Occupying the first floor of a residential building, the hotel was in a superb location. Though on a peaceful street, it was only a few paces away from an area bustling with a plethora of shops, cafes, restaurants and historical sights. A 5/6 minutes walk to the railway station. The double room was simple but comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. The breakfast, courtesy of Letizia, was amazing; both variety and quality were worthy of a 5 star establishment . The staff were welcoming friendly and couldn't do enough for the guests. Nothing was too much trouble . Due to its size, it would not be ideal for those wanting to hang around, but as a base for exploring Palermo and experiencing the local street life, nothing could be better.

Guests should be aware that there is no lift. As the hotel is in the 1st floor this shouldn't be a problem for most people.

The staff was very friendly, even though they did not speak english we found a way to communicate. The day we checked out we could leave our luggage at the property and after getting soaking wet from hiking in the rain they even let us use the bathroom to have a shower even though it was already cleaned! The breakfast was very rich and delicios but not too many veggie options available. The seiling in our room was a bit low for me (being 1.89) but fine for my partner (1.70) I am sure they would have let us change rooms if we had requested that. The wifi did not reach our room, but was fast downstairs in the lobby. All in all we had a nice stay, thank you!

First of all, the location: nearby train stations, but at the same time it is already the historical center of the city. Secondly, it is the staff: the manager, who greeted me as her guest and allowed me to check in earlier than the allotted time, and the employee Letizia, who fed me breakfast like a mother, offering to eat a lot and telling me what the most delicious things were. Breakfast, in addition to a large selection of sweets, included a hot pie with mozzarella and spinach, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, olives, which is rare in small hotels in Italy. Letizia, like a real barista, made a real cappuccino with a stable foam) I want to note the cleanliness of the hotel, high-quality towels in the amount of 4 pieces per person and not cheap shower accessories.

I had a room with my own bathroom. The bidet was not very conveniently located(

The apartment was clean and my room, number 4 very spacious. Ramona was really friendly and the breakfast was top!

Room number 4 is not very high, so for taller persons, it might be difficult to stand. Also, WLAN up in room number 4 was hardly working. I personally did not feel very comfortable in the area when it was dark. Check-in process online is easy but still needed to show my documents. When arriving there, entering the apartment might be difficult. I most of the time opened the door to let new guests in when I was at the apartment. I personally did not have problems calling the owner to let me in. Understanding the way the key, or the locker system works, is a bit tricky.

Main bus and train station is a 6 min walk. Quiet street, no traffic. Old town, main streets (pedestrian area) and excellent local food market around the corner. Affordable eating places everywhere. The room was very clean, nice and cozy with a beautiful balcony. You feel comfortable and don't miss anything. 100% equipped kitchen, also coffee, tea, water etc. Everything was wonderful. My time in Palermo was so enhanced by my experience at Xenia. I was immediately welcomed into their family. Breakfast was so substantial, my room was perfectly sized and very comfortable. The location is ideal, as it’s close to the markets and theatre and train station. I cannot recommend them highly enough- the value is worth every cent.

Very centrally located. Easy walk from train station and all sites to see. Extremely welcoming staff. Greeted with coffee and cake. Very reasonably priced and above all expectations. Only downside is that neighborhood gets a bit iffy after dark, but by staying on main streets we felt safe . I don’t often give a ten.

This one surprised me! Didn’t have high expectations, just needed a place for me and my friend to stay for a night. But it was so nice! 5 min walk from the central station and equally close to the big streets. They had very good security and the staff was extremely friendly and nice. The room was pleasant, with a fresh toilet and good working AC (was 44 degrees outside). So nice breakfast aswell. Our stay here was one of the best bargains of the whole trip!

The shower head was leaking a bit, probably should be replace, but obliviously a mini problem. We had the room at the addict and the roof was very low, so had to mind your head a lot, not a big thing though

Location, clean and modern interior, kind and generous host, sympathique, great breakfast.

We had to wait over an hour to be let into the B&B - no answer from the host, and had to find someone else on the street to track him down. The electronic key system was sometimes unreliable, causing some anxiety.

The breakfast was great! The staff were very friendly and inviting but also left you alone for the most part which was good. The kitchen was able to be used so we cooked a few meals. The rooms were comfortable, aircon was great and bathrooms were nice

When we stayed earlier in the week our shower didn’t have a complete screen so water got everywhere. It would also be great to be given a code or just more clear check-in instructions to get into the first front door when you are first checking in as you need to call the host to unlock the door remotely
