Lovely location, very central. A short walk from Metro 4 which comes from Linate Airport.

The breakfast was delivered to the room because L'Ottava does not have a reception room for guests. As a result we had to choose every breakfast item on check in. Perhaps a printed list inviting guests to tick options would be easier. On delivery, we did not get all the items we picked for breakfast and the person serving was nowhere to be found when we needed a top up on coffee. It can be confusing to get out of the metro and not know for sure where to go, indications on where to head from the metro exit would be useful.

Room is spacious and clean, there are everything you needed, reality is way higher than expectations, very helpful staff. Big thanks to lady at the reception, she is so helpful and polite. Breakfast was good as well, not lots of options but good anyways. Location is comfortable as well.

Air conditioner located on floor, a bit not comfortable but not critical it didn’t give bad impression / vibes.

Owner contacted us via whats app on arrival day with clear location/ instructions to enter the property, and was very friendly and helpful when we arrived, also arranged a taxi for our deoarture. Room adequate size with big bathroom. Quiet location but within easy walking distance of tram stop, metro and supermarket, and around 30 mins walk into duomo area. The little friendly bar on corner was handy for drink on our way back after a days sightseeing.

Would have preferred breakfast in a designated eating area rather than your room but understand isnt possible due to type of property. However, many places in Milan seem to be similar, and the option of a hotel a lot more costly!!

The Guesthouse was in a wonderful location, so close to 2 metro stations - Tricolore and Dateo for easy access around Milan, however we chose to walk the 30 mins to the Duomo and surrounding area each evening. We stayed for the Formula 1 and although breakfast was served to your room between 8.00 and 9.30, the hosts were kind enough to leave us in the room each evening even putting things that needed to be chilled into the fridge in the room.

The only thing I would say is that althougj the breakfast was lovely (Croissant or Muffin, Juice, meat and fruit, along with tea and coffee, perhaps there could be more options.

We were traveling with a friend and really enjoyed our stay here. Room and bathroom was equipted with needed things like AC, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer, several towels per person. The breakfast was also super tasty! It is not super near to the center, but it is easy to reach it by taxi, bus, or even by walking it is just about 30 minutes of walk.

The only niuance was that the TV could be a little more ‘smart’. After long day of exploring we wanted to turn on some music or podcasts on youtube, however, the TV only shows cable television, so there was just a little use of it. But this is just a small thing and experience overall is still great! 😊

The location was so good,near to downtown and public transportations,bus number 60 from central station ,tramways 19 to duomo,and 9 to cetrral station,Mr Emanuele,the owner was so gentman,i saw only one staffs,tha lady that we seen was so nice and kind.very clean room with good size,breakfast was italian that was ebought.very good price,i think that we booked another room,with window to yard,but i had a room with a door wirh a small balcony with view to street so our room was upgraded😊,there are 2 appartment in the floor 1,we were in side that there were 2 rooms,i think the other side has 7 rooms.our side has more privacy . Really nothing,for a bed and breakfast,every thing was so good,but,i have just a proposal,we had a coffee machine in our room but we had not coffee capsules,we had capsules of coffee from our home that were match to thats coffy machine,so we could use coffee machine.It is better that when a room has coffee machine,has coffee capsules too.But,it not decrease the grade 10 of this b&b.

They were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The safety features were great! The people were very helpful, and I had no issues. There was a free breakfast and the room was very nice and quiet. Also, there is a fire grocery store around the corner and a refrigerator in your room for extra snacks. A bonus was the is an open market on some days on the same street, which was a pleasant surprise, but it did get a little crowded at that time. But I didn't even hear the noise from the market from my room and it was a great experience to visit right outside the hotel!

The location is a little out of the way, but it was an easy walk to the metro.

My partner loved the old style elevator! It was in a good location, close enough to the main square via walking and a decent price for what it is. The lady on reception was very helpful and lovely.

Didn’t look like the pictures online. Would have been nice to attend breakfast instead of having to choose the day before what to eat. Sometimes like to see the food physically to choose.

This property was excellent, clean, very modern and inviting. A wonderful breakfast, where you can choose what you want and the hour when you want it, and you have it in your room. It was close to the main landmarks in Milano, by tram 19 and 9. Also there is a small bar in the corner, Geko, that was a solution when everything was closed it was always opened and the owner, Armando, always tried to please you. My husband and I highly recommend L'Ottava.

Manager was very friendly and the staff very helpful with our celiac requirements for breakfast. We appreciated having a safe in our room for our passports! Very clean room and nice coffee station for our use.

We found it hard to identify the address of the accommidation - it was not clearly marked on the outside of the building - another resident in the building let us in. -It would be nice if L'Ottava GuestHouse had a sign on the outside of the building with instructions for entry:)
