Breakfast was good with a reasonable range & variety of continental choices. Location was good, a little way out of Sorrento in a semi rural peaceful setting. Views were great over the bay of Naples. Hotel facilities were good, swimming pool\veranda were excellent. Hotel staff & manager were also excellent, very helpful & very friendly, can't praise them enough! Hotel is close to a fairly busy road but with a regular local bus service to & from Sorrento just a few minutes walk away. The hotel has an arrangement with a local restaurant which will pick up & return guests who wish to dine there, which is very good & heartily recommended. Hotel always seemed quiet, uncrowded, spacious & relaxed.

Guests mostly dined away from the hotel for dinner, so the choice & range of evening meals available were understandably limited & basic but this was in part offset by the arrangement with the local restaurant. There were no other aspects which we didn't like.

Beautiful view and friendly staff.

WIFI didn't work at all, cell phone internet connection didn't work either at the hotel area. There was no connection at the hotel. This is something that should work no matter where you are.

Fantastic location with great views over the sea, olive groves, sunsets and Vesuvius. Far enough out of town to be away from the crowds but easy to access via bus when needed. Hotel is obviously not a modern build but has a charm to it and is bright, clean and well maintained. Buffet breakfast was good. Staff were great - friendly and helpful and gave some good advice on places to visit. A lovely place and we were sad we had only a short stay.

Dinner food in the hotel was good but a limited menu which is a shame as it was a nice setting to dine. Staff do assist in finding alternative places for dinner and maybe this changes in high season?

The hotel was clean and the staff were wonderful, very friendly. Breakfast was very nice, as I love continental. Choice also of cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, salad, & sweet pastries. The breakfast room was light and airy, and wonderful views from my balcony. There is a wee bar with a lady who is such a character. Although there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, reception will make you one any time you ask. I had rubbish weather, which they had never seen in May before. Typical.

It is too far a walk from Sorrento, for me with no paths, but this neck of the woods is all windy uphill roads, beautiful scenery though. Good bus service, €2, a short walk to the bus stop, taxi from Sorrento about €25 to €30, although beware on a night, they won't meter it and just charge you €40 or more. The last bus back was 10 pm ish, and he stopped right outside the hotel and shouted we were at the Dania as I had asked him to.

The sea view from the room was beautiful. There was a small balcony as well. the beds were comfortable and breakfast was generous and very good. the hotel is locate about 2km from Sorento, a nice walk but uncomfortable because half of the way does not include a side walk or road margins.

We heard the water pipes close to our heads position on the bed at room 113, unpleasant, especially when the people in room above us had to leave very early in the morning and were rude and loud, so we did not get a good night sleep. This was in a sharp contrast to the view from the room etc.

The property is amazing — very well located, close to a bus stop, which made it easy for my friend and me to reach the beaches and town without a car. The staff is incredible — couldn’t be more polite and helpful, especially José and Tina, who were fantastic with us. The swimming pool is great, and the room was excellent as well. We also had breakfast and really enjoyed it. If I go back to Sorrento I would book again there for sure.

I liked everything

Amazing location and views from the swimming pool and terrace where you can have lunch, dinner or other snacks. Breakfast were good as well, there were enough options whether you want to have eggs , salami fruits or desserts. Easy and fast to get to downtown and port where you can get a ferry to different islands. Personnel was very helpful and polite. The hotel overall is very clean. I would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The hotel exceeded my expectations for the price we paid.

Hotel Dania exceeded our expectations like you wouldn’t believe. It was in the perfect location and absolutely beautiful. Our room was perfect and had the best balcony view over the whole marina and lemon/lime/olive groves. The pool was wonderful and ice cold on a hot day. They had a wonderful bar to order coffees and apertivo throughout the day. Concierge was so so helpful.

I think most hotels in Italy it’s just not the standard to have many toiletries but the only thing I could think of is if there were a few more little toiletries in our bathroom. Other than that this stay was absolutely perfect.

The property was cozy and beautifully decorated, which created a welcoming atmosphere. The room and bed were extremely comfortable, making the stay very relaxing. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and honest—especially José at the front desk, who went above and beyond to assist with everything from trip destinations to restaurant recommendations. The property was also very clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of the stay.

The hotel exceeded my expectations, it isn't fancy, or has a lot of luxury, but it is a great hotel, with an amazing view to Tropea beach. The sunset that you can view from the rooftop is also an plus. The hospitality of the hotel is amazing, Alessando and Marina (the owners of the hotel) welcome was amazing. He picked was up at the train station, and received was with his family . Both always making sure we were okay and comfortable. They didn't speak Portuguese, or English, but we found our way to communicate and even learn some Italian. Which is a plus for travelers hahaha I think is worth the price. and I love how we could experience the warmth of Italian people.

I don't have a lot of complain, but if you don't have a car you have to walk through the beach on the highway, but it was just 5 min walking and we didn't felt scared since it is a small town and everyone knows everyone around there. And we realized it is an Italian thing. They walk a lot . Sometimes that is better than driving.
