The room was not within walking distance of the old city and parking anywhere in Sicily seems to be an issue, even in late March. There was 1 or 2 parking spots within the gates of the property, but it was not an easy in or out of the gates and we ended up parking on the road instead. Our room was very small with only one chair, (we had to take the other chair out in order to have some place for a suitcase.) Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

Since the rooms were small, it would have been nice to have the breakfast area available to sit and relax at the end of the day. I understand that some people would take advantage, but in all the other B&B's that we stayed at, if we used the breakfast room during some other time, we were always very respectful of the area and cleaned up when we were done.

We stayed at La Piccola Locanda a few weeks ago and were heartbroken to have only booked it for one night. The place is so beautiful, with a lovely garden and the room is extremely comfortable - it even has a tv with Netflix, which was super nice to chill a bit after a long day and the shower was perfect. The people who work at the B&B are lovely and welcoming (a special thanks to the amazing Antonella ❤️). But the absolute cherry on the top was the breakfast! Hands down one of the best we ever had Italy! Abundant options (even salty ones like breads, cheese, prosciutto), fruits and homemade pastries. Do yourself a favor and stay at least 2 nights here! We can’t wait to come back!

The place was really nice but the people were even better. The breakfasts were something special: every day, the owner provides delicious Modica home-made chocolates together with other home-made local specialities. Furthermore, breakfast is served by a very kind and welcoming lady who provides you with whatever you need. Tangerins hanging from the trees branches were also at disposal in the house citrus grove!

The B&B also offers you the possibility to park your car in a housecourtyard. But be careful: it must be a small one! ...or you have to be particularly able to park it in small places!

We enjoyed the gardens and its passageways. The rooms are good size even the bathroom. We enjoyed the breakfast as well. The staff is very helpful.

We would have preferred if the name of the hotel was more visible from the side we entered especially in the dark like when we arrived. One has to be very careful and better ask for help to go out of the hotel with the car since the driver cannot see the cars coming and the road is narrow with quite a lot of cars passing.

If you're planning to spend your last night in Sicily, La Piccola Locanda in Modica should be your destination of choice. Parking can often be an issue in busy towns, but not here. The availability of inside parking was not just convenient but also gave us peace of mind about the safety of our vehicle. The owner is an incredibly nice lady who went above and beyond to accommodate us. On our last day, as we planned to explore Modica before heading to Pozzallo for the ferry, she graciously offered to keep our luggage in her office. While in Modica, don’t miss out on visiting Café Adamo. Their pastries are sinfully delicious and round off the experience of this delightful town perfectly. I highly recommend La Piccola Locanda for anyone looking to explore Modica or needing a comforting stop before catching a ferry. You will leave with fond memories and perhaps even a bit of reluctance to say goodbye to Sicily. Would I stay again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it to friends and family? In a heartbeat. Beautiful property with garden filled with fruit trees. Comfortable room & very nice bkfst. Good & helpful friendly staff. Cozy, old remodeled house with nice amenities. Fridge in the room. Good WiFi. Inside parking is available. Loved the room with balcony. Bakery across the street.

The host was a very nice lady, the accomodation was comfy, real good value for what you pay, and the garden is really zen. Unfortunately I missed the breakfast as I was sleeping due to a wedding party :), so maybe next time.

I walked around the area, but there are no sidewalk for pedestrians, so you need to be comy to walk on the road or take the car everywhere you go.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful, well equipped, very clean and in an excellent location. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. I could also park my car inside the property. I will definitely go again!

The property is just outside Modica BAssa historic centre. A 5 minute drive gets you there. Private parking is inside a gated courtyard, so it's secure. Room was adequately sized with a comfortable bed and easily warmed up. Spotlessly clean. Bathroom is also adequately sized with good pressure in the shower. The owner is a very nice lady who also offered home made Modica chocolate. Good wifi. A breakfast room was well equipped and things left there for the morning breakfast included juices, ham/cheese/mozzarella/tomatoes, home made cake, a coffee machine and kettle for tea, milk etc. Highly recommended

It's not a complaint, just a note that if you arrive by car you need to go from the back entrance from the road behind to enter the courtyard. Google maps will take you to the front where you cannot get in.

Beautiful facility - small house with 5 bedrooms. Gorgeous sunny breakfast room with great choice of food and lovely attendant. Lovely gardens set back from the road.

Parking provided but very tight to access from to laneway. Not close to restaurants.
