Great breakfast and the food in the hotel is amazing. The staff were very attentive and knew who you are from the very beginning. The views from the hotel and the bedroom were breathtaking - waking up to Mount Vesuvius and Sorrento every morning was idealic. I will most definately be visiting the hotel again, and I recommend the hotel to everybody.

The only fault I could see with the hotel is that other hotels offered a mini-bus or golf buggy to drop you into sorrento or down at the multiple harbours in Sorrento. Unfortunately Belair didnt offer this. If you want a long walk uphill from the harbours, then this is a little bit of a struggle. So you had to get a taxi which was normally around 25 euros.

This hotel is in a league of its own … the views of the bay and Vesuvius from our room were stunning and were even more spectacular at dusk. The pool area and views are simply beautiful but it is the service, staff and lovely touches like bottled water given to every guest at the pool (with very comfy beds there too) and the leisurely breakfast times with a delicious menu that made our stay so special. It’s a short walk to town past a spectacular gorge or you can take scenic steps down the cliff to a little marina on the sea. We have never enjoyed a holiday more and can’t wait to come back.

stunning! our rooms with balcony were so comfortable and airy. the dining area and veranda were beautiful with a sea view. we enjoyed our daily breakfast and late night cocktail there. the front desk staff was exceptional. fun, courteous and very helpful with taxis and suggestions. the bar tender, restaurant manager and dining staff were also easy to engage in conversation. a very classy hotel but so friendly and not stuffy. the pool was beautiful. the daily breakfast (included) was sumptuous.

there were no negatives

The view was amazing and the setting for breakfast and dinner was spectacular. The staff at breakfast time ( especially Annalise) made our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious with a vast variety of good quality products. We were able to park our car on premises for free which was very helpful.

It was a little out of town and no shuttle was provided. Our bathroom fan didn’t work fogging up our mirror constantly on our 5 day stay. We informed front desk but nothing was done.

if you were trying to see the hotel on Google maps from the road you can't. It's just a parking lot and a glass elevator going down. Hotel is on the face of the cliff below the road and very pretty. Antonino Little Tony checked us in and walked us through the property and the room. Room is very spacious. Full sitting room and bedroom, and very nice balcony looking over all of Sorrento. We've stayed in other hotels in Sorrento before that looked out across the water, but this hotel is positioned that looks out across the water as well as back into Sorrento coastline. Beautiful. Short walk into town. Breakfast is excellent and it is served overlooking the entire town of Sorrento and the sea. Luigi, the gentleman at breakfast, is always so pleasant. Swimming pool area is beautiful. There is access to the beach via stairs as well. Bar upstairs overlooking the water, bar second floor or so overlooking the water. Hotel is just excellent. Highly, highly recommend. Free parking, great AC, great Wi-Fi, great shower, elevator, most every room has a balcony of some size overlooking Sorrento and the water.

As per other reviews, the staff can be off the scale good. The breakfast team were literally world class in levels of performance. We arrived at 01:30 after a delayed flight - the chap at reception came outside in the pouring rain to help us with our luggage - remarkable service and kindness. The views from the rooms and public spaces are beyond stunning.

We would have spent more time and money in the lounge / bar if the evening staff did not have their phones on them. On two of the nights we were there, we left and went out for a drink as we got bored waiting to be either noticed or served.

The room and the terrace were glorious. The staff were superb and very warm and welcoming. There are a lot of little extra touches to make this hotel exceptional. The breakfast room and the breakfast was amazing. Wonderful service at the pool area. Gowns, slippers and flip flops in the room. Beautiful linen and fresh bottled water dauly, This was one of my most favourite hotels stays ever. I wish I was back there.

I could not fault this hotel.

The view is amazing, the room was very spacious and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The pool is the perfect place to relax and cool off. Breakfast was delicious and offered so many delicious options to please everyone. The staff is lovely and was eager to assist with any question or reservation that we needed.

We visited the beach club associated with the hotel and it was not appealing. The walk down the hill was dirty, and personally, we did not enjoy swimming amongst the boats. The quality here didn't match the high quality of the hotel. I'd suggest another beach club, or sticking with the pool.

The location and scenery are absolutely beautiful, a 10 minute walk into the centre of the Sorrento. The staff are extremely friendly, and so helpful and done an amazing job in helping me organise the proposal to my partner. Big thanks to Grazianne and her team. Breakfast is amazing and the restaurant even better. Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious with fine little details.

The view, the view, the view. It’s incomparable. Staff are very nice and go out of their way to help, although not all are proficient in English

Odd details like the elevator always stops on floor zero if you’re going up.(floors start at 1 and go down to -5) They don’t refill coffee daily Some other small things you wouldn’t expect at a 5 star hotel
