What an excellent hotel! Alessandro was a fantastic host, very friendly even before we arrived at the hotel. The rooms are well sized, clean and equipped with tea and kettle, mini fridge and large bathroom. The breakfast is a nice mix of sweet and savoury local items and Ale is on hand to make you coffee. The location is great - less than 10 mins walk from the central train station so you can easily get the bus there from the airport and walk. It's also a short walk to plenty of excellent bars and restaurants, which Alessando has plenty of suggestions - just ask!

Nothing - what an excellent place to stay!!! The only downside was that there's a bit of construction happening on a nearby building. It wasn't a problem for us as we woke up early, but it does start getting louder between the hours of 7 - 8am... not a huge deal but something to consider if you like a lay in on holiday.

A brilliant start to our holiday in Sicily. A fab location - right in the centre of town. We were able to walk everywhere from there. Being on the second floor was a bonus too - a lovely roof terrace (both for breakfast and late-afternoon chilling) and maybe quieter than a lower floor (we had no issues with noise at all, and our room was at the front). The recommendations for bars and restaurants which Alessandro provided were all excellent. A couple we had found ourselves without realising they were on the list (we clearly share his taste!), and some we would never have come across without him and thoroughly enjoyed them. Alessandro is a brilliant host - very welcoming when you meet him at breakfast, and very helpful on whatsapp both before and during your stay. If you're scrolling through reviews, trying to decide where to stay - stop scrolling and book here!

Quattro Incanti is delightful! It is perfectly located near Palermo Central train station, and within walking distance of many sights in the town. Despite it being a busy area, we had no issues sleeping because the room had great shutters and sound proofing. The room was also perfectly clean, and included AC, a bathroom, a safe, fridge and kettle. The host Alessandro is excellent, providing very clear instructions to access the building, recommendations for the local area, and hosting a lovely breakfast on the roof terrace. I would highly recommend Quattro Incanti if you are staying in Palermo.

Really too much to mention on what stood out at our stay at Quattro Incanti it's hard to provide specifics, but ultimately the host, Alessandro, together with an amazing location were just almost perfect. The location itself is in an amazing part of the city. During the day, it's a labyrinth of streets, smells coming from every corner, but at night it takes on a feeling of being smack bang in the middle of it all, with locals and tourists simply having fun, brushing next to each other during drink, food and culture. Also about a 15min walk to the central parts of Palermo, within hours you've got your bearings and can navigate the city at ease. Alessandro was an absolute rock, providing some incredible tips and insights that made our stay more enjoyable. Breakfast was basic, but just spot on with some great cheeses, some classic meats, absolutely beautiful homemade cakes and a great selection of breads, jams and spreads, all served on a roof top terrace overlooking the neighbourhood. Without question, should I ever visit Palermo again for a few days, I'd stay again. Would be great revisiting the neighbourhood and would be a joy to catch up with Alessandro over his amazing cappuccinos.

Very difficult to say anything major. Sure it's in a neighbourhood, so expect noise, but as a few have said, the windows are fantastic at just shutting that out. There's no lift, but it's really not that much of a problem going up a few flights of stairs. These are things that just add to the character of the place, and really are not that big at all.

The place was clean and well-furnished. We stayed for three nights at Alessandro’s place, and he was very helpful and communicated well. All instructions regarding check-in and the use of hotel facilities were very clear. The location is also good, within walking distance to the main attractions. If you would like to use public transportation, the bus stop is just a 1-2 minute walk away. The terrace is also great for breakfast, and the view is nice.

There was some noise due to the pub below; the windows block most of it, but you can still hear some. There are no elevators (I guess no place has them in Palermo! :). The breakfast could be more varied.

Quattro Incanti was conveniently located in the heart of the historical area of Palermo, easily accessible for walking around the sights. Our B&B host, Alessandro, was very helpful and clear with directions for getting to the B&B and for parking. He also had a great number of recommendations for where to go for meals or places to check out. The room was spacious, clean and perfect for our night in Palermo. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely and delicious. We had a great time and would definitely like to come back again!

This was a wonderful stay at Quattro Incanti. Everything is perfectly clean and taken care of. We can only recommend staying there. Alessandro is managing that with all of his heart and passion. The day starts with a perfect breakfast - cappuccino, tea, fruits, cereal, sweets, sausage … everything you need, including various delicious selfmade cakes from his mother in law ;-) The terrace is beautiful and Alessandro even puts chocolate, cigarillos and grappa for you there to enjoy, when you come home from dinner in one of the restaurants Alessandro is recommending (big list of restaurants, bars, streetfood, etc.). He takes care of everything you need, no matter whether it’s an advice or carrying suitcases down. Really a perfect host.

Centrally located to major attractions with beautiful rooms. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best on our trip. Nice terrace available to the guests as needed. The property is a short walk from the central station, as advertised. As mentioned by others, the area can be noisy. However, the neighborhood is incredible for restaurants and evenings. For us, a great trade off to be near such a pleasant vibe, and I just slept with the earplugs provided. And if you want quiet, you should probably go to another city!

Easy to get to from train station. Host Alessandro goes all out to make sure you have a great experience with included breakfast of fresh baked goods cheeses and deli meats not to mention made to order cappuccino and other coffees. He also offers suggestions for local restaurants and will assist you with any questions about Palermo. We had a great stay highly recommended
