We had a fantastic room, with a terrace overlooking the Modica centre and just under the Duomo. The room is nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was good - nothing to write home about, but adequate. The staff were very friendly. You have to be careful when accessing the hotel by car. Parking could be a problem. Do not go into the small street leading to the hotel if you drive a big car!

Washhand basin located in the bedroom - just over the bed's headboard. Not really the ideal place! When designing the layouts of the room, it could have been easily integrated into the shower closet segment of the room!

The breakfast was very good. The breakfast room had some great rainbow prisms that added additional beauty to the room (pictures below). The artwork was a pleasure to see. There are A LOT of steps going down to the main road, but the views of the town and church (from the top and bottom) were incredible. The staff were great, the room were very unique, and it was a great location.

The "road" that took you down to the front of the hotel is easy to miss, and not much signage. Be careful missing it - turn around BEFORE you get to the top of the "main" road.

View!!!! A beautyful hotel on the mountain with breathtaking view to the town from rooms with terrace and view to duomo and from the restaurant balcon. There is a roof terrace too!! Incredibe wonderful view!!! There is a very good location to walking all over Modica and driving to Ragusa. Breakfast good, there are salty breakfast too (warm not). Rooms are clean. You can park on the street gratis.

Only the mattress was hard for me otherwise everything was great.

Breakfast... nothing hot...such as boiled, scrambled eggs or omelette. The hotel has around 150 steps to Modica bassa and that is a lot to do twice daily, when you're going upstairs.

The hotel is very interesting - each room is based on a movie. We were in the Blade Runner room and it was super interesting. The location of the hotel is exceptional and the view is amazing. It is clean, the breakfast is good and the staff was helpful and friendly. They also spoke perfect english, which is rare here, so we appreciated it. Overall I am super happy with our stay.

The room was awesome, don't get me wrong, but the position of the sink and the mirror was uncomfortable for doing the obvious stuff - brush teeth, put on make up, shave, etc.

We stayed in a room called the "2001 a Space Odyssey". This is really a quite quirky room. Red lighted bathroom. Back-Lit 6 foot picture of a spaceman, alien, earth, etc., hanging over the bed. A Shower wall that could be pulled along a track. Glass type flooring. Obviously a room that had a gimmick! Breakfasts were attended by a very prompt, courteous waiter. Breakfasts included a nice array of food---eggs were hard boiled.

Disliked · Sometimes the front desk clerk was not at the desk so people would just throw their room keys on top of the desk and leave. I find this to be a security issue as each key had the room number on it and anyone coming in or walking by could casually pick up any room key and enter that room.

The million dollar view! Oh god it was so beautiful! And the location was just amazing! You can just hang out on a balcony and enjoy Modica's amazing view. Definitely going back!

I regret that I didn't stay there for two nights

The location was beautiful, much better than some of the areas seen when booking, however there are lots of stairs to get to Corso Umberto. Parking our car on the street was easy and no cost. Breakfast was good.
