The resort was modern, clean, light and airy in the middle of the countryside near Noto. The staff was amazing , really going out of their way to help. We tried to have a spa session but the timing did not work out as it was only available late pm after we already checked out, we should have stayed an extra day! The highlight was the restaurant. Kudos to the chef for his delicate, delicious and well presented food. Plentiful too and very reasonable prices We ate there both nights. Fantastic

The pool seemed a little dirty and green near the edges. Mind you it was late Sept and it did not get much use for the season end I guess

The staff was very accommodating and welcoming and the receptionist was available throughout our entire stay. They also took care of scheduling taxis for us whenever we needed. They knew English very well as well. The hotel was very clean and very quiet and had a lot of areas where you can sit in peace and enjoy the view. The pool area is beautiful and very relaxing. The breakfast offered has a wide selection of sweet pastries and also offered a range of savoury options too. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel is in a very good location, very relaxing. Had dinner at the hotel, it was really good food, you can see that the chef prepared the menu from the heart and hard work. As for the staff they were all helpful, especially the young guy at the bar, sorry never took your name.

The room partition is a bit thin, so you can hear sometimes the noise from the other room. The spa opens up way too late.

We loved this hotel! The staff are very friendly and it's a very relaxing hotel. We especially spent time relaxing by the pool. Having access to the free fitness centre was a plus for us.

Seeing that it's summer, we would have loved if there was some sort of entertainment in the evenings.

While cozy and comfortable, our room showed minor wear and tear, mirroring the bathroom. Modernizing electrical outlets for today's gadgets and multiple devices would be a welcome update. However, a special shoutout to housekeeping for their impeccable service – the efficiency and cleanliness is commendable! The dining experience is another feather in the cap for Pietre Nere. Every meal was a treat, from the delightful breakfasts served with the freshest ingredients to the BBQ lunch that tantalized our taste buds. A special mention for the dinner we had - the waiter was the epitome of hospitality. His genuine desire to ensure our happiness and satisfaction with our meal was palpable. Cons: Wifi could be more robust outside the reception area. The gym temperature needs adjustment. Lack of modern electrical outlets in the rooms. Despite the minor drawbacks, the warmth and dedication of the staff overshadow them. I wholeheartedly give Pietre Nere Resort & Spa a stellar rating and remain hopeful that they'll iron out the few kinks for an even better experience in the future. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The restaurant is not tailored for families with young children and youths who love to eat bulky plates and the spa opens very late hence one cannot opt for treatments in the mornings on week days. The rest all amazing

Lots of places call themselves "spas," but this was really is. You are above the valley where Modica is, it's lovely, really quiet. Breakfast was out of this world, every morning. We were almost late for one breakfast (jet lag) but the staff was kind enough to wait for us to arrive. Our room faced the pool and if the weather had been warmer, I am sure that we would have taken advantage, it looked beautiful. We had somewhere to travel by taxi every day and the staff was super helpful setting up travel for our daily trips.

I can't think of anything that I "didn't like"

The hotel is modern, spacious and fairly kept. Parking was very good. Room are quite large and comfortable. The staff were professional and ready to help. Breakfast was very good, especially the sweet section. The pool was fantastic and we enjoyed our time by the pool.

The only problem was other inconsiderate guests. Family with young kids made havoc on our floor.

I was disappointed when I ordered fresh orange juice one morning and they got me processed orange juice probably believing that they fooled us! I was in a hurry that morning and didn’t even bother complaining but I know for a fact that when others were on duty we did get real fresh orange juice. It’s a real pity that the good image of this hotel is tainted because the employee on duty did not feel like squashing oranges on the day!

Breakfast worth it. The Michelin star restaurant in the hotel is actually good value for money. Will definetely come back

The ac was not strong enough to beat the heat in d room. And The Internet connection leaves much to be desired
