A nice plce in an ancient building near to city center and monuments. The location is great just 2 stations wlaway from Duomo and the station is 8mn away. There is a lot of nice cafe and restaurants around. The receptionnists are all very very nice. The place is safe. The price is convenient

Didn’t that it is a one floor hitel at a building before arriving and I took time to get to it. Didn’t have boiler in the room but we used the one in the Kitchen. Beds are not very comfortable but Ok, and the room eas not very warm.

We did not have breakfast at hotel Atena. So, I cannot make any comment on that. Location was fine. Room size was okay but it could be better if it was a bit bigger. Cleanliness was great.

All the receptionist were very polite and helpful. Only one of the promissed us to book a taxi the noght before our departure day, but had not done it. It caused us some stress as there was noone at reception before 8am. The problem ot resolved as soon as the receptionist turned up at 8am. He booked us a taxi and luckily we got to the airport on time.

The location to the main shopping street was great. Beautiful restaurants within walking.g distance. Train and metro were within walking distance. The rooms were plain and basic. But very clean and had all you needed for a city shopping break. The staff went above and beyond to help with every query and advice needed. An added bonus was the quaint little balcony. Will definitely stay here on my next trip.

No fault with anything

My husband and I stayed for two nights and were very pleased. The room was clean, cleaned daily, the location of the hotel is just great, the staff is very friendly. The only negative is that the description says breakfast at the hotel, which also influenced our choice. But it turned out that the hotel no longer provides this service. Just remove it from the description and the list of amenities, please. Otherwise, we were pleased and recommend the hotel.

Hotel located quite close to city centre. Nice building with elevator. Staff was very kind and helpful - they let us leave the baggage after checkout. Room was smaller than it looked on photos, but clean and with working AC. There was an iron machine available. It was also possible to buy cold beverages in the hotel.

Room looked smaller than on photos. Water pressure in the bathroom was quite low. It would be nice to have any hanger in the bathroom.

Excellent value for the standards of the facilities and the location. The hotel is in an elegant building in Milan city centre, just 3-4 minutes from a metro station. Breakfast also is excellent value. Staff is friendly and very helpful. I needed a plug adaptor and they provided it.

The shower did not have a shower head holder or a shelf, which made using the shower a bit awkward. Shampoo is provided in single-use pouches, which do not look particularly eco-friendly and are not enough for washing hair. Towels are changed every day, which is very hygenic but a bit heavy on the environment.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The bed is very comfortable. Hygiene is excellent. All compliments for the price-quality ratio.

A very small remark is that the coffee machine works only from 8 to 10 in the morning. Also, there is an extra charge for check-in during the night – after all, this is a hotel.

The staff was very friendly. We asked for an iron and they gave it to us, asked if we could leave our things at the reception before the flight and they allowed us to do so. The location and surrounding was great, the receptionist also recommended a good place for dinner. It was very clean and quiet in the room.

The location was quite central. The building itself was authentic, the room was clean. Staff members were kind and helpfull.

There's no sound isolation, so a lot of noise (inside and outside), which impacted our sleep quality. In addition, both nights in a row there was a very lound security alarm sound. The room is smaller than it looks in the pictures.

I think it’s the best hotel for this price. I had to spend just one night in Milan and I didn’t want to rent an expensive hotel, because I was planning to be out most of the time. First of all, the location was perfect – very nice and safe neighborhood. Secondly, the staff was very helpful and friendly. And the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. So, overall I was happy with my choice.

The doors in the rooms are very thin, so it’s pretty noisy if someone walking late at the hall, you can hear everything.
