A beautiful hotel from which you will not want to leave, because it pleasantly pampers its guests not only with its atmosphere, but also with comfort and service. Excellent breakfast in the room, served by very helpful staff. Great location with easy access to the center of Milan. Private parking lot. If we ever return to Milan again, then only to this hotel. Thank you to all the staff at Principe di Savoia for a pleasant stay in one of the best hotels we have ever visited.

A longer wait for the car to be brought from the garage when we left the hotel, but we understand that it is not easy to solve some things immediately.

Really very nice hotel. It’s well situated very close to a metro station which pretty much gets you anywhere you want to get to. The room we had was large, comfortable and well appointed. There is a great gym and spa with a reasonably sized swimming pool. The restaurant is lovely and there is a lounge area serving food and drinks and a good atmospheric bar. Staff were amazingly helpful, courteous and knowledgeable.

It’s on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

Second time staying here. We love the classic interior and overall vibe. Staff is very nice and attentive. Breakfast buffet is excellent — honestly the main reason we keep coming back. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The only downside is the so-called “voluntary” 5% surcharge for staff that’s already added to the bill. Voluntary would be asking if you’d like to add something, not putting it on automatically. At ~€800-1000 a night, 5% is substantial. We didn’t have it removed because doing so in front of staff and other guests would have been embarrassing. This is unusual, especially since we’d been tipping staff throughout our stay. The hotel should have more empathy than to put guests in that position at checkout.

I was charged for "Voluntary Staff contribution" which I was not aware neither when I book the hotel nor i did check in. They charged us 55 euro/night under this tax, Staff was very polite and I have nothing against them. But charging that way is not fair from the managment.

The Principe Di Savoia is one of those special places that once you check in, you never want to leave. Everything about this hotel is just wonderful. The staff were friendly and so, so helpful. The building and rooms are beautiful - perfectly blending traditional with contemporary design. Our bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the bathroom was completely luxe. When we were able to tear ourselves away from our sumptuous room, we loved hanging out in the foyer lounge and enjoyed the cocktail bar and wonderful Acanto restaurant. The free shuttle into the centre of Milan was also a treat. A stay at the Principe is absolute must if you want to treat yourself. We can't wait to return.

Elegant hotel with valet car parking in the centre of the city. A most convenient feature is that the air conditioning can be fully turned off. The hotel bar is a great convenience and comfortable environment after an evening in the city.

Room service failed after three requests to bring drinking water to the room, and that there is no provided free of charge drinking water in the room, is very inconvenient. The bathroom and the shower has no high quality soap and shampoo, only squeezy bottles fixed on the wall above the bath, which is very basic and not at all the standard anticipated for a 5 star hotel.

It’s astonishingly beautiful and like stepping back in a moment of time. It’s tastefully opulent and the attention to detail is incredible. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff should also be noted - the service is exceptional.

No free WiFi in your room (which is just a standard no matter where you stay). Given the price per night, we thought this was very poor. We were also charged 2x “Voluntary Staff Contribution” fees (to the value of around 40 euro) - when we questioned what these were and asked for them to be refunded, they obliged but with no explanation. That felt a little shady to us.

The property is part of the Dorchester collection and from the minute you step in you feel the quality. We have stayed in many hotels but this one was special. Each and every staff member is a credit to the hotel - thank you to both Beatrice and Juliana who made sure we had an amazing stay. Don’t hesitate book this hotel you will love it! Good spacious rooms, fantastic buffet breakfast, free shuttle service and great spa! We will be back.

It's a beautiful hotel, old style but not old fashioned. Very professional and friendly staff. The concierge provided us a long list of recommended restaurants and did also bookngs for us. It's about 20-25 minutes to walk to Duomo, but there is also a shuttle from the hotel. Deluxe room was very nice and clean.

On the invoice they surprise you with a ”voluntary staff contribution” for each day you stay. It would be correct to re-name it, because its not voluntary. The beautiful Principe bar is opened only limited time from 18:00. The breakfast is very nice, but it's maybe not so luxurious as you may excpect from a 5star hotel. Would be nice to have coffee and tea set in the room.
