Carport with curtains in the backdoor of the camera. Security at the hotel. Staff very accommodating. Nicely laid out with restaurant. I left early in the morning so I cannot comment on food. I had a caffe and it was good. Not close enough to the airport. It cost me 48€ for an early morning taxi for a 12-minute ride. For an overnight stay, I would stay closer to Linate aeroporto.

No shower only a jetted tub. That was very disappointing. I take a shower every day and I dislike getting into a very high tube to use a spray. I have to say that because of that, I cannot say that I would ever stay again (unless there are rooms with a shower! I believe it is close to transportation to Central Milano (but I did not go).

INDIVIDUAL GARAGES WITH DOOR CLOSURES FOR EACH ROOM, This CLOSURE was your garage entrance to your extremely well appointed rooms, the front entrance was down the long corridor to the reception and restaurant.., I loved the super secure entrance and MASSIVE PRIVACY, and, get this, you check in “ IN YOUR CAR”, that is so sick ! The rooms decor would not be everyone’s taste as it is Empire Style Class… this is not the generic cookie cutter modern Ala IKEA style… this is super classic decor, pure class in Burgundy, Gold Accents, with Walnut Wood everywhere.

Hard to find in a rain storm, but it is actually in an awesome location about 11 minute from the Auto Rental Garage at Linate…

A spacious well managed hotel. The room was larger than expected with full amenities and a large bath tub. Everything was very clean. The staff was friendly and responsive. the breakfast was very good. This was a great hotel for worn travelers to recuperate before flying home. Restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel.

Although I would stay here again, it is a awkwardly longer drive to the Lanate Airport with much traffic (don't assume a quick ride). If you drop a rental car off at the airport before checking in, you will have to pay a Taxi to get to this hotel. Google maps identified an easy walking route... don't try it. It brings you through a airport restricted area... that's as far as you go.

The Hotel Maxim is a hidden Gem. The staff are exceptional. Sophia at the front desk was so helpful and courteous. Arnold the van driver to and from the airport is a great man. He was so welcoming and friendly. He shared the hotels history and many interesting facts about the area. The bed was very comfortable, the room extremely QUIET. We did not have a car but the enclosed parking spots are convenient and secure. The room was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious with a large variety of foods. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Milan. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

Everything was great

The room was spacious, and elegant. The bed was comfortable. Very convenient parking right beside the room. Nice whirlpool tub in the bathroom. Very convenient to Linate airport and free shuttle service. The staff was very helpful in giving me a primer on how to get to prime Milan sites via the metro.

The only thing I did not care for was the restaurant. The food and the choices were adequate, but the management is up front that they do not have a full kitchen and restaurant staff, so all of their offerings are warmed up ready made dishes. On the plus side, their offerings are very reasonably priced.

We chose Maxim because it is close to Linate airport (many BA flights in and out). Room was super clean and spacious. We loved the large bathtub! Old time decorations- rich wood and furniture and carpet. Hardly any people in the hotel besides us. Most of the staff friendly, courteous, and helpful. The breakfast was extra (10euros - a good deal) and there was no dinner, except some microwaved dishes. We tried one the last night (since we didn't want to walk to another restaurant) and it wasn't bad and inexpensive. BTW there is a fun and good food place to eat about one kilometer nearby: "MAD," with about mid range prices where local families go.

The taxi service in Peschiera Boromeo is poor. The cost to go from the Maxim Hotel to Linate airport (2 kilometers) was as much as going from Milan centro to the Maxim! About 35 euros! (They said they had to come from Milan (10 miles) in order to pick us up at the Maxim. If you're staying at the Maxim and flying out of Linate early, you may want to research a cheaper way to the airport (uber?).

Lady at the reception was so nice, courteous, friendly, and cooperative. Its a vintage hotel with as clean environment as it could be. Very clean and room size was very good with high ceilings, personal parking spot right next to your room. Breakfast was reasonable. All the amenities in the bathroom were available even toothbrush

I like the room but the door is not safety especially at the back.i like the bathroom just right for me..breakfast not really good.

The scramble egg, atleast you should have fried egg. No fruits. I order hamburger friday night and the beef burger is so hard , the salad no dressing..

The rooms are very clean and the attendants are very friendly

Too bad I had to eat pork so bad that there was no turkey and chicken ham for breakfast. This is not a problem for me, I ate it, but it can be a problem for those who do not eat.

Breakfast was great, very good selection and excellent service. Room was clean and quiet. Shuttle to the airport was prompt and easy, driver was very friendly. There are a few restaurants within easy walking distance.

Bath has a huge tub with a handheld wand shower, no walk-in shower. Would have been nice if the bar was open.
