The location was quiet and peaceful with an incredible balcony view of Mount Vesuvius and Sorrento. On a clear day, we could see the crater at the top of Vesuvius. Lovely to sit on the terrace at night under the starry sky. The staff were lovely and friendly, made us feel very welcome. One particularly great restaurant nearby called Trattoria de Luciano. The room was big and bright, window view was beautiful and aircon worked great. Cakes at breakfast were delicious and staff will also make you some eggs. The amazing view from the terrace alone is worth the stay. The area is very quaint and local so would recommend you hire a car or have some transport to get around. There is a bus into Sorrento or a 30 minute walk via a cobbled stepped path down the hillside. However if you walk you might want to get a taxi back up.

The wall between our room and the next room was quite thin so it was possible to hear them watching television or moving around at night time.

Out of town location on the mountain side with spectacular views. Easily accessed by bus (choice of 2) from Sorrento Station. If you miss it there's a nice 30 minute walk up (tough) to Priora or down (preferable and slightly quicker) to Sorrento. The sisters were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was more than adequate with a choice of eggs and homemade cakes etc to start your day. Our room was huge, very clean and comfortable - we slept really well. The common areas and garden were beautiful and peaceful, ideal for relaxation.

This my 3rd stay at Oasi Marde della Pace, and I am really glad to had the same warm hospitality of the Sisters that I met during my first visit there. We choosed this place for the uniqe location in the upper area of Sorrento and the unique gardens around the guesthouse. Also, I would like to highlight the nice breakfast and the freshly pressed orange and citrus juice, which were produced from the daily harvested fruits right from the Sorrento hillsides.

Although it was early spring, our room on the top floor lacked central heating, and the air conditioning unit did not affect the temperature since it did not have a heating function. As a result, we had to rely on the extra blankets for warmth during our stay. Additionally, I have noticed that this charming yet rurally modest and humble guesthouse has significantly increased its prices over the past three years. My feedback is based on three stays in the same type of room during the early or late season.

It was an amazing place, with the view of Vesuvius over the bay of Naples in the background. And the staff? This place is run by a few catholic nuns. What do you expect? My daughter already wants to visit again next year :)

It is a bit removed from the Sorrento center, so if you have a car, it is no issue. But, as we traveled by bus, which by the way is not always punctual, it could be an irritant. But, on the positive side, you have the opportunity to hike up and down while absorbing the beautiful views of the bay and Vesuvius from the serpentine mountain side roads passing by beautifully decorated local gardens with orange orchards.

Big room. Nice B&B. Beautiful view from terrace. Breakfast was ok. Aircon good. Working with codes instead of keys, which is nice. Enough room for parking. Steep uphill for a few meters, but doable. Not a lot of noise at all, so that was great.

Pillows hard. Room doesn't get fully dark as there are only shutters no dark curtains. Bathroom light went automatically on with the fan which was annoying in the night. Breakfast was a bit simple. Location is 20 minute downhill from centre. 30 minutes uphill (quite steep ajd dark).

The sister's were very helpful with explaining about the bus times and how to get to sorrento and back . The rooms were clean and had fresh towels everyday. The views from the terrace were fantastic. The gardens are lovely to walk around, have a few animals there such as a goat, chickens and peacocks.The breakfast was very good value , €5 per person

Very steep hill to the property if you don't have drive or have a disability. Quite far from sorrento centre as you need to get a bus or taxi there and back.

The view is astounding! From the terrace, you can see the bay, the sunset, the Vulcan and Pompeii. The room is spacious and the nuns are very accommodating. We had a tour booked and they anticipated the breakfast time for an earlier hour, so that we could eat.

The property is away from the Sorrento train station. So, if you don’t have a car and need to rely on public transportation, be aware that the buses are not reliable and they might not stop for you if the bus is already full. There is no handicap access to the place.

This location is a convent run by very sweet & especially helpful nuns. Sister Anna was very gracious. She gave us a ride to town when we had to be at pickup location early. The location is up hill in Priora off a main road. At the end of the driveway is a bus stop which runs frequently to the city of Sorrento for 1.4€ one way (abt 10 min). A breakfast is provided daily 8-9:30 am. The room was very modest (it's a monastery room). There is an outdoor rooftop patio that overlooks the sea. Quiet area. Taxi from train station was 45€. There is an elevator at the convent. No TV in the room, but in Italy we were out of the room most of the day. Wi-Fi.I didn't realize

I didn't realize when I made booking that it was uphill from the city - I thought we would be able to walk. Not a good idea - the main road is very busy and very tight!

The view from the balcony was amazing. Sisters were very very friendly, accommodating and attentive. No trouble to ask for extra pillows, I sent a message via the booking.com app to ask for more pillows, when we got back to the room they were there. Three of us stayed in a triple room, there was plenty of space. Lots of car parking. We were sorry we couldn't say goodbye, we couldn't see anyone around when we left - thank you for having us!

The light in the bathroom, it was on a sensor. During showering it kept going off, we had to keep opening the shower door to turn the light on. There are no windows in the bathroom so it was very very dark.

My room was quiet and comfortable, modest in size but perfectly fine for a solo traveller staying for just a few nights. Breakfast is available on the premises for a small fee. The view from the terrace out across Sorrento and across the Gulf of Naples is spectacular.

The accommodation is located outside the centre of Sorrento in a very hilly location, so it's challenging to get to and from without a car or scooter. It's possible to walk downhill into town, but unless you're up for a steep and long walk you need to get transport to return. Buses aren't particularly frequent so you need to plan carefully. Or there's taxis. However I found questions about transport were answered promptly and helpfully by the accommodation which was a great help!
