The room was gorgeous and kept very clean, cleaned everyday, the view outside of the window was beautiful and the staff were amazing, very attentive and welcoming. We also had breakfast everyday and were very satisfied with the quality. I do not usually write reviews however after seeing some negative reviews felt like I had to have my say, could not recommend this place enough.

My only complaint was the shower, a little cramped and the shower head could due with being replaced.

We chose that place because of the pool and affordable price. When we arrived on the afternoon the pool area was very crowded and not by the hotel residents, I suspect. It's more like a place to gather for siesta. Yet in the evening there was almost no one and we could get the best out of the pool. This hotel is close to Venice and also some shopping area. The room was ok, but nothing special. They also provide breakfast, yet it costs extra 10€ per person.

The pool was great! We arrived at 1130 (check in was at 2:30pm). The receptionist gave us pool towels and we were able to change into swimsuits in the pool changing area while we waited for the room to be ready. This was really great after an international flight with kids. The pool also had food service. The kids liked the hot dogs and I really enjoyed the avocado toast and Italian coffee. Also, the property is only two blocks from the bus stop which was very convenient.

After BA cancelled our flight back to the UK, we had to scramble to get 2 additional nights’ accommodation near Venice Airport while we waited for the next available flight. Our requirements were simple: - near the airport - not too expensive - had a restaurant onsite - had an outdoor pool And could accommodate a family of 4 at very short notice in the middle of the busy August season. Hotel Villa Sara was perfect... and in the end, the family agreed our 2 night emergency accommodation was actually the surprise highlight of our week in Italy! The pool was at a delicious temperature and not too crowded. There were plenty of sunbeds and parasols The poolside music was at a pleasant volume (and we appreciated the 90s vibe rather than the banging Euro-pop we'd been tortured with the rest of the trip) The pool side bar and snacks were varied and tasty - the local IPA was great! The dinner in the evening was a real treat - the fresh fettuccini carbonara was one of the best I have tested.

The hotel itself is inside an old villa - and it is 3 star and not trying to be modern or corporate and shiny. We enjoyed the rustic charm of closing the shutters at night, but others might not. It could do with some modernisation, but to be honest, we were hardly in the room as the pool is so nice and the restaurant is outside.

I want to share my pleasant impressions about the hotel. The combination of bustling Venice and a hotel without the fuss - the holiday was a success. Pleasant staff, friendly hotel owners, beautiful grounds - everything created an atmosphere of home comfort. Will definitely come back again🌟. Аnd have already recommended the hotel to my friends.

The pool and its surroundings are awesome. The room itself is very nice, spacious and comfy. The personnel is very nice and helpful.

Well, if like me, you have a tiny wife who needs a giant suitcase, taking it to the second floor is quite challenging without an elevator ;p

They won my heart with the Carbonara I had for the dinner ❤️ the hotel has good location, 25 min by bus to Venice and 5 min by car to the airport. The room was clean, warm and the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the bathroom was more than perfect! In general, it is a good place to stay if you wanna see and enjoy Venice but also wanna be close to the airport. Staff super nice!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Hotel Villa Sara, and would happily return in the future. It's not a luxury hotel, so don't be expecting a glitzy five-star location - but from our first welcome to our fond farewell, we couldn't fault the place. A genuinely relaxed and relaxing hotel, with friendly staff, a cosy and surprisingly spacious family room, a great pool to cool off in, a generous breakfast, and a perfect location for our inward and outbound journeys.

Rovalue for moneyom was fine

We were cheated in the hotel restaurant.We chose a bottle of wine the waiter said was 15euro when we got the bill it was 50euro.The waiter then charged 2euro each as a chair tax. The bill should have been 53euro we were charged 93euro.Terrible scam by this hotel

The breakfast menu is very rich and varied. We were spoiled for choice. Totally loved it. The hotel is easy to locate and reach by the readily available public means and our hosts were very supportive with additional information and guidance.
