Location was perfect just a short walk down the road into Sorrento square but far enough away that it was peaceful with perfect sea views from our large terrace over looking the pool aswell as the sea. The room was large, airy and modern. Lovely bathroom and large terrace with sitting area. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Stocked mini bar - but chargeable which we found about on check out. Lovely breakfast with pastries fruit meats cheese etc all very fresh.

Nothing to do dislike this was perfect for our stay.

This was our dream holiday break in Sorrento. The views, balcony, large bathroom, and the large Junior Suite heavenly. Felt so special! Buffet Breakfast and view each morning from the terrace and gardens just perfection. Couldn’t fault the housekeeping. Extremely clean and comfortable. Pool was small but perfect and again that view perfection! Stunning stay for our first time to Sorrento.

Our adult kids had a smaller bedroom with unfortunately aircon issues that never really got resolved. Unfortunate as it was extremely hot. The steep walk up to Hotel from town on narrow busy road the only challenge really but actually, it was all worth it. Definitely needs consideration for mobility issues, young children etc.

The location was perfect!! About 10 min walk to the main square in Sorrento, the views on the way to the hotel were insane! We had a sea view room and we had amazing views from the moment we opened the curtains. Rooms were lovely modern and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful

The only negative I have was our room didn’t have a full length mirror, the only mirror we had was the one in our bathroom above the sink. We also struggled to find plugs in our room. There was only one in our bedroom and one in the bathroom, so I had to charge my phone in the bathroom which wasn’t ideal.

Little gem of a hotel. The view from our room was beautiful and pur room was very spacious even with 3 of us in each room which worked well. Lovely shower in the bathroom and nice and big size. We would all be very happy to return and stay here again. Staff very helpful. Our first time in Sorrento and we were all very happy with our choice of stay which made a wonderful and memorable experience for us all. Dolce Vita !

just be careful walking on the road up or down the hill with no pavement (but easy to get a taxi) few flies circling in the breakfast room area

Spacious room. Large balcony with fantastic view. Wonderful breakfast and bar area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. very good restaurants nearby easy to access on the foot. Highly recommend Radici del Sud for wonderful food and dining experience.

Location is outside Sorrento a bit, 1.5 mi to train station mostly downhill. Access is a challenge, especially on return to hotel. Tried bus system since 2 stops were near the hotel, but EAV buses were not reliable. SITA May be better option. They say every 20 min, but that’s not true. We had 50/50 success. Taxis are expensive IMO, at $25 for 2 ppl one-way.

Amazing views, lovely terrace to watch sunsets from, good buffet breakfast (especially enjoyed the deli meats, the Caprese Salad and the fresh fruit) and food options in the restaurant, very clean. We also loved the shower.

There is no sidewalk on either side of the hotel and as it is on the road curve it can be dangerous. Aircon, although present, could not deal with the June heat at all. More shade areas by the pool would have been good.

This is such a lovely hotel. The view from the outdoor dining area is simply stunning. It's very clean and the decor looks like it's recently been renewed. The bed is also extremely comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a 20-minute walk from Sorrento centre, and the views on the walk down are just beautiful.

The hotel is located on the side of the road and has no footpath. To cross the road to walk down to Sorrento, you have to be very careful with the oncoming traffic.

This is our second time staying at Hotel Miramare- we absolutely love this hotel. All the staff are so kind and helpful, they all really go the extra mile to ensure your stay in Sorrento is perfect. The hotel decor is beautiful and the hotel is clean, our room was cleaned every day with our toiletries topped up and new towels given. The breakfast in this hotel is simple but delicious with top quality food- great selection of pastries, cold meats, cheeses, breads, spreads, fruit, cereals etc. The views of the outdoor dining area are breathtaking, you feel like you have entered a different world- beautiful. The pool area is compact but works well, we have stayed twice now and we have never experienced the pool being to overcrowded. The location of the hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to Sorrento town, a little bit of hill on the way back up but the views of the walk are stunning. Overall I would highly recommended this hotel- it’s a gem! We have already booked are 3rd stay!

Crossing the road can be a little tricky but once you are there a day or two you get used to it. Just keep your wits about you as the hotel is on a bend. When you are crossing the road to get to the town you need to run so if you have any mobility issues it’s definitely something you need to think about when booking this hotel.

Great views overlooking Sorrento. The rooms are modern, spacious and accommodating to three people. Buffet breakfast here is fantastic they even have an espresso machine where I made a hot chocolate in the morning to eat with my caprese salad. Since it’s a small hotel it didn’t feel crowded there at all even in peak season.

The property is built on an old building so it basically touches the road. There is a bend where it is hard to see cars coming. Someone usually needs to stop the traffic so you can cross. But eventually we got used to Italian traffic. Usually if you cross the traffic will circle past you like fishes in the sea.

Hotel Miramare is a beautiful hotel that offers a breathtaking view of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The hotel, itself, is tastefully decorated and to simply describe it as clean does not give enough credit to the housekeeping staff. It was without a doubt one of the cleanest hotels in which we have ever stayed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and enjoying an Aperol Spritz on the terrace with that spectacular view is one of our best memories of our time in Sorrento. Of course, having a great view often requires an elevated location and Hotel Miramare is located fairly high above the town. The walk into the center of town was not a problem even for two senior citizens, and only took about fifteen minutes. However, the walk back to the hotel was too steep, so we took one of the cabs easily found in and around Piazza Tasso. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and have recommended it to friends.
