Our stay exceeded our expectations. Benedetta goes above and beyond to meet her guests needs. She is so kind and the stay was made so enjoyable by all the extra personal touches and the beautiful environment of these restored rooms. It was so special to be able to enjoy such quiet, serene, bespoke luxury. Benedetta communicates so well with the guest to ensure their arrival and departure are seamless and is obviously so passionate about providing a wonderful experience for her guests. We felt so privileged to have been able to have this opportunity, and are very grateful for her hospitality.

Fantastic location in the center of the old city of Modena and lovely 17th century apartments that have all the modern conveniences. Had an elevator (lift), fridge, nice shower, bathrobes, nice toiletries, linens etc. One can tell that great care has been put into the decor, furnishings, and all the little extra touches, like chocolates, little pastries and drinks in the salon etc. The host, Benedetta, was wonderful - warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The free street parking right outside the building was an unexpected bonus :). Highly recommend!!

Nothing… except the air-conditioning was a little weak, which was the case with most of the places we stayed at, so I think that’s just how they are in Italy.

This little hotel is a hidden gem. It is a small hotel located inside a building accessible from a courtyard close to the centro storico. Benedetta is an excellent host. She made us feel very welcome and arranged transportation for us when needed . The hotel has a salon which is a lovely room with chairs and tables and couches. Coffee and tea and sweet treats such as apricot tarts and cake are provided all day. We were able to relax there in between outings and exploration. We highly recommend this property.

Benni who is operating the property has been extremely helpful. She’s always there to greet you with a smile went out of the way to be helpful to a non-Italian speaking traveler. Whether calling for a taxi, making local recommendations or setting appointments with local establishments. She runs the place with grace and commitment and is a star. The property itself has a period setting with high ceilings, nice chandeliers, tall windows and drapes and has been very tastefully done. Her nespresso coffee selection is top class and u have the machines in the breakfast lounge as well as the room. This is really the best experience you can get if you’re staying in Modena and I cannot praise the property and service enough!

Benedetta went above and beyond to make our stay incredible. The hotel and the room were gorgeous. We were supplied with free water, pop, shampoo, body wash, cream, and slippers. We had to leave early for a couple tours but Benedetta made us a goodie bag so we could still have breakfast. She called a cab for us and let us checkout and leave our bags to pick up after we were done. I could not have asked for anything more. I would never want to stay anywhere else in Modena!

There is nothing that I didn’t like.

The location on a quiet side street near the old part of town was perfect. A short walk to the sights and the market and various restaurants. The room was very large, with tea and coffee makers, a small refrigerator, and a seating area. The food put out in the morning was perfect for a light breakfast. Benedetta was a gracious hostess and we would definitely stay again!

Beautiful boutique accommodation. Rooms tastefully decorated and generous in size. The breakfast provided in the lounge area was "Italian style" of pastries, cakes, fruits, cereals, yoghurts, juices, coffee and teas. The staff were very personable and friendly and provided alot of information on the area and provided restaurant recommendations which were excellent. The complimentary water and soft drinks in the in room minibar were a lovely touch and appreciated.

Everything was perfect.

It feels very special because it's an historic property and right in the old city. It's very unique in that way. There are many charming touches. It feels as if you live there! We also had a lot of questions about restaurants and things and Bernadetta, who runs the hotel was very friendly and helpful!

Parking can be a challenge because it's right in the city.

Salotto delle Arti is a fabulous boutique hotel right in the center of old Modena. It felt like we were in a palace. We stayed in the Cacchia room. It was a wonderful stay starting with the very clear and exact instructions on how to complete our self check-in as well as a parking permit which one needs to have displayed. Benedetta the hotel owner is just delightful. She is so friendly and helpful. She gave us greet recommendations on where to eat as well as places to visit. I would definitely stay at Salotto delle Arti again.

Everything was absolutely perfect! I don’t want to sound negative. My only suggestion is that while the breakfast was ample. It consisted mainly of different cakes and sweet pastries as well as fresh fruit and yogurt. It would have been nice if there was a toaster or some cheese as not everyone enjoys eating sweet food in the morning.

The property is exceptionally beautiful with very thought-through interior, the living room (or a shared dining space for breakfast) truly is an art gallery. There is a breakfast in the morning and the dining space is available for the guests thought the day with some small snack and beverages. Our room was spotlessly clean and beautiful, it had everything we need. The bathroom amenities are from Luara Biagiotti and smell amazing. The location is very convenient, it's 1 min walk from Osteria Francescana and is in the heart of Modena. Benedetta is an amazing host and one of the nicest people we met during our stay in Italy. She was happy to help us with anything: she gave us plenty of recommendation on various places to visit in Modena, gave us a steamer for clothes, kept our bags for storage after the check out, helped us ordering a taxi. Benedetta also told us to contact her even during the night if we need anything. We will surely stay here again on our next visit to Modena.
