The hotel is located in one of the main streets in Palermo. As it is not really a new building, be aware that you hear all the noise from the street and all the loud music coming up from the cars, etc (apparently, a driving disco is a thing in Palermo now :D). The standard is not luxus and the building isolation is poor. So, if you find that sleeping is hard with loud noises, maybe you can request a room further from the main street. HOWEVER, the staff is extremely kind. They managed my check in hours before the normal hours, there is place to leave your luggage and really... the front desk will try their very best to help you out with anything they can. I tried to book again 2 days after I left; it was fully booked; but I would surely come back. The room is big, and there is balcony.

This is a very quaint little hotel, staffed by smiley and accommodating people! The room was quite spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. For the amount of money we paid for this hotel, everything was very nice. Location is very good, between the train/bus/shuttle station and the center. This is especially useful if you plan to take trains or buses to the airport or to visit other areas of Sicily. The bathroom was also quite spacious, very clean and with wonderful decoration (tiles). The pressure of the water in the shower was great. There is breakfast provided which is very nice. And there is an elevator in the building. In all, this hotel had a great value for money and we were made to feel like locals.

The building is a bit old as most of the buildings of the city of Palermo. Just mentioning this for people who might expect modern accommodation. Also, the plumbing could use a revamp but there was no issue with hot/cold water and pressure, just old faucet etc. The sound proofing is not good and the city is very noisy. For people with problems sleeping, it`s best if you find a more modern accommodation a bit further away from the city center. Also the area is quite busy and at nights it might seem a bit scary (but we were never in danger).

Dario who works at reception is extremely nice and helpful. The rest of the staff is really nice and works well There is a 5 euro breakfast every morning with a lot of options The room had a double bed and a private bathroom and a fresh balcony to read a good book at the end of the end in the shade The hotel is right in the middle of the beautiful Palermo city center. I never had to walk more than 15 minutes to get to a famous monument or good restaurant The rooms are cleaned every night

There is a garbage pick up at around 2-3 A.M that is extremely loud and the hotel is in the middle of a busy avenue so I would recommend some sort of noise cancellation system. I had to make due with sleeping with my earphones on while playing white noise I cut myself pretty bad while shaving and they didn't really have a first aid kit to treat a cut with bleeding. But that was my fault, I should have been more careful

They gave us a nice room that is away from the main street and it was easy for our small one to sleep. Cot was already in the room. It is an old building and it is on 4th floor, there is a small elevator but it is OK for an umbrella type stroller and two people. There are also 8-9 steps before elevator, so last exercise before the elevator. Breakfast is nice and quick enough. They even helped us for keeping the milk for our little one in the kitchen. We walked all Palermo city in the region near to Stadium from here, even did a day trip to sea side north, Cefalu, and Monreal by public transportation that it has good location for easier access to train and bus lines.

The room is OK and AC is working fine but even though everything working is fine bathroom would require an update/renewal on tap, shower etc. There is no toilet roll, there is single use paper that if it finishes in the middle of night, there is no possibility to refill it. Some towels were too old, but new ones looked clean and white enough.

Very specific location giving a view on real ontime Palermo society. Wonderful placement in an old building refreshed and suited to current travellers needs (4th floor). Absolutely fantastic hosts - each person was very kind, helpful, acompanying and I have special thanks for understanding attitude for the troubles our group caused unpurpously. Fantastic window views, very tasty day starters at breakfast. Easy connection to famous and popular places and communication hubs (esp train/bus station).

I missed one thing: 24 hours access to boiled water (no kettles access) was difficult for me (special needs).

The staff were great, the room and bathroom were clean and the bed was really comfortable. Plus the location was ideal for the train station, airport shuttle bus and the centre of town, all were about 10-15 minutes away from the hotels front door. Wish we could have stayed longer.

It is a grand old building, but some elements of the room and shower/bathroom were starting to look a little tired, but this small point doesn’t effect your stay in any way.

Very close to the train station, bus and all the most important historical attractions. The hotel has professional, helpful and very nice service. There are large clean rooms, comfortable beds, good quality bedding, towels, and in the morning a tasty breakfast with coffee. After check-out you can leave your luggage for a few hours. The atmosphere and hospitality is nice like at friends house so we felt great here. Definitely I will come back here.

I liked everything

I booked this hotel because it was walkable from the railroad station and because it was located in the historic city center. It was great in both regards. After booking I saw several comments about street noise. We got lucky room #13 and there was no noise at all. The staff was wonderfull helpful and always pleasant. It's an older building with a funky lift. I would definately stay again in spite of the WiFi issue.

The WiFi is a joke. I was never able to connect and stay connected. Otherwise I'd give this palce a ten.

Lovely people who work there! They are always happy to help you or give advice. The view from my balcony was amazing when the sun was going down.

I know it is a noisy big main street but it is common in the south of Italy or in this case Palermo Sicilia. It is their culture. You get the vibe after a few days. Nothing to worry about!

Staff is very helpful and professional. Clean and well kept facility. Excellent location from proximity to major attraction sites and train station point of view. If you want to see as much of Palermo in a few days and move forward to your new destination, that's place to stay.

The location is an double-edge sword, it is on busy street, a bit noisy late at night on weekends, please consider that if you prefer to live on a different schedule. It is not a spa to relax, rather a spot from where you could dive into vibrant Palermo life head-on.
