The place is kept and managed nicely, the big private parking is a big plus, actually they offer very cheep and very nice buffet breakfast for 7 euro and even a "short" version of it - croissant and a coffee for 3 euro. There is a lift, rooms are just fine, bathroom too

Part of the personnel emanate very suspicious attitude, though everyone with no exception were very polite and helpful. The modern tendency to kick out the guests out at 10.00 in the morning is something I hate - and here the delay/failure to leave on time is garnished with 25 euro fine - according to a sign at the reception

Very close to Venice Marco Polo airport. A great solution if you're having late or early flight. There is a private parking onsite if you are coming with car. The hotel is near to the numerous "fly and park" car parks. Rooms are big enough and comfortable.

The room was a bit dusty (literally my phone in the morning was covered with a layer of dust.....). No cattle in the room, but for 3 euros you can get coffee (and croissant) in the morning. There was also a buffet breakfast option available for 7 euros. Check out is at 10.30 and late(r) check out is possible only for 25euros (but still no latter than 12.30h). Last but not least... a smile from the receptionist would have been appreciated. :)

Close to the airport and easy to book a taxi early morning. Very clean and comfortable with great shower.

All I would say is there is not much open around it at night. But basically it was great!

The staff are really helpful and good. The Hotel is really close by to the airport and public transport services are really good. One can easily reach the hotel and also the island of Venice, Mestre Railwaystation and also the Main railway station from the hotel in just 20 to 30 minutes using the Public transport. The rooms are nice and cosy. The bathrooms are clean and neat. Also the area nearby is good and has some local eateries. They let you keep your luggage too if you are early or in case you have late flights after checkout. The reception also helps in calling a local Taxi in case you decide to go to airport with it. Its at times cheaper than public transport if you are a family of two or more.

The bathrooms are a bit old modelled and a bit small. But the rest everything is Amazing.

When I travel I spend most of time in the city I visit and not in the hotel. So, what matters for me when I choose a hotel? - to have a bathroom in the room - to be clean - to have good public transport possibilities - to have free wifi - and all these for a reasonable price The Hotel Altieri provided all these for me... and something else... I would like to say a BIG THANKS to the pearl of receptionists, the beautiful SUSANNA! The kindest person with a high level of ability of solutions to problems and excellent sense in calming the tourist being in trouble when the tourist (me) lost the connection with (my) mobile phone, and ALL the information can be found only in it! Susanna knows brilliant tricks not only for extreme situations but also tricks that are useful in everyday life. THANKS SUSANNA! So, if you need not only an accomodation, but a hotel with a 'Swiss army knife' and kind staff just choose Hotel Altieri! The towels were changed every other day, cleaned the room and bathroom and made beds were waiting for us every day, everything was working. Bus stop and tram stop almost in front of the hotel. What else do you need for a comfortable stay in Venice?

I flew to Venice, arriving very late at night, too late to get over to Venice Island where I was headed; so it was great that Altieri Hotel had 24hr reception. A taciturn man checked me in and sold me a welcome cold beer. The room was spotless. It was comfortable enough, though the foam pillows and mattress weren’t to my taste. Nice little bathroom with a decent shower. And it was pleasantly quiet. Just the job for my purposes in other words. A very friendly and smiley lady checked me out 🙂

Nothing to dislike really. It’s a functional, practical choice.

Location is excellent, just e few steps from bus station. The staff were very kind, polite and serviceable. Room was clean with kingsize bed, Private parking free of charge inside the hotel.Exeptional choice for the money.

The coffee in the lobby was from the automatic machine not so good and doesn't worth for momey. A few steps down the street on the corner, there is a garden where they serve fresh coffee for half the price of the hotel and a selection of fresh and warm croissants.

We arrived mid-night at the hotel. The front desk is very helpful and no issue check-in. Hotel facilities are basic as expected, however it is clean and the bed is comfortable for our good night rest. We paid additional (reasonable price) to have our breakfast in the hotel the next morning, as not many eatery around the hotel are open in the morning. The selections of food is ok for us. Suzanne, she is superb, she alone managing the front desk and at the same time ensuring the guest are taking care of at the breakfast area. She is professional, super friendly and has provided us with a lot of suggestion to go to and around in Venice. Specially love her big smile and warm personality.

The hotel do not provide water kettle in the room, if you need hot water, you need to pay EURO 3 for every 500ml hot water. Hot water should be provided free for the guest as basic amenities. Hope hotel management can take into consideration.

Everything was great, the rooms, the breakfast, the receptionist Susana was really friendly and helpful to us which we all appreciate it so much. Great location, the Metro/Bus station was on 300m which was awesome for us.

What we didn’t like is that they have some kind of policy to change the towels every 3 days. I accidentally got my towel wet in the shower the first day and I didn’t got another one, I explained that my towel fell in to the water and that it’s wet but they said that there is nothing they can do. They should update their policy about the towels to get new and clean towels everyday.

It was a delight to stay at this hotel. Its staff are its greatest asset; they are so polite, patient and accommodating. I was truly impressed by an Iranian Female Staff as she did the utmost to ensure I had a pleasant stay and was more than capable in answering all my questions (I naturally had a lot as a solo traveller). From a facility perspective, it is absolutely great value for money and you can book with confidence knowing this place offers outstanding quality. I personally will be looking to come back again to this hotel with some friends.

If there could be free water, at least for the first night as supermarkets close quite early and I'd flown in late in the day.
