Location is the main reason I booked this hotel. It was walking distance to the airport and reasonable price. I wished I could have checked in at noon because it was very hot outside and there was not many places to go. We walked to the airport at 4am for a 6am flight. The walk was easy and somewhat safe except that we saw a few kids/teens hanging out by the ATM machine at 4am. Also there is a small part of the road that does not have a side walk to roll your suitcase if you're walking to the airport from here or from the Courtyard (Marriot) but there is gravel. You should shine your flashlight downward in this area on the road to alert any cars of your presence. 90% of the walk to the airport has easy sidewalk so it's do-able. Venice/Tessera, please pave this small section of the side walk so it's safe. Bonus: go to the restaurant next door, it's called Al Quadrante, and order the paella, it's amazing!!! Treat yourself to an awesome dinner, it's a lot of food so you can eat as lunch and dinner.

The air conditioner did not really work well, it cooled the room a little but not enough to be comfortable in late June. There is no grocery stores nor convenience stores nearby so bring food and water before you check in the hotel. Luckily the old gentleman that runs the hotel was nice and gave us two water when I asked about where to buy any.

The place is a 15 minute brisk walk from the airport, so that rates highly for us. It has several good bars and eateries within 100m, which also helps its rating. The place is spartan but clean, comfortable and provides snacks for its guest. One very important thing we experienced was their great service. Let me explain. We left a very important item in the room when we left at 04:00 to catch a 06:00 flight. I realised my mistake at 04:30 and ran back to the hotel, from the airport, and got to the front door at 04:15 hoping that someone would be leaving soon as the door was locked and there was noone at reception. I called the mobile number provided on the door for emergencies and a man answered. I had woken him from his sleep, which was the second time it had happened to him that night. After explaining to him what had happened, he muttered a few comical cuss words and remotely unlocked the door. He really saved the day for us as it sounded like he easily have not been as helpful as he was. We made our flight and I hope he reads this review as I thank him very much.

I think it's a little expensive for what it is but that close to the airport it's still cheaper than the alternatives.

Perfect for a stay before heading to the airport. Nice restaurant next door and kebab shop on the other side. We walked to the airport in about 15-20 minutes, but it was 5am so quiet. There are about 30 meters with no sidewalk, and road is quite busy in the day. However, the bus stops very close and frequent. Rooms clean and breakfast were cakes, etc, near the exit left for early risers. We took an evening walk down the canal, and you can watch the planes taking off and landing and also the water taxis heading in and out. Nice helpful staff.

Located a 15min walk or short drive from Venice Marco-Polo Airport. The room was better than we had expected - clean and comfy for a one night stay. Not much to do in Tessera - we went for a morning run along the canal with views of Venice but I wouldn't plan to stay any longer than 1 night! Breakfast was very basic but nice to have something

Location on Google Maps made it a little bit harder to find but didn't take long once we were in the right area. Breakfast area could have a toaster provided and de-clutter the breakfast bar area a bit.

We stayed one night in early March (6th). Overnight prior to our flight to Dublin, Ireland. We caught the train from a Northern Italian community, Bassano Di Grappa to Venice Maestro. Caught the regular bus to the Marco Polo airport, but we got off at the stop nearly right in front of the hotel. Checked in. Ate at the great restaurant just right outside. Great food. Good prices. Next day we took the bus to the airport. You can walk it, but we did not want to. €10 bus ticket. Only 1km but our bags were heavy and I had an injured leg. We did not want to get the airport bust from in Venice, as we would have had to drag & carry out bags from the St Alicia Venice rail station. Save that hassle & time. Go to Venice Maestre. You can buy your bus ticket on the bus with your credit card. The room was clean, basic but great hot shower, fresh towels and the owner was nice. Their are stairs into the hotel. But the owner kindly carried my bag up as the bag lift was not working.

We wanted a place close to Venice and airport and this hotel satisfied both. Price was excellent especially compared to what it would cost in Venice. Also, very close to airport and could actually be reached on foot. If you want to pay more and be right in Venice, there are many hotels to choose from. From hotel, there is a close bus stop, that goes to Venice (15-20 minutes).

We were hoping that it would be easy to walk to airport. However, there were not always sidewalks and you have to walk in traffic part of the way. So, in my opinion, not a good option for walking. For taxi, they charge a flat fee of 20 euro to hotel.

This was a good stay. Functional place, well located , 15-20 minutes walk or very short bus journey from the airport and a regular public bus service directly to Piazzale Roma (30 mins). The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. I slept well as the room was quiet with the shutters down, despite facing the road and downstairs restaurant. They even provided a few breakfast items to eat in the room.

I didn’t meet anyone on check in or check out, but it didn’t matter. Everything worked well.

Great place, on bus line very close to the airport. No frills but perfect for crashing after arrival or just before departure. It is walkable to the airport (maybe 15 min?) but be warned that part of the walk is along a busy road with no obvious shoulder/sidewalk. Loved that there was an automatic espresso machine and pastries set out so that it was possible to have something to eat and drink even when up for a flight at 4am.

No complaints. Was as described, and staff were available and friendly.

Great location. This hotel is about 20 mins (1.4 km) walk from the terminal front door - half of that is the walk to the public road. So no need to try to find a bus. My previous review said I'd be happy to use the hotel again, and I was. The room was very clean and complementary pastries and coffee were available in the morning (NB not a full blown breakfast).

The hotel access is via a fairly steep staircase from street level, although there is a stairlift if required. I didn't use the stairlift, so I can't guarantee that it works

My expectations were low since this seemed to be a hotel that people typically stayed at when they had early morning flights at Venice airport. However, the hotel far exceeded my expectations. The room was larger, cleaner, and more comfortable than I had expected and check in was very smooth. There is also a bus stop nearby that is a short ride to the airport.

There is not much else around the hotel as far as sightseeing or activities go. However, I imagine that most travelers who are considering this hotel are doing so due to its close proximity to the airport. This hotel is an excellent value for that purpose.
