The location is close to Central Station but far enough away from the crowds, on a lovely street in a quaint neighborhood. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, including the man who worked at the bar the evening I was there. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in till the moment I left. You can pre-order items to be placed in your room before your arrival, and everything I asked for was there. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in Milan, and Hotel Berna was the first to do that. I had a single room with a very comfortable bed, nice-sized bathroom, and lovely view to the rear courtyard. Everything was nice and clean. I felt very much at home. Thank you!

There was nothing that I didn’t like. Except I forgot to take the yellow plastic duck home with me!

Excellent location a short walk from the main train station. Cool old-school styling and thoughtful amenities friendly and helpful staff.

Only downside was the pop-up drain in the tub did not seal properly so a bath was not possible so a bit of a tease to have a nice big tub with Jacuzzi jets, but unable to use.

The location is very good, adjacent to 2 metro lines stops and central train station. Staff very helpful. Breakfast amazing! Very rich snd tasty. Bed is very comfortable and the room - quite. Everything what you wish on your vacation.

The price is high....

The hotel is in a great position walking distance from the railway station. The staff were absolutely amazing & spoke good English. For us Australians this was a real bonus. The staff were so accommodating nothing was too much trouble. There were little extras around -a free tea & coffee station. Happy hour included free substantial nibbles that were great after a tiring day sightseeing. It is not the fanciest hotel but would rate as a home away from home comfortable hotel that won’t break the bank. I would highly recommend the Berna hotel

The only thing I can suggest is to make a ramp for persons with reduced mobilities in the entrance hall of the hotel. Currently there are only few stairs but I found very useful that ramp for persons that are in a mobile chair and in case you have heavy luggage's difficult to be lift. Everything else was excellent on this hotel.

Felt very safe and secure and was a one minute walk from the metro exit. About 4/5 mins to central train station. The room had a window overlooking some garden area and there was birdsong, I didn’t expect this in Milan. Free drinks given in room fridge. Free wifi. Luggage storage facility was efficient. Room was more spacious than I expected. Excellent shower pressure and temperature.

They had used bleach to clean the bathroom and possibly not rinsed off enough as room smelled strongly of bleach on arrival and into the next day… Needed to air out the room. Need to update hair-drier. When showering the screen was not wide enough to block water from getting all over the floor.

The stay was incredible from start to finish. The staff were extremely helpful, caring (even gave us an umbrella whilst we were walking out the main door as it was raining one of the days) and accommodating - they were so good with our 2 year old. It’s the perfect location for a family especially with young children. The main station/ metros etc. are all within a few minutes walk and only a few stops away from the Duomo which was perfect. We also hopped on a short train to Lake Como for the day! We had one of the newer rooms on floor 5 which was very comfortable, quiet, roomy and even included a free mini bar! I’d recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be returning if we visit Milan again!

Close to Milan central station, clean property, friendly staff. Breakfast was also very good.

To enter the building from street level there are some stairs. The elevator is actually tiny. 2 people with 2 suitcases is all that will fit. There are also stairs in the hallways on upper levels (we were on level 3 and have to go up and down stairs in the hallway with luggage to get to our room and back to the elevator) picture added. The air conditioning cannot actually be controlled from the room even though there is a monitor. Ours kept showing that it was “Spento” (worn out) we could not turn it off or adjust it. The room ended up very hot and stuffy resulting in having to sleep with a window open which allowed construction/street noise into our room throughout the night/early morning.

Perfect location within 5 minutes from a metro line which directly links you to the rest of the city.. and the central train station also within 5 minute walk. Very welcoming staff who gave recommendations on where to visit. Free mini bar of water and fizzy drinks on arrival. Daily refills of the water. Very clean and new towels and bed made daily.

Opted for two twin bed however one kept moving across the floor on any slight movement in sleep or when getting on the bed which left a big gap at the head of the bed so pillows kept dropping off of the back

This is my 2nd time staying at the hotel. Affordable rates for my stay. Staff were kind and friendly. Very helpful when the fan and tv in my room wasn’t working, they tried to have it fixed. When it couldn’t be fixed in time, they kindly offered an alternative room. Room in the main hotel was clean and safe. Hotel is near to Milano centrale station. And hotel staff gave helpful travel advice e.g metro to get to the airport. Hotel breakfast buffet variety was great and more than sufficient. If I was staying in Milan, I would stay here again.
