A lovely, clean, well equipped hostel with fabulous hard working staff, particularly the cleaner, he never stops & keeps the place in pristine condition. When I arrived, I'd lost my purse & was in a state of anxiety & ranting. The receptionist couldn't have possibly been more helpful, kind & understanding of my stress. Also, when I wanted to change rooms due to a personal issue, the staff were understanding, descrete & respectful. The hostel is a safe space with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

The only thing I didn't like was having to leave the hostel & come home.

Staff of this accomodation was extremely helpful and kind, the age limit guarantees a great opportunity to meet fellow travelers. I loved spending dinners on the balcony watching the buzz in Via Roma and also meeting people from all over the world. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The dorm room was clean, comfortable, with decent amount of storage for my belongings. The beds were cozy, plus, the bathrooms were adequately clean, which I really appreciated.

Sometimes some minor things were broken (like the door of one shower, tho there were 6 others) and also for the first dew days I had only half the closet since there were 7 closets for 8 beds, however the overall exprerience was delightful and would deffinitely recommend this hostel to other travelers.

I loved the shared space with couches etc. where you could meet other young people, I appreciate the age limit and the female-only room option. The bedroom was clean and well kept - I liked the bathroom a lot, it allowed enough privacy despite being shared. There were also all the extra things travellers would need which is great (shampoos, blow dryers…) The staff was very young and friendly too. I felt safe and welcomed there from the moment I stepped in. And the location of this hostel? Absolutely perfect!

My biggest problem was that the lockers are extremely small (and most of them are broken). I texted the staff the meassurements of my suitcase prior to my trip to make sure it will fit and they told me it would - it absolutely did not. Fortunately I had my own lock to lock my suitcase but if someone took my whole suitcase I would lose everything. That was very upsetting. There was also a problem with water pressure which as I am finding out is pretty common in this hostel.

The kitchen closing at 11,30 .. In my personal opinion it has no much sense .. You may just need to close the bar and that's it.. Above all, if someone needs to cook late in night, as often happens in these places, or wants to go out to smoke, considering inside is forbidden, or has a late pc job to do, well it's a pity, people has to eat, work or even smoke outside in front of the building in an area like the one the hostel is ubicated. Is not safe, if you know what I mean ... At least for people who need to smoke . create a dedicate area and leave open overnight .. and create private rooms for someone who needs more privacy.. That's all.. everything else is Perfectly fine !!

Really good location ,,staff is super helpful,, and not making noise ,,peaceful place ,,in this hostel ,,you have all you need ,,main train or bus station is on walking 3 minutes ,,town bus 101 station to central street is in front of hostel ,, to anywhere,, to Mondello beach too ,,kitchen is super and it close late 1 am,,so you have freedom with time,,I have rely good time and relax in Balarm hostel ,, all best to those people

Close to the city center and train station Breakfast is good Kitchen is well equiped You have enough baths Common space is very nice,you have also a bar Street view was very good from the balconies

The door from the balcony was broken and I stay near the door,outside it’s a very noisy street(via Roma).Everyone went outside after 00 and I couldn’t fall asleap They can improve the cleaning process Also roommates were too messy but it’s not hostel fault🤣

The workers are really friendly and nice. My room felt very clean and had some AC which was necessary for the heat outside. I had lots of space for storage and could use the lockers to store my laptop and other small valuables. The location is perfect, close the the train station and the historic part of town which was very convenient. I felt like it was a really good value for money and would definitely stay there again.

The showers are definitely a bit smelly, but i think it’s more because of the type of plumbing and they clean them every morning.

One thing is in the gray room was kind of light that shared between the outside and the room, I Suggested separate the room light

Very well located - near to the station (5 mins walk) and then another 5 mins to the main sites in the centre of Palermo. A large Lidl is 2 mins away. In fairly good condition for the city and attentive staff. Late checkin available at a fee. Plenty of lockers in and out of the room.

It’s pretty good overall. No towel included - a further payment. Showers fine, toilets average.

I slept in a huge room with the ladies. Everyone was kind and respectful. It was a good experience. The temperature can variate (through window) and I recommend earplugs. LOVED that it is very central, easy to reach and the co-space. Had amazing conversations as it is easy to meet people.

Kitchen could be more clean although it had everything I needed to cook.
