The hotel was beautiful and the views were incredible. The staff were super helpful and always on hand if needed in the main reception. The pool staff were extremely friendly and the pool was well kept. Rooms were really clean and well stocked.

The food at the Rosamarino restaurant could be better, the pizza & pasta was bland and expensive for what it was. The food at the new restaurant in the hotel was much better. Activities were extremely expensive and I’m not sure I’d say worth it. €80 for 1 hour Padel hire was a bit ridiculous and something like a sport should be included in the cost, as it is getting people active. Also €120 for e bikes, also ridiculous. We loved the wine tasting. We would have also done a lot more activities had they not been so expensive. Coming from London where things are always expensive and finding these costs even more than they would be in london. wifi didn’t work on second floor.

Beautiful setting & excellent facilities & staff. Beautiful touches to enhance your stay.

Sadly breakfast on our last day spoiled our stay - no waiter assigned to our table, took a while to order tea/coffee & then it didn’t arrive for over 35 minutes - obviously we asked again & a second & a third time ( as did other tables ) which resulted in the coffee station being inundated with superfluous orders resulting in further delays. Fortunately staff like Austin & the head chef Davide saved the day as they made coffee elsewhere & took our food order to assist. The restaurant manager addressed our concerns explaining over 200 residents arrived for breakfast in the space of 30/40 minutes …. But this should have been expected & anticipated.

The most incredible hotel/utopia! Castelfalfi is like it’s own little village with a hotel in the middle, there’s a restaurant a short walk away, a wine bar, shops and pizza shop. In the main hotel there’s a restaurant, spa, indoor pool, outdoor pool, bar, kids club (provide lunch for the kids). It’s truly the most incredible property, there’s a winery and golf course with golf club nearby. The golf club have amazing food and the course itself my husband enjoyed playing! The kids club is a two story building full of interactive toys and staffed with caring educators, there is an outdoor playground where the kids play, you can use the kids club from 10am-7pm. They provided lunch for the girls each day and dinner at our request at 5pm. Our girls loved it. The most incredible service and the staff make this place. Shout out to Benjamin, Bradley, Gemma, Beatrice & Eliza & all the incredible housekeeping staff.

Minor - room service fries portion is small. Everything else was perfection.

The staff were brilliant. They catered to our every need. The backdrop and sights were like something out of a dream. The spa facilities were excellent as was the food. Despite being a premium resort, I really felt it was good value for money. We will be coming back for sure.

Two things, travel to the property and golfing. It was initially challenging for us to get to the resort - with the only suggestion from the hotel being for us to purchase a €170 premium transfer after we had already purchased train travel from Rome to the closest train station 20 minutes away. We did some searching ourselves and a local driver named Bagio drove us for €80. When we informed the hotel about our grievance, they quickly rectified and offered us complimentary return on the way home - we were satisfied with this. There was also some confusion regarding golfing at the resort. We were told we could play golf, but when we arrived at the course were told we could not play unless we held a handicap card.

It’s a slice of heaven, with excellent facilities and a wonderful staff

My room had an issue with the AC and with lights that kept going on at night. Also, we had ordered room service once and the food was very cold. For the price that you would pay, these things should be better managed

The scenery at this hotel is breathtaking! The staff was super welcoming and helpful & the ambiance is very relaxing & charming! Only inconvenience is that the nice pool is inside the spa, no food or drinks allowed there.. the big main pool has not much scenery, we stayed at the spa pool which was beautiful but would've been great if they offered food or drinks there! Highly recommended hotel & dont forget to walk towards the little castelfalfi town 2 minutes from the hotel & enjoy the mountain scenery!

We absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend this property. The location is stunning, with the most amazing views over Tuscany hills, located in the pretty little town of Castelfalfi, and the stunning golf course. Stuff was super friendly, service spot on, food, drinks, the room, everything just amazing. The food was my favorite, starting with a great breakfast buffet in the show kitchen and lunch by the pool (the Pizza is great there!) or the "greetings from the kitchen" for Apero! For dinner, you can choose between fine dining (try the Wagyu!) and the more laid-back typical tuscany style restaurant where they do an amazing bistecca fiorentina. I lived for over a year in Tuscany, but never had such a good bistecca! In fact, we loved this place so much, that after we booked into a very horrible hotel in Siena, we decided to go back to Castelfalfi instead and stay another 3 nights on our Italy road trip there. BEST DECISION EVER!

It was a shame that the SPA was closed due to renovation, but that's just a reason for returning! Can't wait to swim in the new pool overlooking the hills.

Location, concierge (Mr. Valerio), all bartenders. Indoor bar and outdoor bar.

It suits more families and not adult friends/couples A lot of kids (very loud even at breakfast) Wet area and spa is closed though it’s a high season, they should have done the renovation in winter instead. When we were inquiring about a private yoga session, the lady in the concierge told us you can wait for him until he is done with his session and ask him about your needs, we replied back by saying, we are here on vacation we can’t stay for one hour just to ask him (obviously that’s her job not ours), so she has lost a client by this mediocre/lack of attraction. No variety of restaurants.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Amazing bar areas, restaurant views, room size, and overall ambiance.

We didn't have great staff service while there -- our room service dinner orders would come very late (we were late to a concert as a result and they still charged us), there was no way to get food at the main bar or outside after a certain hour (only room service available) and we didn't have a lot of help with our bags and items upon checkout. Staff didn't go out of their way to be very friendly and welcoming, and this was our most expensive hotel of the trip. One of the evenings only a very expensive buffet was offered at the restaurant as the only dining option. Overall we just wish we had better customer service treatment for the high price we paid.
