I had such a wonderful experience at Bella Palermo! From the very beginning, the administration was incredibly hospitable and responsive — they made everything smooth and stress-free. The location itself is absolutely stunning. There’s even a garden you can step into directly from the room — it feels like a hidden oasis, absolutely amazing and so uplifting. The shared area for tea or coffee time is another highlight: cozy, original, and decorated with unique pieces of art that give the whole space an intimate, creative atmosphere. I totally adore it! And once inside, I was captivated by the details — the mosaic on the floor is breathtaking, and the frescoes on the walls and ceiling completely lift the mood. Everything about this property was impeccably great. From the initial contact through to the check-in instructions, follow up by Giacomo, the owner, to make sure we were in, comfortable, and happy. The location is perfect. It's very close to the bus terminal and train station. It's quiet and safe. It's within easy walking distance to all the attractions, markets, and eateries in Palermo. It's well appointed and meticulously clean. It has a beautiful little garden, for two of the three rooms, to enjoy as is shown in the photos. Its value for money is unbeatable, and what you see in the listing is truly what awaits you. No trickery. We will definitely return to Bella Palermo. Grazie mille Giacomo!

Bella Palermo is located in a residential area close to the train station, one can walk to the old town in 5 minutes. We could sleep well, it was nice and quiet. The room was pleasant with access to the nice garden. We could make tea and coffee in the morning before starting our day. Giacomo was the perfect host with recommendations for restaurants, excursions and sightseeing. He is a very kind and sweet man who was very welcoming and generous. The host was very kind and always available. Check-in was smooth, and the city tips he provided were really helpful. We loved the green, peaceful terrace, and the whole place was clean and well-kept. Palermo surprised us with its unique vibe – full of sights and very welcoming locals. Despite the traffic, drivers were careful, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend this accommodation and beautiful Palermo!

The location is walking distance from the bus/train station; one of the reason we choose this accommodation was this proximity, as we stayed only one night, and we needed close connections with other cities. The room was as in the pictures, with that nice opening to the small terrace; even surrounded by other buildings, you feel like in a little garden. I appreciated the welcome gift (we found in the room fridge free beverages offered by the host), the fact that you can make a coffee / tea in the common area and abundant information regarding points of interest in Palermo received from the host, it was very helpful. Even we didn't meet the host, the communication was good and in time.

Fantastic central location, 400m from bus stop, right in the heart of the city. Giacomo the host, was an absolute gentleman. Went above and beyond for us. So friendly, informative, helpful and kind. We forgot our passports and he arranged to get them back to us. Cosy, Italian style clean, spacious bedroom. Great coffee every morning. 10/10.

We had a delightful stay at the Bella Palermo in early June. Giacomo was a charming and helpful host and was available to answer any questions we had about the property and Palermo. The accommodation was absolutely spotless, quite spacious for a city centre, with a lovely bathroom (good shower!) and a small patio with garden furniture. The painted ceiling in the bedroom is original 19th century and very pretty. There is also a shared kitchen/dining area where guests can make tea, coffee, breakfast, etc. Excellent location about 10 mins walk from Palermo Centrale train station, 20 mins from the Botanical Gardens, 10-15 mins from central Palermo. We felt perfectly safe walking around the area at night and found two great local restaurants/takeaways close by, serving very economical delicious, authentic food. We highly recommend the Bella Palermo and would have no hesitation in staying there when we next visit Palermo.

The mattress was a little too firm for us.

A nice stay in Palermo. great host. he sent us the list of all the tourist attractions, he was careful to have everything we needed. the accommodation was clean and located in a quiet area, close to the center. the area did not inspire us with fear or insecurity. I walked the streets even at midnight without any fear. we warmly recommend.

We stayed in room Ballaro. The host, Mr. Giacomo, was very responsive and hospitable although we didn’t have a chance to meet in person. The check-in and check-out were smooth with clear instructions. The room is spacious and clean. We love the common dining area with coffee machine, electric kettle, microwave, plates/cups/silverware and complimentary tea/coffee. Mr. Giacomo offered a large bottle of water in the small refrigerator in the room and also brought us Sicilian cannoli as a gift: such a lovely touch! Bella Palermo is less than 10 minutes walk from Palermo Central Train Station, which makes day trips easy. The center of Palermo old town is ~20 minutes by foot. One thing to note: different from other rooms, this room faces the street and therefore does not have the access to the garden.

It was not very practical to open the windows and the shades to get much fresh air and natural light for security/privacy reason because the room is facing the street at the ground level.

The host Giacomo went above and beyond to have our room ready for our early arrival. Giacomo's hospitality and advice is typical of this welcoming, friendly, fabulous city. The room itself was beautifully decorated, and had en suite bathroom and a small mini fridge. We stayed during January and had a lovely quiet, relaxing time. The whole apartment would be perfect for a family needing 3 rooms. The location of the apartment is really very good. Five minutes walk from the main train/bus station, and there are coffee/food places within 5 minutes walk too. The Ballaro market is nearby and you are 10-20 minutes walk to other sites nearby. We'd definitely consider staying here again. We had a wonderful holiday.

Because of the shared breakfast facilities I imagine in high season it could be noisy if other guests are noisy but that would be the case any where with inconsiderate co-guests. There's not a huge amount of space for luggage in the room but we managed ok.
