Maison Lauren is located in a central part of Sorrento. It is close to the port area and the train/bus terminal is within walking distance. It is one block from the pedestrian street Corso Italia. Corso Italia is full of shops, restaurants and bars. Anything you might need or want during your visit to Sorrento is close by. Honestly, the best things about Maison Lauren are Simona and Carlotta and our room. We stayed in the Red room,and it is lovely. Simona is the owner/concierge who met us when we arrived and was helpful about giving us many excellent suggestions about places nearby. Carlotta is the housekeeper who tidied our room everyday. Thank you Simona and Carlotta. We loved our room. It was spacious and clean, and offered views of the hillside and the Bay of Naples from the wrap-around patio. We had a wonderful and memorable stay at the Maison Lauren.

The only thing I can think of is the building's elevator was quite slow. That being said, we really appreciated having an elevator when we needed to carry heavy luggage to and from our room.

Simona was such a great host, all of her staff were super responsive and Simona went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. She even offered to drive me with her scooter to the laundromat, she is super super helpful and kind. The rooms were beautiful, they were new and colorful and vibrant and a beautiful experience, there is chromatherapy in the shower which we thoroughly enjoyed. The view from all the rooms is also beautiful. I would stay here again without blinking an eye and I will be recommending Maison Lauren to all my friends and family. The apartment is beautiful and very clean with many personal touches and artistic design. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking etc. We really enjoyed the view from the terrace and often sat there for dinner or sunset! Simone is an excellent host and gave great advice on things to do and places to eat. The location was perfect, close to everything, and only needed taxi when we traveled to/from with a lot of heavy luggage. We would definitely recommend staying here for a vacation to Sorrento with access to Capri, Ischia, Naples, and Amalfi coast.

Wonderful location at the edge of downtown Sorrento. Our host, Simona, was so incredibly helpful, annotating a map with tailored restaurant and beach recommendations. The room is beautiful and charming, with a wraparound balcony and a small day bed (great for lounging post-beach/adventure but pre-shower). All in all, a fantastic stay!

This was mostly on us, but we found the light switches confusing to use. You need to leave your room key in a slot to activate the lights and the AC, which led to some difficulty at bedtime when we weren’t sure how to turn out the lights without also losing our AC. I’m sure Simona would have helped us immediately if we’d asked, so consider this more of an FYI than a criticism! Another thing from our lack of knowledge of sorrento—I expected this area to be super quiet because it’s at the edge of Sorrento’s main area, but it’s by a fairly busy traffic circle, so there was some noise. Nothing bad, just noticeable sometimes.

Maison Lauren was the perfect homebase for my friends and I on our trip to Sorrento! The hotel itself is comfy and spacious enough for the three of us to be comfortable the whole time. The balcony was beautiful, we loved to spend our time there on evenings. It also had a beautiful view of the ocean! It was super close to the Main Street with all of the restaurants and shops. Also only a short ways away from the beach clubs, ferry, and bus/train stops.

The aesthetics, looks great and in a fantastic location, the hosts were lovely. A lift which is important.

The provisions could have been better. Staying a lot in hotels, a nicer kettle, coffee machine, iron (which they did once asking for it )are really the standard. I would have expected a toaster and bit more of a kitchenette being an bnb. I was certainly disappointed with the breakfast that was included and really would expect a lot more including fruits nuts, fresh juice. I do believe they were stopping breakfast the last day we were. Breakfast basket with 2 sandwiches were left and a cold brew coffee because it was to early we had to catch the ferry (8:00) overall a great snap shot of Sorrento although next time I would look for a property with a pool as it was sooooo hot.

Great apartment! It was very clean, fun decor, great location, and perfect size for a family of 4. Our host, Simona, was extremely friendly and helpful (with booking tours/ car service etc) and very responsive before and during our stay.

We loved it -not an issue but a couple of suggestions : perhaps a mattress pad/topper for those who like a less firm mattress and a more tradition coffee pot (instead of kettle).

Maison Lauren is a cheery, lovely, comfortable place in a good spot in busy Sorrento. The location is perfect for walking around the tourist area. The staff is friendly and very helpful with a map and dinner recommendations. The room was big, very clean, pretty and light filled. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This isn't Maison Lauren's fault, but parking is difficult in Sorrento. I recommend you call ahead with the goal of driving to the apartment and dropping off your luggage with the staff before parking! Once you get to the parking lot, it is a climb up a set of stairs to street where the building is located. We used google maps to find the building (the sign is small and not easy to spy as you are driving along) but we also should have thought ahead to get directions to parking, too.

The room was tastefully decorated, spacious, spotlessly clean and had good sized wardrobe and drawers. The bathroom was immaculate complete with drench shower. We liked the wrap around balcony that provide both a sea view and views over the Main Street. It was equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs. The property also had a small lift, which was necessary given our top floor location. The staff were extremely polite and very helpful.

The only thing we found disappointing was the lack of a fridge in the room.

First thing we've noticed getting into to the room was an amazing smell:) we immediately knew this was a good place. The rooms were just beautiful, with comftorable beds, and in general it seemed they were in a really good condition, almost new. Vittoria was very nice and attentive and helped us in everything we needed, and even gave us a bit more time in the room after checkout time without extra charge. location is amazing with only 5 min walk to the center of the old city, and even has a parking lot right next to the building ( 25 euros for 24hr) Don't think twice and book your room
