Beautiful view and friendly staff.

WIFI didn't work at all, cell phone internet connection didn't work either at the hotel area. There was no connection at the hotel. This is something that should work no matter where you are.

The hotel was clean and the staff were wonderful, very friendly. Breakfast was very nice, as I love continental. Choice also of cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, salad, & sweet pastries. The breakfast room was light and airy, and wonderful views from my balcony. There is a wee bar with a lady who is such a character. Although there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, reception will make you one any time you ask. I had rubbish weather, which they had never seen in May before. Typical.

It is too far a walk from Sorrento, for me with no paths, but this neck of the woods is all windy uphill roads, beautiful scenery though. Good bus service, €2, a short walk to the bus stop, taxi from Sorrento about €25 to €30, although beware on a night, they won't meter it and just charge you €40 or more. The last bus back was 10 pm ish, and he stopped right outside the hotel and shouted we were at the Dania as I had asked him to.

Hotel Dania exceeded our expectations like you wouldn’t believe. It was in the perfect location and absolutely beautiful. Our room was perfect and had the best balcony view over the whole marina and lemon/lime/olive groves. The pool was wonderful and ice cold on a hot day. They had a wonderful bar to order coffees and apertivo throughout the day. Concierge was so so helpful.

I think most hotels in Italy it’s just not the standard to have many toiletries but the only thing I could think of is if there were a few more little toiletries in our bathroom. Other than that this stay was absolutely perfect.

The hotel exceeded my expectations, it isn't fancy, or has a lot of luxury, but it is a great hotel, with an amazing view to Tropea beach. The sunset that you can view from the rooftop is also an plus. The hospitality of the hotel is amazing, Alessando and Marina (the owners of the hotel) welcome was amazing. He picked was up at the train station, and received was with his family . Both always making sure we were okay and comfortable. They didn't speak Portuguese, or English, but we found our way to communicate and even learn some Italian. Which is a plus for travelers hahaha I think is worth the price. and I love how we could experience the warmth of Italian people.

I don't have a lot of complain, but if you don't have a car you have to walk through the beach on the highway, but it was just 5 min walking and we didn't felt scared since it is a small town and everyone knows everyone around there. And we realized it is an Italian thing. They walk a lot . Sometimes that is better than driving.

We highly recommend Hotel Dania. We stayed here whilst visiting Sorrento for our daughter's wedding. Our daughter's room was lovely with a private terrace and fabulous sea view where you can watch the sunset. This was a beautiful, tranquil setting for us to have some family time and to prepare for her special day. My husband and I also had a lovely room with sea view and overlooking an olive grove with Mount Vesuvius in the distance. We found the hotel to be very clean and with fresh, air-conditioned rooms. There is also a hotel car park which is most convenient. The staff are highly professional and friendly. A special 'thank you' to Monica and Tina for their wonderful service at the reception desk. In summary - this is a lovely, welcoming establishment. Grazie mille a tutti! Siete meravigliosi!

Nothing to dislike!

3 star hotel, 5 star staff, unluckily we went during low season so there was no pool. Central location would be ideal because you can count on 30 euro taxi from centre. The staff here were fantastic. Hooked us up with scooter rental, where I was collected for. Sorted out day excursion to capri and collected at hotel, so there was alot done to facilitate the distance out of centre. . Like I said 5 star staff. They are fantastic. Cannot say enough good things about them

Staff all very friendly, receptionist gave lots of useful information about the local area. When we reported a problem with the shower drain, it was fixed straight away. Lot of variety at breakfast and it was very tasty. Link to local restaurant meant we got a free lift back up the steep hill rather than having to walk which was appreciated.

There was a problem with the shower as it wasn't draining and consequently flooded the bathroom in seconds. But this was dealt with very quickly once reported and we had no other issues.

This property felt like staying as a guest in someone’s house rather than just a hotel. The staff was super pleasant offering many suggestions to do in the Sorrento area and directions on how to get around. The snack bar/in-house restaurant was a great value with many delicious options right onsite.

A small lift would be nice for luggage as it was quite a few stairs to climb but we understood that the historical structure of the building had to be preserved.

We had a room with a sea view, it was beautiful every morning we can see the sea from the bed. The staff were very kind and helpful. You can park with car or scooter but you have to pay for it. A little far from the centre but we traveled with scooter, so it was easy. There is a 0-24 reception. The swimming pool is very cool option. We liked a lot! So highly recommended :)

I only had coffee and juice when I made breakfast! Staff made the holiday as really friendly and informative. Day trips from the hotel were good value if a little short on time at venues! Walkable to Paolo beach which was nice as the pool too small for swimming.

I thought it would be walkable into Sorrento , but with no pavements that was too dangerous. Having to get a bus lost spontaneity, but wasn’t hard.
