The staff, the breakfast, and especiallythe concierge service. They took excellent care of us. One night we called down to request a tea from breakfast before bed, and they couldnt find the right kind. The next two nights they surprised us with lovely tea sets and the perfect tea we were desiring. That was lovely! They planned the most luxurious day at lake Como for us and kept us fed by planning dinners and also a trip to La Scala for the worlds (worst) Opera Il Nobre della Rosa - it wasnt their fault the Opera was bad though! THE BED WAS HEAVENLY. The Aqua di Parma soap and shampoo collection was so luxurious that i bought myself some to take home.

design trumps practicality in the room, particularly in the bathroom. The faucet levers were maddening. The lights were all completely oddly electronicslly connected, it was almost impossible to turn of individual lights without pressing every button-and we were there five days. In fact my friend routinely accidentally turned off all lights when trying to turn off only one light - more than once i was left in the dark on the commode. The shower was also kind of broken and kind of mildewed.

Location, breakfast. We reserved two rooms. Upon check-in, the hotel assigned us very poor rooms – cramped, chilly, very cold bathroom, with an unpleasant odor in the rooms and throughout the floor. However, after we raised a complaint and they reassigned our rooms, both were excellent – spacious, cozy, and bright, warm and good bathroom.

The staff is generally well-trained and assisted us promptly and competently. However, there are also some less-trained staff members. For example - on our last day, we requested a dinner reservation, and the employee made the reservation for an outdoor table without consulting us. Considering that we were a family with a child and it was November, this choice was unreasonable. Consequently, we ended up without a dinner.

I liked the location of the hotel, very central but quiet. The staff at the hotel are welcoming, nice and very helpful. The hotel is clean and smells very good, the room is spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend for those looking for a hotel in the center but in a quiet area, for those looking for a small and quiet hotel.

What can be improved is the quality of the pillows. They are really uncomfortable. The breakfast is very nice, but the selection is relatively sparse for a hotel that is considered luxurious..

The upgrade to penthouse suite was amazing. The location and having a gym.

Only that part of breakfest menu consists of some dishes which in other hotels are included (avocado with poached eggs, porrodge, fresh orange).... with little change cost of breakfest will not be uncontrollable for hotel but will be pleasent for guests.

The level of service provided by the hotel is excellent. The staff was very friendly and ready to help with anything. I also want to note the excellent breakfasts. The location of the hotel is perfect, within walking distance of both the opera house and the central square.

The hotel itself is quite small, I don't know if this is an advantage or a disadvantage. The bar is unfortunately very small, both in size and in terms of selection, and it's not cozy, although the staff provided excellent service.

The rooms design is a little “style over substance” - it’s gorgeous but the bathroom is full of water after shower for example as there is no partition Breakfast could have been a little more authentic - less packaged food (eg butter and jams) and more fresh Italian foods

Staff were exceptional. Beautifully professional and very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Milan is an expensive city but for what we paid (extremely expensive) some small touches were missing. No acknowledgment of my partner’s birthday yesterday which I made them aware of; no effort to assist us yesterday for a late checkout when we had a night flight and it was pouring with rain. Not huge issues but at this high end, these efforts make all the difference.

The property is small and sophisticated but honestly lacks nothing on amenities or comfort. It is beautifully designed and the service is impeccable. Close to major sights and areas of interest but set in a quiet corner. We went to the spa at Armani and honestly the larger hotels felt no more elegant or better than Casa Baglioni! Beautiful experience!!

Lovely both in appearance and comfort. So clean and tidy with so much attention to detail. Everyone knows you, your needs and is friendly and sincere. Lovely rooftop aperitivo spot, nightly turndown that was comforting and wonderful to return to. Lastly, the final morning of checkout we found out our flights were so delayed we would miss the last flights out on our connection…so we stayed another night and the hotel staff were on it immediately allowing us to stay in the same room at the same rate - so easy and honestly made a tough situation so much better! We enjoyed another full day in Milan with nothing to worry about!!
