It is a Sicilia-style hotel, nicely designed with a lot of sense for details. The room and bathroom are reasonably sized, and the parquet in the room is unusual in Italy, but if you like it, it is an aesthetic plus. Price is favorable compared to the other central located 4*, but it is probably the result of the unusual neighborhood. The reception staff is efficient and they are kind.

Breakfast is not worthy to be paid. The choice is limited, the quality is for 3* hotels, and the breakfast serving lady is coldhearted, almost becoming legendary with a lack of smile and kindness. The neighborhood is filthy, full of rubbish, loud, and sometimes strange, but they are not evil or dangerous. They are just poor, and different and you can pass the problematic area in 2-3 minutes or choose to enjoy some food, drink, or music there.

Really friendly personell, as you may expect their English is great. They informed us about nice recommendations in Palermo and we definitely saw a whole lot of diverse places in the span of 2 days. Regarding the room, although small, it is comfortable, very, very clean. Nice to come into a good hotel after a long travel. We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple of nights while exploring Palermo.

- Staff is extremely friendly and helpful (I added +1 to my rating for the staff). - Location is great, very walkable to the city center. - Private place at the street for parking. 15 EUR/night. (Don't try to find street parking Saturday night). No ZTL. - Rooms exactly like in the pictures (but definitely aged) with very little investment it will be more beautiful. - With better sound insulation and small renovations, the hotel rating will improve dramatically!

- It is impossible to sleep Saturday night due to the proximity of a night club, several bars and passing cars with loud music. Bring earplugs! Of course this is not specific to this hotel but the hotel can do a better job in sound insulation with newer windows etc. The other nights were fine, we slept well. - The elevator is noisy. We stayed on the top floor, probably the engine was close to the room.

A nice and clean room with a spacious bathroom, exceptionally helpful and nice front desk staff — thanks again for the kettle! :)

The shower cubicle was extremely small, I could barely fit in it. And the street the hotel is located in can get really noisy even when it’s past midnight — although this is something the hotel can’t control — loud music, people yelling and shouting all around.

Shower cabin was fancy with all the massage functions but none of them worked except for the normal shower, would be nice to get that working:) There were russians in the hotel, that's always a downside for other guests..It's a shame you can't avoid those, I would do it as a hotel manager if I could

I loved the bathroom it was big enough and had a small jakuzi styled shower! I loved also the bed it was comfortable. For me being comfortable and feeling home matters I really enjoyed my stay. The people working there were very helpful I forgot my adaptor and they immediately borrowed me one. Also near by the city center I could walk everywhere at most 20-30 minutes. I would love to come and stay there again

As everyone else said it’s a bit too much noisy area but I think if you see the reviews and bring ear plugs with you that will be alright. Also breakfast can have more varieties such as more cheese options or olives etc.

The host was super organized and friendly. The location is perfect (close to the center yet quiet). The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. After checking out, the host kindly kept our luggage free of charge while we strolled in the town. This is one of the best stays over the past 5 weeks in Italy. We like to come back stay again!

Clean and tidy, good location, helpfull and kind staff. Breakfast is also good, and I had very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay again in this hotel and I would recommend it.

If possible avoid to be there on Saturday nights, because it is extremely loud outside, near the hotel. It is not hotel's responsability, but however, it's impossible to sleep until 3 or 4AM on that night because of extremely loud music. Also, shower cabin in my room was incredibly, narrow, so it was very difficult even to stand in it and to take shower.

The hotel was great. The installations were clean and handy and the staff was friendly and helpful.
