Amazing views and property and the staff are exceptional and so helpful. The shuttle is an amazing service making it so much easier. Truly an amazing place to stay.

Villa Giovanna was clean, quiet, comfortable, beautiful, and convenient due to their free shuttle service. The staff was incredible. They also have a bar that they serve drinks from nightly and a free breakfast (they will make you coffee, eggs, really anything you would want). They also offered to drive us to the train station which was very helpful since taxis are often expensive. Although it is father from the city center, I would choose to stay there again because of how amazing the staff and service was. There is a beautiful view and the shuttle service takes away any inconvenience of being further away from downtown Sorrento. I would 100% recommend Villa Giovanna to anyone who is going to Sorrento.

Very pretty, quiet and peaceful. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, on our last day when my partner was unwell in the morning they allowed us a slightly later check out with no additional charge. A shuttle is available multiple times a day to take you to and from the centre which was great but there is a 10 min hilly walk you can do as well if able which we did a few times and has great views. Nice buffet breakfast and hot breakfast option included. Pool is small but fine for what we needed.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable for us and sunbeds also could do with being updated but we made it work

Very idyllic villa. It's old but charming. I stayed there for 5 nights with my husband. The first room we got was pretty small, so I asked for a room switch, hopefully one with a balcony. Sadly, none was available. But we were moved to a bigger room, with a nice little lounge area that worked out even better. We loved strolling around the gardens and lemon groves and just enjoying nature. It was a lovely stay. Very relaxing, the staff was very accommodating. It was also great that the shuttle was available...though we also walked a couple of times to and from the city just to take in the views. We really enjoyed it there.

I mean, if you are expecting the Ritz, forget it. There were some areas that we felt could use a bit more attention with cleaning or general upkeep. But nothing that got us complaining. The breakfast was the same every morning and could have been a bit more variety. But we didn't mind really.

I liked absolutely everything about Villa Giovanna. The view from my little single room was exceptional, as was the cooked-to-order breakfast each day out on the terrace. The pleasant jumble of old villas, gardens, terraces and patios was pretty and welcoming without feeling unpleasantly posh. The best part was the peace and quiet above the noisy bustle of Sorrento, all easily accessible via a frequent free shuttle service or by an amazingly beautiful (very steep) cobbled path down the face of the mountainside. That same path also let over the top of the mountain for very enjoyable walks between villages. To top it off all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I would have appreciated a slightly more comfortable bed.

We would highly recommend. We felt like we were staying with family. This property is really unique. Great location, beautiful views and great service. Laura, the entire staff and Cloe- the dog were fantastic. Multiple villas throughout with great patios and amazing views. Quiet and peaceful. It’s around a 5 minute drive down the mountain to Sorrento. They provide free shuttle service drop off and picks up- multiple times a day- from 7am to to 11pm. Laura and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had every thing we needed. Great breakfast which is included. G property is

When we first arrived until the minute we left the staff were so helpful and friendly. There was not a single bad thing about this property that we experienced. There is a shuttle service that runs to and from the town which saved us a lot of money over the course of the week and it’s all included in the price. Breakfast is lovely. Staff and friendly. Honestly couldn’t say a single bad thing about the property.

Nothing. I’m a light sleeper so was woken up by barking dogs in a nearby property but this has nothing to do with this property nor was it their fault.

A lovely peaceful location, close to nature, with some excellent views over the bay The shuttle service was frequent and prompt, which meant we could still easily access the nearby town of Sorrento. The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to pick us up from the station on arrival and provide a welcome drink. The room was clean, tidy and the beds comfortable. Good breakfast.

Not much other than the wifi signal was not great from our room and we had to move towards the communal areas where there was a good signal.

Prefer to walk? There’s also a scenic 10-minute walking route waiting to be explored 😀. We will definitely be returning to Villa Giovanna next time we visit Sorrento.
