Great location, few steps off the metro tunnel (accessible by stairs) with a total of 5 min walk to Milano Centrale. Good selection for breakfast. Rooms of decent standard although compact. Sheets and towels white and of good cleanness. Spare pillows, possibly to open window for fresh air, roller shutters for complete darkness and AC were comfortable features.

Welcome at check was average. Staff seemed not amused working at this hotel. Coffee was far from great. In-room Nescafe in sachets were better than the coffee at breakfast. Such a shame considering Italian coffee standards. Works in progress towards lift service improvement are need but not a great experience.

I recently stayed at Canova Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and located in a very convenient area. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service at the front desk. the young Italian who was working when I checked in, was incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful. They made the check-in process quick and smooth, gave great local recommendations, and even went the extra mile to make sure my room met my preferences. Their warm welcome really set the tone for a great stay. Wi- Fi was very good Highly recommended—I’ll definitely return! 🚫

Room Size

A fantastic family stay by God’s grace. We had an exceptional experience at this hotel. The prime location offered easy access to major attractions and public transport, making it a perfect base. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, with great amenities. While the food was delicious, we felt the variety could be improved. However, the staff truly shone friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. The reception team's eagerness to assist with luggage and the ample lockers in the lounge were thoughtful touches. Highly recommend.

The second day cleaning staff came in the room w/o me having the sign up They cleaned the room while we were having BF in resturant They did not clean the room well, didn't make the bed nicely, and didn't change shower mat Lastly the staff wouldn't touch our luggage, we had to load and unload four times ourselves which was a bit peculiar

Great stay at hotel canova. It is a 3 star hotel. We reached around 10am and the hotel staff offered us our room way since it was ready then, appreciate this gesture as the air travel was tiring and this was welcoming from the hotel. Hotel is very accessible to the central station and there is a mini Mart near the hotel, two or three shops away,, so very convenient. Just note all stores close around 7pn daily . I was around end September. Had a great time in Milan and highly recommend Hotel Canova

Only one note is that the hotel requests guests to pass the hotel room key whenever we leave for our day tours..since it is a 3 star hotel, it does not require the hotel room key to scan in the lift to access the hotel rooms. Not much security in this aspect

The hotel is located very close to the central train station in Milan and has easy access into the underground tube. The room was a good size especially for 3 people, we had plenty of space. They were also very modern and the bathroom had a lovely walk in shower. The receptionists were always attentive and were pleasant to deal with. I didn’t make it to the breakfast. However, the other 2 did and said it was worth the price.

The only slight issue we encountered was that a bidet was situated right in-front of the toilet and with us all being 6ft it was a bit tight. However, it wasn’t that big of a deal as the rest of bathroom definitely made up for that slight hiccup!

Loved the room, although we had the standard double it did not disappoint the brown laminate look walls with matching built in wardrobe was really nice the huge head board with the ambient lighting around it was nice to. The room was always at the perfect temperature after lots of walking of a day exploring the city and heading into the main city centre we come back and both fell asleep for an hour or so because it was so comfortable. Like most hotels the safe was easy to operate enter your desired code close and press enter and it stores your code to keep your belongings safe. The staff were fantastic rooms absolutely spotless couldn't fault anything. We didn't try the breakfast until the morning we were coming home and that did not disappoint for €15 each there was more than enough for everyone's taste. We loved how close it was to centrale milan train station although it was a 30-35 minute walk to the duomo milan it was worth the walk past all the designer shops. Once we recieved our room key and got to our floor there was 2 maintenance men working outside our room they immediately left and stopped the drilling which I thought was very respectful. If your looking to head into the main city the 60 bus is what you need it's €2 per family and you tap and ride Would 100% use this hotel again highly recommend

Couldn't think of anything I would change

The location was perfect, just 3 mins walk from the milano centrale, we didn't have to spend much on transportation. Also there was already a hop on hop off right next to the station so we didn't really have to use the metro since we only stayed for 2 days.

The space in the room were so tight it's so hard to open the luggage esp if you have a big one. Only one person could pass to the other side of the bed but it's still perfect if you're only gonna have a short stay in milan. I still recommend this hotel.
