Great location. Right near the Ballaro market which is a crazy,mad, fun market and well worth seeing and Via Maqeda , the street the B&B is on, is a fantastic shopping strip. It leads you straight down to Quatro Canti where there is 3 other great streets for shopping/ restaurant/ bars, and plenty to do. The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. There wasn’t a hairdryer unfortunately. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. There isn’t a lift but if you go upstairs they will get a young man to help you with your luggage. We gave him a tip as it’s a huge staircase! They also very kindly booked a cab for us when leaving. Breakfast was great, with some savoury options. Sausage in a roll, ham in a small roll as well as yoghurt, fruit, sweet rolls etc.

Beautiful building, I was blown away upon arrival. I came early to drop my bags off and was pleased when I was able to check in early. Security was great with a keypad to enter the door from the street and the door to the hotel's floor. Breakfast was lovely, fresh pastries and coffee, fruit and yogurt. Amazing price for a well located hotel really convenient to the bus station, mins walk to the centre and in a building that could be a museum. Vending machine with water bottles and snacks was a great bonus. Staff were lovely and friendly.

I couldn't fault it for the price.

The hotel exuded a historical atmosphere to me, it might frighten some, but I liked the hotel's premises and its inner courtyard. The room was a bit to a busier street, but it met everything we needed for a short stay. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Wifi worked perfectly fast. The private bathroom was just three doors away, it wasn't a problem for us. The breakfast was great and Chiara is very nice and helpful person. The hotel is within walking distance to the center to the most beautiful sights.

I do not recommend for families with children, the street from which you enter the hotel is full of strange people, homeless people and there is a mess. They often yelled at us and in the evening I would be afraid to go here alone as a girl, it was fine like a couple. In the hotel, you can hear a lot from the street and the surroundings can scare some of you. It wasn't such a big problem for us - just for info.

I wanted to experience a historic hotel in the old district and that was the experience I got. Do not stay here if you have problems with stairs or uneven surfaces as it is a historic building. Once I was acquainted to the area which is very ethnic I loved the location. It is on a low traffic street only blocks away from the historic sites, walking street with abundant restaurants, shopping and easy to navigate. Only a 10 minute walk with suitcase to bus depot with cheap shuttle bus to the airport.

Good space when on a day or two visit to Palermo- 10 minutes walk to the main areas, easy breakfast included and ac worked great.

The water went out in my stay and when it came back on I think the pipes had to be cleared out as rust water came out of the shower - this ran clear after a few minutes and was a non issue after. Check in was a bit confusing on how to get into the building from the street - host was responsive via WhatsApp and was there for check in within ten minutes

Easily accessible to the train station and the city center. Very clean and well maintained. A balcony, safe in the room, great AC, large flatscreen TV, comfortable bed, super clean sheets, lots of charm, great breakfast, an Illy self serve coffee machine for 1 euro, vending machine with snacks and beverages, refrigerator, and super awesome hosts who took excellent care of all guests!

Street side is a bit noisy at times.

Nice breakfast and really good location in the heart of Palermo! The manager is extremely helpful and gave us lots of tips how to make our stay in Palermo and area one of the best experience in the life! He advised us how to get to the nice places where to eat etc. Thanks to his help we could discover more about Sicilia and its history. GRAZZIE MILLE

Some renovation would be beneficial....

The lady at breakfast was very pleasant and I truly looked forward to seeing her every morning to make me a nice cappuccino. The dining hall and the architecture and decor was quite charming with beautiful ceilings and a cute balcony. I love how convenient it is to get to the center as well as the train station .

I didn't like the location of our room. It was quite noisy outside as well as the echoes from the corridor. At moments of catching sleep the outside air-conditioning units would go on and makers blaring sounds.

Nice location. Very busy location. Walking distance from a lot of beautiful landmarks and the best part four minutes from the train station! We had a beautiful room and staff helped with our luggage! Everyone was helpful, friendly, and kind. The free breakfast was okay. We slept well and the beds were comfortable. Felt safe. Would book again. Very nice staff! Oh! It’s important to note the staff help as my mother walks with a cane and there is a lot of steps to go up. Staff went above and beyond to help and this was greatly appreciated!

Nothing. If anything the TV was smaller and the room was huge so the TV echo’s at night. I’m not sure that’s something I didn’t like! More of an observation.
