Nice 4 star hotel, clean, good variety of breakfast if included. Great location to central station..10min walk & close to Corso Buenos Aires, a major shopping street in Milan, Italy. It's a long, bustling thoroughfare known for its high concentration of clothing stores and various other retail outlets, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists.  Left my wallet at the reception desk on check out, was totally relieved they came to while sitting in the foyer to give back...these are moments that bring you back to a hotel. Thank you to the staff

Positive Aspects: The room was spacious, and the TV was a good size, adding to the comfort. The hotel was very quiet, which made for a restful stay. The location is excellent, being close to metro stations and the central station, making it easy to explore Milan. Breakfast offered a good variety of options. Some staff members were very pleasant and helpful.

We had an issue with the toilet, which was not working properly. We reported it before leaving the hotel, and they said someone would take care of it. However, upon our return, the problem was still there, and it seemed like no one had checked the room. We requested assistance again, and although the staff member who came was not particularly willing, he eventually fixed it. While some staff were friendly, others were less so, but there were no major incidents.

Hotel policy for checking-in at 15:00hrs, and check-out at 11:00am is quite unfair to guests, quite inconvenient and puts high pressure on guests to rush-out leaving the room almost immediately after end of the breakfast time-set.

The breakfast was great, repetitive but still plenty of choice with kind staff. Room was very spacious, bed also so it felt great. Bathroom was clean and also big. Overall a pleasant stay, walking distance of Milano centrale and metro station that gets you anywhere really fast.

We had a small problem with cleaning lady that tried to kick us out of our room more than 1 hour before check out and she only spoke French while trying to explain us. I went to reception and explained the situation when they said that it is 12 for check out time and cared not to apologize or explain it to cleaning lady which I barely managed when I returned to the room and translated it to her. She just rolled her eyes and probably went on cursing in French. So yeah, reception stuff and cleaning lady should really be nicer for a 4 star hotel.

Excellent hotel, a great room size, a good breakfast, and a perfect location.

Everything was good, only thing was after checking out we wanted to leave the luggage in the lockers as our flight was in the night but they said no for that.

The hotel is well positioned. The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

There two things I thought let it down. The breakfast was not good at all. There seemed a wide selection but it was a lot of the same thing, such as all vanilla yogurts, no selection. The hot selection was a bit of a waste of time as the eggs were tasteless and as a vegetarian the only other two hot items were meat, things like mushrooms, beans or tomatoes etc would help and also be good for vegetarians. Did smile at the huge Nutella though. Tried the muesli as options were limited for me, but it was absolutely awful. Liked the pear kiwi juice. In the end, ended up getting breakfast out each day. The other issue was tv didn’t work in room after day 1 but didn’t bother sorting as only news channel in English, mayve one channel non news English would be good.

This is a very good hotel with nice decoration, comfortable rooms, cleanliness and very good service from the polite staff. Very good wifi signal. The breakfast is very very good but almost the same every day. The hotel is very close to the central train station and between two metro stops. It is almost half an hour walk from the Duomo square. There is a mini market and shops right across the street. But at the train station there is a supermarket and a shopping center. The welcome note with the chocolates in the room was a very kind gesture. Thank you very much Doria Grand Hotel!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Doria Grand Hotel. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Milano Centrale, which made getting around the city very convenient. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. I was also very impressed with the breakfast selection—varied, fresh, and well-presented. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, both at reception and in the breakfast area. Special thanks to Giovanni at the bar and restaurant—his hospitality truly stood out and added a warm, personal touch to my stay. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel, the service, and the value for money. A solid choice in Milan, and definitely worth the price.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at around 11am and were allowed to go to our room immediately. Room was clean with nice furnitures and lots of marble in the bathroom. Breakfast was awesome. Location is within a few blocks from the Milan Central Train Station. Very good value for the money.

Only a few English speaking channels were available on TV in room, like BCC and French 24. CNN was on the menu but was unable to receive any signal. May be possible to add CNBC and/or Bloomberg, for example?

Very pleasant comfortable room in nice quiet hotel. Good professional staff, an excellent range of foods for breakfast. Good location for Milan Centrale Station, and an easy tram or metro ride to the heart of the city to visit the Duomo and La Scala.
