The owner is really lovely and helpful. The location is very convenient for the airport and set in peaceful nature - lovely walk by the lagoon nearby. Fresh croissants for breakfast were great. The garden outside is lovely.

Not recommended if you're a light sleeper - walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. It's an old farmhouse, so this is part of the charm of course, but take earplugs! (I slept just fine with my earplugs in). I found the place a bit tricky to get to on the bus as it was confusing to buy the ticket online - research in advance how to do this!

Close to the airport (just a bus ride and short walk away!), a wonderful, friendly and intimate guest house in a rural location with a fabulous, huge swimming pool. Free wifi was a bit weak in our bedroom but worked well enough; great breakfast included. Although we got the bus there, we were offered a shuttle back to the airport which was handy, for probably a bit less than a taxi. Hosts are friendly, chatty and helpful, and made it a very warm and welcoming place for our last couple of nights in Italy.

No prices on meals, and they're a bit steep for the kids meals so a bit of a shock on check-out but then it's a captive audience; there's nothing else around except the next village of Altino about 2km away which has a small cafe; the nearest restaurants are nearer 5km away. It's an old building with no lift, so be mindful if you're bringing heavy bags; you'll need to take these up the stairs!

We can't speak highly enough about our wonderful stay at Country house Country club, communication and understanding was excellent, we arrived to Rosa's accomodation with alot of changes due to family needs, we were welcomed like family, cared for with compassion and kindness. The rooms were immaculately clean with air-conditioned rooms, a real Country home family feel, the pool was perfect for the Italian heat, we ate delicious traditional Italian food from the pool bar to the restaurant. Travelling from Australia this is a must stay between airport arrivals and departures also enjoying venice ease of proximity.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff. Breakfast (and dinners) were served outside as the weather was really good. Not a wide dinner menu but the food really was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We chose the location primarily because it's very close to the Airport and we had a very late arrival time - however, we have no hesitation in saying we would stay there again, simply because it's great! The 'Country Club' facilities (mainly the pool and snack bar arrangement were also excellent.

The proximity to the airport meant that there was occasionally quite a bit of 'Take-off noise' but not enough to stop us going back some time.

Rosa was very accommodating and polite . She was amazing at giving advice about our trip and how to get around the area. Very accommodating always had a smile. Very helpful in dropping us off at bus stops etc. such a lovely lady in all aspects, as was her husband. The only bad thing was the road works that could be scary getting in and off buses which is out of Rosa’s control.

Coming from South Africa, we felt right at home. Rosa's hospitality was superb. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone coming for whatever reason to stay at the Country House Country Club. So close to the airport if you are not staying for long. Also if you are staying long, you will be kept up to date with what can suite you best and where. We really felt so easy and so at home. The amenities were impeccable. Strangers can feel right at home.

A nice little hotel, close to the airport and offering a great shuttle service. It's more of a "traditional" hotel, but the rooms are spacious, clean and perfectly comfortable. Dinner was very nice, and the terrasse had a lovely atmosphere and, although plane flew overhead occasionally, wasn't too noisy. I left too early to experience breakfast, but from the way they were preparing the evening before, it looked like it would have been good too. I didn't have an opportunity to use the pool, but it looked very nice as well. A/C in the room worked well and also deterred the mosquitoes! I initially booked this hotel when a late evening flight got cancelled and I rebooked on an early morning flight the following morning, particularly as they offer a shuttle service to/from the airport. Nevertheless, I'd be happy to stay here for a longer visit if I'm in the area again. One stand out thing was the attitude of the owners and key personnel. They were wonderful - warm, welcoming and accommodating. The seemed to be genuinely nice people.

Not much really. The mosquitoes were a bit of a pain while on the terrasse having dinner, but that's not an issue with the hotel - it's true of Venice at that time of year... even the Airport was "buzzing"..!

The property was away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The grounds were lush and the swimming pool was wonderful. Our hosts were gracious and knowledgeable, and the food was exceptional. A beautiful place to stay.

We loved it but if you are in Venice for the hubbub, you want to be downtown.

Extremely nice country house surrounded by fields, a beautiful garden (and in summer a swimming pool). Old school and clean, very nice owners, and a decent restaurant. Bus transportation to Venice available for about 3 euros one way. They also offer boat tours to the less-known areas of Venice.

One downside could be (not for me...) -- for people who sleep light -- vicinity of the airport; depending on wind direction departing or arriving planes go straight over the house.

Fabulous pool, clean and quiet. Homely stay extremely nice hosts. The owners are a wonderful couple. The lady had brilliant information on the area and her husband dropped us to the airport at 4am for an early flight. Wonderful authentic Italian home cooked meal in the evening.

Hard to find anything negative, but some people may find the premises a little old fashioned. But this was a positive for us and added to the experience.
