The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed every interaction when speaking with them.

The noise in the room was a little disruptive. It may have been the noise of water, plumbing, toilet flushing or shower. It was very loud at night time and early morning. The tea/coffee facilities are not in the room. Early morning or late evening hot water is best to have in the room as the downstairs tea area was closed at a certain time, or the receptionist was busy with check in duties. This was not their fault. I would suggest a kettle in the room and two cups as an option.

It’s old but well kept, everything is very clean and the breakfast was alright. Not an extremely wide variety of things but good enough to satisfy the need. The reception area is really welcoming, and I really appreciated that I was able to get a drink from them even when arriving almost at 11pm.

Granted that I arrived at night and I was by myself, but the little street it’s located in doesn’t give you the best feel when you arrive. Also the elevator is not very claustrophobic-friendly. What elevator really is? Duh… but I mean, this one is really unfriendly.

It's an old-hotel, but clean. The room was very nice with comfortable bed, TV, mini-bar, WIFI, fully equipped bathroom and I especially liked the balcony. It has everything that you need inside. The staff was great and welcoming. It's close to restaurants, supermarkets, M4 (metro) and a lot of bus/tram stations are close, so you can easily reach Duomo and etc. Everything is like it looks on the picture.

Maybe the furniture needs some improvement.

The style of the interior would be considered outdated now, but it gives this hotel character and I really liked that. It is well kept for the rest. Staff is friendly and helpful, my room was small but cute, and had a large balcony as a bonus. The bathroom was recently renovated, everything else was just fine. There is a big supermarket right nearby and cafés around the corner.

Convenient location, close to transport and local shops, bars and restaurants. Good standard hotel with reception open 24 hours. Comfortable room with bathroom, though the shower itself needs updating. Seemed a bit dearer than previously, but my favourite place to stay in Milan.

A few fittings, etc, need updating, but generally nothing to dislike.

Very helpful, friendly staff. The room was also nice, although small. The beds were clean, comfy, and there were extra pillows. The blanket was a bit thin, but the room has a thermostat and at night it got quite hot The bathroom was clean, the towels too. The included breakfast was buffet style, with a lot of sweet options, not as many savory, so it was a miss for me but my partner enjoyed it (it did have salami and cheese). The coffee was amazing Overall, a wonderful stay at a fair price. If you want to walk to the city center, it's about a 30-40 min walk, so not that far. The neighborhood is nice, quite, and it has a supermarket and a bus station close (2 min) I am pleased, and if I come back to Milan I'm going to stay here again!

The toilet flushes in a strange way (to me) but other than that, I have no complaints!

Don't kid yourself, this is an older hotel. But that's what I liked about it. Getting to the economy room was interesting. Being outside of summer the aircon was off, but the room was pleasant enough. Good staff with both the night manager and the owner in the morning being very friendly and able to speak English.

I didn't try opening the window which may have introduced bugs in the room.

I have stayed in the hotel with my friends for 3 nights. The staff was very helpful - after a very long journey, we have found bottles of water in a small fridge. The weather was not nice - on the first day it was constantly raining. We were cold and asked the receptionist for hot water for the tea, what we have received without any problem. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful.

The only problem for us was the lack of a kettle in our room, but we got hot water every time we asked for it. The location was not bad, but getting to the city centre took us 20 minutes by train or by bus.

My room had a nice big balcony and clean bathroom. The staff spoke English well and they were helpful. You can have a breakfast with almost everything that you expect from a breakfast on the menu at a decent price. And finally, the location is good, close to the subway and bus stations and not too far from the city centre.

The room was too small. The balcony door did not have a net, so if you keep the door open to get fresh air, you'll invite mosquitos to your room too.
