuttle service.

We didn't expect the street to be so narrow that it would only fit one car. The garage was next to a T shaped dead-end and we were petrified having one car behind us when we get to the end and another car coming from the right. Fortunately, the staff was quick to come to our rescue and helped communicate with the other two drivers and direct us to the garage.

that moment when you book a hotel to explore sorrento, but end up spending almost all the time in a hotel, because it's just so enjoyable! I traveled with family and everyone loved our stay. the breakfast is tasty, the dinners were absolute delight! the view and the swimming pool are breathtaking. this hotel is on my list of fav spots for sure. if you're consideing to stay in amalfi coast, this hotel is a winner. added bonus is a shuttle to the city and back. thank you for our amazing stay!

Lovely boutique hotel, room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was amazing and evening meal great. Staff very friendly and pool area with great views. The free shuttle to town was very helpful. The little dogs were a bonus!

Unfortunately our aircon did not work and we had to chase a lot to get this sorted, after night 3 they arrived with a portable air con unit. They did bring us complimentary drinks for the inconvenience but giving the price we paid some compensation would have been nice. The bathroom is lovely but the shower light did not work and the layout of the shower door was not practical.

The view of Vesuvius and the bay of Naples was phenomenal. A wide range of breakfast choices which were all very tasty. Dinner was the best food me and my partner have eaten! The staff were all very welcoming and attentive - nothing was too much for them. The cooking school at the hotel is an absolute must, so much fun and get to make some great food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit the Amalfi Coast area.

We stayed at the Palazzo del Barone for our honeymoon for 2 nights, but we wished we could have stayed longer! Prior to our stay here we were in Amalfi, and so this was a very nice change from the busy tourist location we had stayed in. The resort is located in Priora, which is a 30-35 minute walk from the town of Sorrento (there is a shortcut path through the lemon groves - we absolutely loved taking this path). There is a shuttle service that runs every hour so we would usually take the shuttle from Sorrento back to the resort so that we didn't have to walk up hill! The shuttle driver was always on time and very flexible. We loved how we had our own privacy at the resort, yet the staff was always available when needed. Lucy was great!! She really made our stay! Palazzo del Barone is a quaint resort with only six rooms but that is why we loved it so much. Each room is uniquely decorated. Ours had not 1 but 2 balconies, both of which had an incredible view. We loved sitting out at night overlooking the pool and sea. The room was quite big, had a mini fridge, included all of the essentials (shampoo, conditioner, etc), and the bed was very comfy - we had our best sleeps here! Breakfast was AMAZING - very fresh with tons of options to choose from. We loved the omelettes and the nutella pancakes. The chef is excellent! We didn't have time to do a cooking class but would love to book one in the future as we heard amazing things. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable! We look forward to coming back in the future!

Friendly attentive staff, excellent service, shuttle service into/back from Sorrento, luxury products and comfortable accommodations, beautiful view and gardens, lovely pool, delicious dining, exceptional included breakfast, numerous special touches that enhanced the stay. We didn’t have enough time to schedule a cooking class, but it seemed amazing in transit.

Without sounding too American, less than 50% communicated well in English. Made direction/route finding challenging. I recommend asking for a pin drop of shuttle stops and for arrival/hotel location. Entrance road is not easily accessible by standard car.
