Hotel Panizza is centrally located and close to a number of metro lines. The neighborhood was bustling, but the hotel is located on a very quiet street. Hotel staff were very helpful, allowing me to check in early because my room was available and to leave my bags after check out the following day. While my single room was small (which I expected), it was very comfortable and extremely clean. The hotel doesn't have a lot of 'frills', but it was clean and comfortable and the staff was kind and welcoming. I would certainly stay at the Hotel Panizza again.

The reception staff were very helpful and nice. It's located in a very convenient location, we basically walked everywhere. The breakfast was really nice.

While the other guests were very quiet, you can hear everything happening in the hallway - people walking, talking, etc. I could hear the toilet flush and people clearing their throat if I opened the window and the air conditioning was quite loud. I was worried for the evening but again, all guests seemed quite quiet so I didn't hear footsteps after 8pm or so.

The location was ideal for our trip. We walked to the Leonardo Museum, Castle, Duomo and others. The rooms were clean and the staff very courteous to non Italian speakers. I appreciated their efforts and the breakfast was simple and spot on. For anyone looking for an experience that felt very Italian without the usual hotel “in your face “ feel, I’d highly recommend it. We’re already planning on a return visit.

Not a thing. Loved the elevator and the views from the fourth floor room. Some might feel the room is slightly smaller than they’d like but we didn’t spend much time in the room.

Great selection of cold foods. Nice warm pancakes when available. I loved the view from my room and the size of the room and bathroom was bigger than I thought. The room and bathroom were cleaned every day and we received clean towels daily which was nice. The location was perfect as it was walking distance to tram, bus and metro stations. There was also a high street with lots of shops very nearby. Staff were lovely and so helpful with everything. They always had a smile on their face and made our stay very enjoyable.

There was a good selection of fruit but I would have also preferred berries, like strawberries and blueberries etc. There was only one chair in the room and there were two of us so two chairs could have been better. There was also only one spare pillow and again, two could have been better. Also a way to connect our phone/device to play on the TV would have been great!

The breakfast was awesome! There‘s a variety of fresh fruits as well as a range of bakery and patisserie goods such as croissants, apple pie, small pastry, toast. I could still go on with listing (musli, yogurt, …). The location is great as it‘s very quiet but still close to a bustling area with shops and restaurants. Also, it‘s close to Santa Maria delle Grazie. Tram 10 stops directly in front of the hotel and offers a direct connection to Little Venice which is great for going out for a drink and dinner in the evening. On Tuesdays, there‘s a huge market very close to its location!

The room was very small… but it still provided anything we needed.

It was an interesting building with a sweeping staircase and feeling of grandeur, in a good location. The staff were kind and attentive.

When I was checking out I was almost charged double for the city tax. I was a bit confused having not been in Italy for long and it was only when a relative turned up to meet me that the situation was resolved.

I liked the hotel very much. It was a beautiful building and nice interior with very Italian view from the window which make your stay amazing. The location is very close to the central metro M1 line, which is easily accessible to the Malpensa airport and the city destinations. The staff were nice and the breakfast was fresh and healthy.

The only discomfort I had was soundproof - I was walked up by city cleaner machines or hotel cleaners everyday at 6 am. I would recommend visitors at least to shut the outer covers of windows; Or sleep with earplugs.

Attentive, helpful and kind staff, the large bathroom, 24hr reception (we used at 1.15am to obtain advice in booking Uber the next day to train station), lift in the hotel (great for big suitcases), convenient location close to public transport and just outside of the city centre. About 20-25 min to stadium where we had been so also convenient location for concerts at San Siro.

A/C turned off at regular intervals but might be better if it could be left on during the night as it could be quite warm in the room

Close to the Metro station and tram stops. Good location to see The Last Supper. Quiet and clean. Others mentioned building work but that seemed to be completed now.

Not many amenities nearby, but you can take the tram down to the Navigli district for lots of bars/restaurants. Air-conditioning just about kept the room comfortable. Not the easiest place to find and get into - on the 2nd floor of a residential building and it's a bit confusing.

WASHROOM WAS CLEAN, NICE WHITE BIG TOWELLS, HUGE BIDET. EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN. THE LADY AT THE RECEPTION WAS EXTREMELY HELPLFUL. MODERN ANTIQUE LOOK IN BEDROOM. WINDOW LOOKS TOWARDS NEIGHBOUR 'S BALCONIES AND ADD A TOUCH TO THE SUITE I WAS IN.

The main entrañnce looks old and when you first come but its just part of the building architecture.
