Special place, that lets you see how old italian house looks like from inside - especially the dinning room feels more like castle, than B&B. Friendly owner, with lots of tips what to see in the area. Go to the viewpoints! Room has everything you need. Appreciate the heater! Parking in front of the building was hard to find - but there is a free parking lot at the end of the town, near bus stop - 5min walking.Parked there without problem. Different information about tax written in the room than on Booking - In the end the Booking has it right. Breakfast with many options was delicious.

A truly unique experience! I stayed in a palatial accommodation surrounded by the aristocratic family’s historical furniture – it felt like traveling back in time. The value for money was excellent; it’s rare to find such a special stay at this price. What made it even more memorable was the family itself: several generations, from the grandfather to the grandchildren, all work together here, and each of them was incredibly kind and attentive. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for something truly authentic and unforgettable.

On a scale of 10, we would give this property, beautiful Sara and her charming father, Franco, a 20!!! This beautiful B&B is exquisite in every way! And filled with the love and appreciation of family. It belonged to great great grandparents, and has been passed on through generations, and SO well cared for, so cherished! We were filled with awe and wonder at the gorgeous painted ceilings, original tile floors, family photos and history on the walls, exquisite antique furnishings. We were totally honored to get to stay here!! Sara and family get a 20+ on hospitality, grace, and warmth. Add to that, the most comfortable bed in a month of travel, a spectacular location and views from our room, and breakfasts and coffees that were heavenly! Beyond delicious! That said, the very BEST part of our stay was getting to share time with Sara, her partner, and father. We looked forward to seeing them each morning. These connections across our world are so important!! We are taking them home in our hearts and memories! Cherished!! The very BEST reflection of warmth, open friendships, and grace so genuine among Sicilians! We love them and will miss them!

We LOVED everything!!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful Palazzo. We were welcomed in person by our host, shown around the home we shared for five days (which had been built over 200 years before by a great great great grandfather), and treated like family throughout our stay. Our room was magnificent with a fresco’ed ceiling, large (soundproof) French doors leading to our balcony, and a large, well equipped bath. Breakfast was an enhanced traditional Sicilian meal, fresh and tasty every morning.

We did not find anything that did not meet our needs.

Fantastic place in the center of Modica. A true palace. Very impressive entrance and courtyard. Our room had true frescos on the ceiling. Very stylish, clean and conveniently located. Easy free parking in front of the palazzo (in September). Very good breakfast.

A few more hooks for clothes in the bathroom would help, but the bathroom was nice and clean.

I loved staying at the Palazzo I’ll Cavaliere with it’s beautiful historic charm. The room 4 Baronessa was large, very comfortable & clean with beautiful 19 century furniture. The location is perfect & the view of the cathedral & upper Modica from the balcony is stunning!

Hosts were very very help full and accommodating. They would go out of their way to satisfy your needs. Room was very clean and spacious. Hosts also helped with some very important information we needed on the spot

Description on Booking.com said all areas are wheel chair friendly but we found difficulties to this effect

I loved everything about this property, from the staff, to the location, to the decor that made us feel like we were living in the history books! Modica is a VERY hilly town, and we had a group of 9 whose ages ranges from 8 to 78 years old. Since the hotel is on the main road, we did not need to climb any hills unless we wanted to! It was located close to everything we needed. We will 100% be back to this beautiful town and amazing hotel!

Friendly host Gianpiero whose family has owned this beautiful home for 4 generations...he let me have early check in and greeted me with good knowledge of tourist sites and a map. Beautiful room in old Palazzo environment which I enjoyed...No modern IKEA or plastic. Location very central 10 minutes from bus station. Single bed booked and paid for but room was big and bed was more like a double which I really enjoyed. Excellent value for money.

Lovely old Palazzo with plenty of family history, located on main street slightly outside of the centre. Beautiful large room with comfortable bed in the traditional style of the house, with impressive communal areas for very good breakfast. Car Parking available in street. Help with luggage very welcome.

Air con could definitely be better.
