Beautiful old building, quirky 1930’s original elevator and winding marble stairs, love how they’ve kept the quirky original features of the building and such a prime location too

Very historical building with old vintage features which really added to the experience. Very old style lift was an experience. Room was clean and had all necessary features including a kitchen area. bathroom had been upgraded and had a bidet. we were on the 4th floor so had some good views from the window. located right on the square so was easy to go out and pop back to the room.

We had read about the noise before hand so we were expecting it but it was difficult to go sleep mainly because of the trams running all night. They did provide ear plugs which I would use if I stay here again.

The location was fabulous - across the road from the Milan Duomo (Cathedral). The building was very old but the apartment (no. 301) was just like the photos - comfortable and safe. Our room looked out to the street but with the window closed there was minimal noise. The Pan market was a couple of blocks away for breakfast and snack supplies. Alberto and his nephew Guiseppe were in the small entry reception and they were helpful and friendly. The quaint lift was from 1930 - working well but very small - only 2 people can fit or 1 person 1bag. The stairs were the other option. The cafe downstairs was convenient and the food was good. The friendly waiter kept an eye out for us and was always smiling 😊.

All good. At first the entrance seemed tricky but we got used to the key system.

The apartment is in the best location, 1! minute walk from the Cathedral, half a minute from the metro! We were in a small apartment with a double bed on the third floor, which is well equipped, and the bed is very good. The management is nice, they take care of the luggage if needed, and unfortunately we had a little damage that we didn't even have to pay for. For that, special thanks to them! All attractions are easily accessible.

Nothing. I can't say anything bad, they cleaned every day, we got new towels, coffee capsules and even guest slippers.

Great location, exactly where you want to be for all of the touristy things. I had a very standard room that was actually quite large, it also had all the amenities if you need to cook in the room plus grocers nearby for shopping. The bathroom was very nice and it was overall very comfortable.

Not so much what I didn't like but just a note: this is a very standard Italian/European space meaning you use a very small elevator or climb a few flights of stairs. The bathroom, while large for European standards, is definitely not what many US people would consider roomy. If you are someone with mobility/size concerns, I would recommend finding a more modern option. I will also remind people that this is in a touristy area meaning there will be some noise later into the evening.

You cannot beat this location. It is a 2 minute walk to the Duomo and metro station, and right above a lovely cafe. It is also right across the road from the famous Al’Antico Vinaio panini shop. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

When I booked online with booking.com, it said the money would be taken out of my bank account before our stay. This wasn’t the case and we had to pay upon our arrival which we weren’t expecting and didn’t budget for. Unsure if this is a fault of booking.com or not, however this was the only negative about our stay.

From the very friendly welcome from Hassan to the view from my apartment it was all wonderful and I really enjoyed my stay in this amazing location literally seconds away from the Duomo and the centre of Milan. The tiny original elevator up to my floor was such a cute way to travel and once inside all the little details were extra special, I loved having a little kitchen area to make some snacks and the fridge was a huge help.. I would happily stay here again.

Being in the middle of a busy city results in some early morning noise but I kept reminding myself how lucky I was to be on holiday in a wonderful place and the noise of bins emptied and the streets being cleaned soon were forgotten.
