My room was enormous with plenty of windows and natural light, but with shutters to keep the sun out if needed. Comfortable bed, nice big bathroom and excellent air conditioning and wifi. The breakfast is the healthiest I have experienced in Italy, yet still a good variety. Outdoors offers several areas to relax in lovely garden settings.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, but be aware that the location is well out of the town so if you don’t have a car or don’t want to catch taxis, be prepared for a 15 minute walk to the bus stop then 20 minute bus ride to city centre and train station. On the other hand is an easy flat walk and is lovely to be out near fields, big trees and to hear birds singing.

Set in a very very quiet location just a few meters off a main road in a rural area. This hotel seems to have been recently renovated. It is very well kept. Very easy to reach by car. We found the location very good considering that it is only 20/30 mins away from Modena centre by car, It is alos around 15mins drive to Enzo Ferrari Museum, 20mins drive to Maranello (the other Ferrari Museum) and if you are keen on Lomborghinis, Lambo's factory ad museum are just 35mins drive away in the outskirts of Modena, in Bologna. Breakfast was delicious. Roberto and the receptionist (i don't recall his name) were very helpful and gave us some good names of restaurants where we could have a good pizza or traditional dishes. They also gave us some tips on what we would be expecting when visiting bologna. Room and bathroom were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Also amazing views of the country side. Parking is hassle free and you can park free of charge. I'm surprised that this accomodation is only rated as 3 star. With some further little adjustments this hotel can easily be upgraded to a 4-star hotel. I will definitely recommend it,

I really like this hotel .. even if it was a little bit far away from the city of Modena. The room was large and well situated. The setting is beautiful and very quiet. The staff was very friendly and we had some good conversations. The parking was super easy in front of the hotel ... even though a sign warned not to leave any valuables in your car. Luckily there were not break-ins the night we stayed there ... so, it might not really be a concern.

Not much to dislike here... a bit of an odd smell from cleaning liquids in the corridors but the room didn't have that.

Everything. Everything was wonderful. The place is enchanting and the people are the nicest people. Honestly, for what we paid? I kept thinking this was a venue for a wedding or some type of party. It was gorgeous. The staff was incredibly nice, super helpful. The breakfast is small but very good and homey. They make you real coffee and real orange juice. It was unbelievable this was so cheap. Absolutely loved it. I strong recommend it. And I recommend the proprietary start marketing it as a small wedding/christning venue because it was lovely.

Breakfast was great with a huge range. Room large with comfortable bed and good air-conditioning. Heaps of parking. Well located near main road but super quiet. Very well priced hotel. Staff very helpful and had a great dinner recommendation.

Room had poor outlook and room dark so was a bit depressing. No tissues, kettle or ability to make hot drinks. There was not much of an area to relax in outside of room, so I felt a bit confined to the dark room.

This is an amazing place ! The hotel should have at least 4 starts, why only 3? It is more or less like castle with beautiful surroundings in the nature, very close to Modena city. I enjoyed staying there and I will go back there if I have the chance! Since I love the nature and the castle is right in the middle of the nature that made it a perfect stay for me. I love the amazing breakfast specially made for people who like healthy things, great variety of fruits, fruit salads, amazing yogurts and a lot of pastry. And all very very tasty! I would love to see that in most hotels! You need a car to get there as everyone said, so you should get one :)

As a small thing, I arrived Saturday evening and looks like around the Modena city you won't find anything open to eat at that time, would be great if they had a sandwich or something, maybe some peanuts or so in the minibar, just for these kind of situations. Would be also nice to have some scramble eggs in the morning...not big things.

The property is out of town so a car is needed. It is clean and well presented. The staff are friendly and the breakfasts are very good. We have stayed in other properties in the area and this is our preferred location. A good choice for those visiting the area with a car. It is a 10/15min drive to the centre of Modena. Only 30/40 mins drive from Bologna Airport.

This was our third stay here. On this occasion we had a faulty room heater which we could not turn off when it was not needed. The bed in this room was not as comfortable as on our previous stay in another room only earlier in the week.

Loved everything about my stay. The property is beautiful (note that it’s a little bit outside of Modena but that’s actually what we were looking for), rooms super comfortable and staff were really lovely. Also - they were really dog friendly and even gave us some treats upon check in! Marco also recommended me some restaurants and helped get a reservation, which was highly appreciated.

Firstly the staff! Marco was really nice and helpful to us always, giving super dinner recommendations - where we ate was super and looked after us for an evening beer, always helpful and nice! But everyone was just so nice there! made us feel so welcome! and Anna in reception was great! The property was lovely, we really liked the main building’s look and feel! we stayed in the newer building on the right of the main - it was lovely, clean and comfortable! The beds were lovely, we had a double and a single. we had a little balcony also on the room. the bathroom was perfect. we loved the breakfast- a great continental choice - you will not be hungry leaving!

Honestly nothing! We wanted a hotel not in the town, this was perfect!

Very friendly people with both great English and German language skills (as well as Italian!). They provide a lovely varied and generous breakfast and the rooms are spacious. We also appreciated the use of their bikes for the short ride (5km) into Modena Old Town. I would gladly come back.
