Good hotel in a great location if you want to be close to the train station like us. Room was very good size with table and chairs too. After asking the breakfast lady if they had gluten free bread, she went to a cupboard & filled plate with bread, madeleine type cakes & crackers all of which were gluten free. They have a secure luggage room.

As other reviewers have commented a negative has to be absence of any tea or coffee facilities in the bedroom which are standard in most hotels. We also found the Reception staff quite stern in comparison to the cheerful porter or helpful breakfast lady.

Great location, close to the train station and also walkable to the Duomo and other tourist sites. Also close to various restaurants. Staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast was good.

No jug, coffee, tea, cups or glasses in the room. Only a couple of paper cups in the fridge if you want a drink of water.

It was our second time staying in the hotel, so we knew what to expect, and we were happy to be back there. The hotel is quite conveniently located close to the central train station and close access to metro and tram. This makes it a perfect place either to get to the city center or go for a day trip by train. The room was very specious, furnished to make you feeling the old charm from times gone by. Our room and bathroom were cleaned daily, so we always found them spotless clean upon return in the late afternoon or in the evening. Many nice places close by to go out for lunch, dinner or just coffee and cake. Friendly staff and all of them very helpful. If we come back to Milan, this will be the place to stay at, for sure.

The breakfast is generally good in terms of choice, quality and taste, if you are among the ones having breakfast early in the morning (shortly after it starts at 7 am). However, having breakfast later during the weekend was a bit embarrassing, as we found empty platters, and we had to wait for food to be re-stocked. At the meantime, we had to eat whatever was left, so no choice there. This was not a nice experience for a four-star hotel and the price you pay.

Good location, great breakfast, helpful staff. The room was great and comfortable, it was bigger than others in the hotel tough, had a great view, bright (2 windows), toilet also bigger than usual. The air conditioner (different than some reviews I saw) was working and was cool (is just a matter to speak to reception to reset it). The hotel roof top is also very nice for a drink with a beautiful sunset. There are restaurants right besides the hotel. Central Station is at a 6 minutes walk (easy even with some luggage). I had a great time and a perfect stay.

Nothing. I had a perfect stay. But again, the room I was in made a big difference for its size, comfort and brightness.

We stayed at Hotel Marconi in a triple room that was impressively spacious, including the bathroom. Our group arrived at different times, with the first person reaching the hotel around 11 AM—and the staff graciously allowed an early check-in. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to start the day. One of the best features was its location: just a short walk from Milan’s central train station, which made traveling around the city and beyond incredibly convenient. The hotel also kindly stored our suitcases for over 10 days while we trekked through the Dolomites. Upon returning to Milan, we were met with heavy rain, and Lucas at the reception desk went above and beyond by arranging car transportation to our next hotel near the airport. Overall, Hotel Marconi’s hospitality, helpful staff, and ideal location made our stay smooth, comfortable, and memorable.

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from Milan Central Station. Metro, buses, and trams are all easily accessible, almost right outside the door. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Special thanks for the great coffee!

The only (minor) downside was the breakfast — some of the serving trays were already empty when I arrived around 9:00, and they weren’t refilled, even though breakfast goes until 10. There was supposed to be yogurt or milk for the cereals/muesli, but I couldn’t find any — maybe they had run out too. That said, there was still a good variety overall, so I definitely didn’t leave hungry.

Great location with nice amenities and pleasant staff. Breakfast was very nice and the outdoor space on floor 5 and the rooftop are nice bonuses.

This was an excellent location close to the Milan Central Train Station - about 8 minutes on foot. The hotel was very clean and the room and bathroom were huge! The view from our room was nice and we had two windows that opened giving us fresh air. There is a rooftop patio but it was unfortunately closed during our visit. There is another patio but we were unsure if we could use it or not. The breakfast was very good with lots of options for everyone. We walked from here to the Duomo di Milano in about 25-30 minutes and we also used the subway system which is two minutes away on foot so easily accessible if someone prefers not to walk. Lots of restaurants on the streets around this hotel and there is a lobby bar with a nice place to sit and enjoy your drink. We would come back!

We wished the rooftop patio had been open so we could enjoy the view but I guess we were a bit early in the season. Nothing that we didn't like!

Room temperature was too high and not possible to regulate. A suggestion to breakfast team. Please make sure the food is available till end of breakfast time.

We stayed at Hotel Marconi on Feb19-21 2025, a 10mins top walk to/from Milano Central and/or MXP Airport Shuttle and/or Metro Republica that gets u to Duomo with 2 train stops, lots of restaurants of different cuisines, cafes, groceries closed by and a tram in front of our room/hotel (noise didnt bother us tho). The room size was spacious enough for 2 ppl (Rm 105) but a lil tight for 3 beds (rm 501). The staff were really nice. The lady staff let me checked in at 1pmsh and also accommodated my 2beds request. The gentleman who assisted me on checked out time was helpful and nice and reminded me to be aware of my surroundings when he learned that I would walk to the airport shuttle bus station by myself at 5am (bus station is close to train station and not recommended). That shows they cared for their guests safety and would do their best to accommodate request if at all possible. Breakfast was included in the price we paid and there were scrambled and hard boiled eggs and meat, cheese, pastries and the usual Italian bfast spread. We stayed in Rome, Bologna, Florence, Venice and Milan (last stop before we flew back to US), and pretty much spread was the same. You would need to request for your coffee/drinks from the servers who tried their very best to bring your drinks and might take longer if there were lots of guests at the same time. I ate early bfast so no biggie.

Breakfast - Personally I would rather make my own coffee thru coffee machine vs. asking the hard working servers for coffee as it could get busy during breakfast time.
