We loved central location, windows that have full blinds and door protecting from noise outside.

The woman on the phone was rude and shouting at us during check-in. Specifically, we arrived ~14:00 and called property to notify about our arrival. At the same time person at the door called the bell. Woman from the property shouted at me that she already know that we arrived and should not be ringing the door. I told her that it unprofessional to shout and it is not my fault someone rang the door at the same time.

The property is a few steps from Duomo. Ridiculously central, close to all stops, taxi stand, metro, Leonardo museum, restaurants and grocery stores. The approach is through a very narrow and poorly lit entrance and doorway. There's a steep climb of about a dozen steps and an extremely small poorly lit elevator - 1 guest at a time. The rooms were great - cant recommend it enough. Spacious rooms with spacious washroom as well. AC could do with servicing do deal with heatwaves and global warming I guess! There's no staff at the property - so I was calling at property number on Booking.com reservation details. They were extremely responsive, prompt and helpful. Vince, helped with luggage and can't thank him enough. His colleague, the gentleman who helped with luggage and a cab in the morning was also great. The taxi stand is great for airport - only about 20-30 minutes in the morning. 15 - 20 minutes from Milan Central. It's bang on the main road (trams pass through), so you may not get luxury of getting down and unloading luggage at leisure. You may also have to get off on opposite side and walk across. Be prepared for that. Since it is bang on the main road, there will be road noise. We didn't have a problem. There are restaurants and bakeries close by - looks like they use common air vents. at 6 AM, the room was filled with the smell of various things being cooked!

As detailed above, the dingy, cramped elevator and less than inviting approach! Nothing else.

The room was great and big, with a safe and a mini fridge which was filled with free bottles of water. There were sweets ready for us and the second day we received free water bottles and sweets again. Everything was very clean, the bathroom was super and neat with more than enough towels. Location was just perfect. Right in the centre, a few steps from Duomo. Everyone was very friendly and nice to us.

The checking was a little confusing at first as the person who checks you in has to come over from another place. This does not take long though, just 5-10 mins. The pillows were hard but that is a personal thing. Really can't say anything negative about the place. Would book it again.

The location is a perfect base for exploring all of the main tourist attractions. It is right near the Duomo and other central attractions are all within walking distance or can be easily accessed by public transport (Metro and trams stop very close by). The room was basic but it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. In the room we had free bottled water, Lavazza coffee, sweets and biscuits, which were topped up every day. There were also some toiletries and a panettone, which was a lovely touch. Check in and out was relatively straightforward. There is no reception but the staff communicated with us beforehand to know our estimated arrival time and they turned up quickly when we called them to say we had arrived.

It wasn’t an issue for us but something to be aware of - the lift is very small. So if you have large cases you might need to carry them up the stairs. The only thing missing in terms of facilities was an iron, but we never asked for one so perhaps it was available if requested. You can hear noise outside at night but it didn’t keep us awake and is a small price to pay for the central location. Ear plugs were provided but not needed.

Fantastic value for money. The property is extremely clean, staff are very friendly and professional, and the best part is the sensational location. You are literally 1 min walk to the Duomo and 2 min walk to the main shops. There is a tram stop right in front of the hotel too which is helpful. The location couldn’t be better. There is also a lift available for luggage if required.

The only thing to be mindful of is that the hotel is situated on a busy street, and it can get noisy at night with trams and cars. The hotel is kind enough to provide ear plugs in the room as there isn’t much else they can do. This wasn’t an issue for us but just something to be mindful of.

Balcony is a window on Milan’s street life. Amazing location — Metro station, taxi stand, Hop on Hop off — around the corner from the Duomo. Across the street from the best sandwich place in Milan. Quirky, but luxurious. High end coffee maker & electric teapot in the room. Complimentary candies. Chocolate-scented body gel & shampoo.

Tiny elevator, actually culturally preserved. No room for two of us, but worth the inconvenience for the quality of the room.

Very central, very clean. They were happy to hold the luggage in their store .

The elevator did not work in the morning, and we had to carry the bags up. This was a scheduled maintenance that they should have told. The air conditioner on one of the rooms did not work, and they could not fix it, but it was a cooler night. So it was manageable.

Clean. Friendly staff. Location can't be beat! Right at the Duomo. Little tricky finding the place at first. There are 2 hotels in one. Ring the bell and someone shows up to take you to the room. They collect occupancy tax at that point. Our room was quaint with street view and it was equipped with everything....even candies, biscuits, and coffees/teas. Lovely. Perfect spot for 2 days in Milan.

Liked everything! HOWEVER...for those sensitive to noise, there is a tram that passes frequently, which is loud and the bustle of the area can get loud. It does quiet down overnight. We accepted it as part of the ambiance of the location.

Great location and excellent. The room was large and very clean. Excellent bathroom and free water and snacks. We had no problem with noise. Now that I understand the check-in process I would book again. Great air conditioning.

There was no on-site reception. Communication was through an intercom; however, they were readily available and everything went smoothly. Staff was very helpful.

I had a lot of luggage and there are stairs at the entrance Also he private cars cannot stop outside the location. But saying that The Staff helped to accommodate these small draw backs and so compensated for this - Thank you so Much!
