It was super clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was perfect. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. The terrace in the dining room had beautiful views of the city and mountains. Also Al Passio contacted us by whatsap welcoming us and explained to us what we needed to do when we arrived at the property. This was a personal touch and a great way to communicate.

Unfortunately we didn’t realise that there wasn’t a bathroom in our room, you had to walk across the hall. Although this was a short distance, it was slightly inconvenient if you required the loo in the middle of the night. However it didn’t spoil the holiday as everything else about the property was spot on for us.

I had a wonderful stay at B&B al Passio. The location is perfect and everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also great, with a nice variety to choose from. What impressed me the most was the kindness and attention of the owners. On our last night we had to leave very early in the morning, before the regular breakfast time, and they thoughtfully prepared everything for us the night before and left it in our room. This small gesture made us feel really cared for and showed how much they value their guests. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Palermo!

Everything was perfect!

Really nice place to stay, close to the sea, main street and buses. Lovely owners! Breakfast was the best we had in Sicily - a choice of sweet and savoury. Great coffee too. The view from the terrace is amazing! We spent some time there one evening, drinking wine and admiring the view. Our room was good, but I highly recommend booking a room with a terrace - it looks much bigger and the terrace has a better view. Our room was decent, with a balcony. Comfortable beds, mini fridge in the room, one wardrobe with some hangers. I would come back, but staying in a room with a terrace.

Bathrooms are just outside rooms - it is not the problem, but each room gets its own key to lock the door for its bathroom. The noise of opening and closing the door woke me up a couple of times each nice. Plus, on one night, someone was sick most of the time, and we could hear it all. The view from our balcony wasn't amazing, but still nice to sit outside. It was shown in pictures, so my fault for not paying attention.

I dont often comment but I score the hotels, restaurants etc only when it provides extraordinary service. BREAKFAST - It was very delicious. There were yogurts, 3 kind of juices, coffees, several types of teas, some kinds of bread (wtih mozzarella, salmon, spinach, ham etc) and some kind of sweat breads (white cream, chocolate cream, pistaccio cream etc). The breakfast was really, really good. ROOM - I travelled with my husband and my 4 years old daughter. The room was big (we had a lot of space) and well equiped (tv, fridge with water inside, air conditioner and private terrace with two chairs and a table. The view was beautiful (you can see big boats, sea and mountains etc). The beds were big and comfortable (I slept veery well). Everything was very tidy and clean. Perfect for us. BATHROOM - Looks nice and it's very clean and tidy. LOCATION - the location is in the centre with a lot of good restaurants and shops. It's nearby port. We came by train from the airport. There is also a bus station very close to the hotel. STAFF - The staff was the best! <3 Alessandra who we spent the most time with is so lovely and nice. I really appreciate all the conversations we had (and I will miss this). She smiles a lot and she was lovely also for my daugther who is very shy but told her 'Buongiorno' and 'grazie' :) This is a person you feel you know since forever. I feel like coming back there soon.

Really lovely hosts, great location, most places are within walking distance. Great views from the terrace which we loved lounging in the evenings. Rooms are very simple but equipped with a fridge and air-conditioning. Bathroom is in a separate room but close by. Breakfast is granola or tasty pastries. You can also drink coffee or juice. Loved staying there mostly because the view is so so good! Just be mindful of ZTLs. The B&B is not in one but Via Roma that is leading to the B&B is, so wisely choose another road:)

Cute converted apartment for accommodation with good views of the city. Staff is very friendly and they provide good breakfast. Rooms were clean and big.

We didn't like the part that it's very noisy in the nighttime from the streets despite that we are on the top floor. Same noise in the morning where you can hear everything and everyone going out from the room or when they do cleaning as they smashing doors and being quite noisy. So if you want to rest it will be challenging for you and not to stay more than 1 or 2 days .

The location is amazing. One of the best pizza places (Biga) and the sightseeing buses stop is just next door. Amazing view from the terrace and balconies. Clean rooms. Very friendly and helping owners

Private bathroom is not in the room but in the common area. You hear everything happening in the other rooms and common area - not that nice when you have light sleep. Breakfast is tasty but as vegetarian there are only sweet and not savory items available (it is a common thing for Italy though)

Very kind and accommodating hosts. That is very important especially to tired travellers. The room was exceptionally large and VERY clean. Modest breakfast with coffee served to you. We had a beautiful terrace with very well maintained frangipani, oleander and jasmine plants everywhere Beds were comfortable. Location was 10-15 minute walk to the major sites to visit, close and a direct road to the train station on foot.

I travel a lot, and stay in many places…There is nothing negative to say about this place.

It was fabulous! You need to remember that this is a b&b, not a hotel - if you need a hotel's 24/7 facilities and staffing, stay in a hotel, but if you want somewhere with real Sicilian character where you meet the owners and can communicate directly with them (using Google Translate), this is for you. We were in room Cattedrale, which was very spacious and with an excellent end section of the wonderful terrace - beautiful plants, table and chairs and amazing views of the harbour (cruise ships), the hills and the rooftops. The rooms overlook a side street with a couple of restaurants and which is closed to traffic, so are reasonably quiet for a large city. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The fridge was very welcome as was the bottle of water in it. The aircon, even in mid-September, was just what was needed, and could be turned on or off and adjusted to suit. The private bathroom (yes, it's across the corridor - you will get used to it) was extremely clean, and there was always lots of hot water. I have never stayed anywhere with such huge bath towels - a real luxury! We were very grateful for the kind attention of Julia and her daughter in supplying a range of gluten-free items for my daughter for breakfast. Breakfast is soft, Sicilian pastries, yoghurt and cereal in a small but pleasant room - and you can sometimes eat on the terrace. The B&B is well located on Via Roma - an interesting 10/15 or so minute walk from the touristy area - you can hop on a bus (buy tickets from tobacconists) if you like, but there were lots of excellent restaurants within 2-5 minutes' walk. All-in-all an excellent choice, and we very much hope to return.

Nothing - it was wonderful! My only suggestion would be some cushions for the chairs on the terrace, a kettle (there was one in the breakfast room - maybe that can be used - we brought our own) and a little more shelf space for clothes in the bedroom - we were here for a week. Also, and this is outside the control of the B&B Al Passio, you are on the 7th floor, and you might find the lifts (there are two) a bit small - but they were fine when you got used to them.

Alessandra and Salvo were wonderful and very helpful hosts. We had early tours planned during our stay and they gave us some food so we could have breakfast before we left. There was a coffee machine available and water. We were also able to leave our luggage with them on check out day. Location was excellent. They could not do enough for us.
